It's quite ok
It's quite ok, although you have to pay first the bill, and they can take up to 11-14 days to give you the money back (which is quite unfair imo). Sometimes asking silly questions or delaying the process. They are not happy just with the bill, the vet has to share with you the journal so they can see all the details.
Overall for me has worked out, but it has those downsides.
It's the only one I had in Sweden, and would recommend it, but it can improve.

Loyal customer, but very disappointed – denied my claim due to a vague “waiting period”
I already have another cat insured with Lassie — never made a claim in over a year. When I added Adele to my policy on March 9, I assumed I’d be covered, just like any responsible pet owner would expect from a trusted provider.
But when Adele got sick, Lassie denied my claim, saying her symptoms began during their 14-day “waiting period.” This was never clearly highlighted during sign-up, and it feels like a technical loophole designed to avoid payouts — not something that builds trust.
As a loyal customer, I expected empathy and support. Instead, I got a cold, copy-paste response pointing me to the fine print. It makes you question what you're even paying for.
If you’re thinking of using Lassie: be aware that even if you're already a customer, they won’t have your back when it really matters.
