Horrible customer service. Refuse to provide exchange/ refund for faulty merchandise.

Shipped faulty items and refused to resolve issue, provide exchange or refund. I purchased: "Put Your Set Together... Scenario Tab Top Curtain in durable cotton canvas fabric to mix and match with the entire Scenario Collection. This curtain is sold individually, not in pairs, which is common in Europe but less so in the UK. This is due to the wider variety of window sizes and shapes. You can simply buy as many (or as few) panels as you need, dependent upon the width of the window you are covering." From the web page for the White Ecru color curtains, I selected from the dropdown menu 5x180cm and 2x260cm to make a matching set of 7 for the 3 windows in my sunroom. They arrived in a variety of fabrics of different weights and colors that don't match when hung. The 260cm do not match each other and 1 of the 180cm does not match the other 4. Despite their supposed "100% Product Satisfaction Guarantee," customer service steadfastly refused to allow me to exchange the mismatched panels for ones that do match -OR- to return the whole set for a refund (because they won't guarantee all will match.) I am told by customer service I may only return them at my own expense (paying all airmail to and from US) because I do not have the right to expect to order different items from the collection and expect them to match. ????

TV Stand order

I ordered a TV stand just after Christmas. For 2 months, the product was not shipped. In the "my orders" page, it said the product had shipped, but upon going to DHL's tracking website, only the label had been created and they had not received the item in order to ship it to me. I contacted customer service several times by email, to no avail, as they told me they would contact their shipping partner and would revert to me. Nothing happened. Eventually called the company, only to find out (two months after I placed my order) that La Redoute does not ship items weighing more than 7kg to my location. Terrible service; would not recommend.

Do not use this company

I ordered a comforter cover - 200cm x 200cm. They sent something smaller 183cm x 195cm. Doesn't fit. I contacted the return service and they took a few weeks to reply and they sent a very confusing message in French.

In the meantime, I tried to leave reviews on their website but they wouldn't publish my reviews.

I don't trust this company and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.

69 days after order ... no parcel, no refund

Ordered from La Redoute 1st December 2020. When my parcel failed to arrive I contacted them by phone. La Redoute confirmed (19 days after order was placed) that they could not complete the order as they did not have the item in stock. Its now 7th February, almost 10 weeks since I placed the order and I have not received a refund - over 2 months, several polite international charge phone calls and email contacts with La Redoute customer service and I have no parcel or refund!! La Redoute confirmed 19 days after order was placed that they could not complete my order, it is now 69 days after my order and they have still failed to refund me. I have been very polite in my enquiries - patient and uncomplaining up to now but I have finally had enough!! I am out of pocket by €163 and no sign of my money back after all this time - be very careful purchasing from La Redoute. I had placed several orders over the last number of years but this experience has left me very unhappy with their poor service.... and I still do not have my money back!!!

THE WORST online shopping experience by far!

I can safely rate this as THE WORST online shopping experience I’ve ever had ! I ordered a leather jacket for my daughter as a Christmas present on the 3rd Nov and got a dispatch note from La Redoute to say the order had left France on the 7th. However when the order arrived in Ireland the tracking page said that it was being sent back to France because of some issue. I wrote to customer services two times informing them about this but got no reply. By this time it was already the 21st Nov and I decided to try re-order the jacket because otherwise I would not get it in time for Christmas. (I went through PayPal to get a refund for my original order which I got immediately.) I now waited for my re-ordered item to arrive. On the 25th I got a dispatch note again from La Redoute with a tracking number. Since then the order has been stuck ‘in transit’ with the courier company. Called customer services number three times and spoke with the same person who could only tell me the order was stuck with the courier company - no reasons given , no apologies. I explained that this was a Christmas present and all the lady said was that she would get back to me when she heard back from the courier company. Till date no reply! Then on the 20th Dec i suddenly get a reply from customer services saying that they have information about my original order and that the courier company needs more information about my address. I am shocked because customer services is clearly unaware that this order has been refunded to me (despite having sent me a refund email themselves!) Again I wrote to them explaining this and asking about the re-ordered item. Again no reply. Christmas has come and gone and I’m now wondering if I’m going to receive this order at all. Worst customer services. Nobody knows what’s going on and I don’t think they care too much about losing customers. I would honestly tell people to stay away from this company if you value your sanity !

Never received my order!

I've ordered 2 rugs from this website more than a month ago and still haven't received my order. I've been trying to contact customer care and they don't pick up the phone or reply to my messages. Now I'm trying to cancel the order to get a refund but I can't find a way to do so. I wish I have read all the bad reviews before buying in this store.

