The worst experience I’ve ever had. I ordered a cake, but due to an emergency, I needed to change the delivery location. I called all the way from Australia, spoke with the staff, and had the address updated. They confirmed it was changed. Still not convinced, I followed up with an email, and again they confirmed it was updated.
I selected the 6am–12pm delivery window because it was for my parents’ wedding anniversary lunch. By 2pm, nothing had arrived. When I called, they told me the cake was “with the driver” and on the way but to my shock, it was headed to the original address, not the updated one they had twice confirmed. My frustration hit the roof. How can a company operate with such irresponsibility, inefficiency, and complete disregard for customer service?
I am embarrassed to even call Lassana a Sri Lankan company. I usually order from Kapruka but decided to give Lassana Flora a chance and they failed miserably. The cake never arrived in time for the lunch party; it showed up after 4pm.
These companies depend on overseas customers. Living overseas, we rely on these e-commerce services to deliver what we pay for. This was not a cheap order over Rs. 7500 for just a cake. With such high margins, the least they could do is properly train their staff. I asked to speak to a manager none was available. In fact, I don’t even know if they have a proper office with trained staff. One call even ended with them hanging up on me because they couldn’t find a manager.
I made three international calls, each lasting over 25 minutes adding to my cost and frustration. If this company cannot run its operations properly, they should close their doors and allow someone else who can do the job right to take their place.

Wrong cake wording
Dear Lassana Flora Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent order I placed with you for my mother’s birthday. Unfortunately, the cake I received had the completely wrong wording.
The original request was for the wording “Happy Birthday Nana!”, but the cake was delivered with “Happy Birthday Rizwan” instead. This error is not only unrelated to my order but also took away from the special occasion we had planned.
When I contacted your team to rectify the mistake, I did not receive a proper response. Despite repeated calls, the cake was eventually returned to us with the same incorrect wording. It was disheartening that no effort was made to correct or adjust the issue, even in a small way.
I have attached a photo of the cake for your reference. This experience was very disappointing, especially as I trusted your services for such an important celebration.
I noticed that a Rs. 1000 gift voucher has been offered, but instead, I would sincerely appreciate it if you could send a flower plant for my mom. That gesture would truly help make up for the disappointment and mean more to her than a voucher.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously to ensure that such mistakes do not happen again in the future, as attention to detail is key in making your customers feel valued.

Delivery was scheduled 2025/08/25
8:00 am–5:00 pm, but it never arrived. Tracking showed “out for delivery” all day, and their excuse of a “vehicle breakdown” at 9:00 pm is clearly a lie. I called, messaged, and emailed — all ignored. The recipient in Sri Lanka was never informed.
This is extremely irresponsible and unacceptable. They ruined a special day, show zero accountability, and likely won’t refund without a fight. Do NOT trust this company.

Unrealistic expectations - Lack of empathy - Poor customer service.
You promised delivery on the 15th after all that crappy excuses, but now you are simply refunding my money? This is unacceptable. We deserve compensation for the opportunity we lost by choosing you as our service provider. There was no call or follow-up, and it has been 7 days without any resolution. I wish I can give them a minus stars. This guys are ridiculous. They take your money in USD when ordering from overseas though paying with Sri Lankan cards. Then we give them time frame to deliver the items. I’m still waiting to receive the items that I fully paid and it’s been 3+ hours for the time they promised. Very very bad customer service. No one answer the phone. Or reply on WhatsApp. Please don’t use them anymore. This is almost a scam.

Poor Service and Customer response
Ordered gifts and a flower bouquet for Valentines, as I have done few time prior in the recent past. The flowers started to wither the very next day (though in the website it had mentioned it’ll stay fresh for atleast 3 days).
One of the two gifts never arrived though it was promised by the delivery guy that it would be delivered the next day from Colombo.
I did contact the customer care complaints emails within the given 48 hours period about this issue. Spoke to them via the WhatsApp number and raised the issue again.
Been almost two weeks, there’s been absolutely no response from anyone till date.
No cancelation policy or refund
They don't have a cancelation method . I was sent an order and 24 hours before delivery date, as the receipient was out of her home . I contacted thier hotline as well as through email . There was no acknowledgement of the cancelation. They deliberately don't have a cancelation method so they can avoid paying a refund to the customers .