Quality of the product is really good

Quality of the product is really good. Bought a duvet cover, pillow cases and cushion covers. All 100% cotton and really happy with what I ordered. It took over 3 weeks to arrive but I don't blame la Redoute on that - this is the vagaries of Christmas Postage. So I will definitely order again but make sure I am in no hurry for the items

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. Ordered several expensive items in October. No delivery and now tracking has disappeared. Emailed them 5 tines and got 1 reply saying they'd check it out and 3 weeks later still nothing from them. No customer service and not even the curtesy of a reply from them. Deplorable.

Missing items - no customer service

Ordered from La Redoute.com twice before and was happy, despite very slow shipping. Now, we ordered 5 expensive items, and only received 1 item (but paid for all 5 and it says 5 were shipped - GE787028222FR). No reply to emails or phone calls. Call centre only an answering machine. Will use Paypal buyer protection if they don't respond within the next week.

My wife is waiting a month for delivery. Tracking just shows it as despatched. She has tried to contact them many times and just gets an automated reply and yet another Ticket Number, We just want our purchases. It may be time to do a charge bank and get the money returned. Very poor customer service.

Appalling customer service and I would…

Appalling customer service and I would not used this site ever again. I purchased 3 items on 23 October. To this date 16 November I have received none and no email explaining the delay. My order cost €160 , this is not good enough. With the all the online shopping I have done over the last 9 months I have not come across a company as BAD as La Redoute for customer service and poor communication. I want a refund ASAP! Order No. GE739557780FR. Customer service should not only depend on customers leaving bad reviews on TrustPilot! It should exist anyway.
I will continue to leave a bad review every single day until I get some communication from La Redoute.com!!!

Order cancelled after 8 weeks and not advised

Like others, i placed an order for a kingsize bed in their Sale back in July. The lead-time was 8 weeks but that worked for us as we were moving and it was for the new house. 8 weeks later i logged into my account as i hadn't heard anything regarding delivery, only to discover that my order had been cancelled and that they were going to contact me 'shortly'. No contact followed, no email, nothing. The only saving grace is that it looks like they didn't charge me for the product at the time of ordering. Avoid!

I placed an order with La Redoute…

I placed an order with La Redoute during one of their frequently advertised promotional campaigns for 3 items, all at 20% off. Having not had any contact for 6 weeks I logged in to see that my order status is cancelled. However, I have not been contacted to advise of this or offered a refund. Now I can see that all three items are available at full price on their website. VERY SUSPICIOUS!

I will happily go to the advertising standards agency if they do not reinstate my order as this is nothing short of fraud in my opinion.

I’ve been trying to contact costumer…

I’ve been trying to contact costumer service and no return so far. I live in Ireland and need to return my order. I already created the return order form the website,but since the address is in France, I’m no allowed to send any parcel from Ireland to France. Due to Covid regulations. Please I need a return since a refund was ordered.
Talked to La Redoute UK but they said I need to speak with laredoute.com customer service.

Positively surprised!

I saw an ad on Instagram and went to their website. Found the most beautiful duvet covers. After checking their reviews on Trustpilot I was very hesitant to order. But because I couldn’t find covers not nearly as beautiful anywhere else, I decided to order anyway and to just take the risk. I placed a second order three days later as I wanted to get an extra pair of pillow covers. Both orders were processed immediately, I was updated of the order status via email every time it changed. The duvet / pillow covers were shipped from France and both orders arrived within a week. Great quality, exactly as described and I’m super happy. Will probably order again.

It's been already more than 3 months since I have ordered shoes from this company, reference number GE29444060FR. Still didn't get them to my address. I've been calling and writing and the last reply I got from them was:

I ordered from La Redoute (Deutschland)…

I ordered from La Redoute (Deutschland) for 197 Euro of Bedding around 3 weeks ago. They took the money almost instantly, but never did send an order confirmation. Nobody answers the phone in their French head office. Today (Exactly 3 weeks) after I placed the order, they in fact cancelled the order themselves. The reason for the cancellation was because they could not fulfill the order due to stock levels... However the same products are still showing as being available on their website!

I still have not received my refund, which I was not particularly worried about - However after reading the reviews on here, it looks like I may struggle to get the refund now.

Quite shocked to find this many bad reviews, from a company that seemingly looked legitimate and professional. Mostly I'm just disappointed to start searching for bedding from elsewhere.
