Delayed delivery but overall OK

I ordered a sofa from Latzio and found out quite close to the original stated delivery date (2 months after I'd ordered) that the delivery was actually going to be delayed by about three weeks. Not the end of the world, and I was given a gift voucher to make up for the delay. There were no further delays and the sofa arrived safely and was unpacked and assembled in my room of choice. As others have noted, Kate is very helpful and was good at keeping me updated.

Avoid at all costs!!!

Frankly appalling! Placed an order in Jan, have had to chase on multiple occasions and finally told they dont have my product, so have been promised a refund. That promise was made on 3rd May, yet still no refund in my account. Screams of a fraudulent business, because no company can be this incompetent and still be trading profitably. Now had to raise a fraud claim with my bank to see if that sparks them into life.

Nightmare experience!

Made an order which was supposed to arrive within ten days but never did. Cancelled the order and was told the refund would be in 14 days but here we are 19 days later and no refund. Emailed again to see what is happening but still no response. I wish I had seen these reviews first and not bothered.

I ordered a gift on the 15th of JANUARY and I have yet to receive the vase or a refund.

I have been back and forth with a woman named kate who tells me every day she has sent a message to accounts and is waiting for a confirmation of refund.

Yet to hear from them 6 months later and when I ask for an email to contact accounts personally, they apparently don’t have one ? So how is one emailing them to get me a refund?

WORST company I have had to deal with.

NO REFUND AND NO DELIVERY!

I bought a gift on Latzio website for the price of £400. I bought it in plenty of time but the suggested delivery date came and went with no update from Latzio. I had to buy a replacement gift. I contacted Latzio on 11/05/2023 to request a refund. Kate replied saying she had cancelled the order and sent the refund request to the accounts team, which would be processed within 14 days. More than a month later and despite my regular chasing, I have still not received a refund with no explanation as to the reason for the delay. As far as I can tell, this is a scam company, do not fulfil their orders and then don't issue refunds. I am seriously disappointed and would advise anyone not to buy from this company. I want my refund!

Excellent customer service

I'm delighted by the post-purchase customer service!
I lost a cable to recharge the B Bulb lights (which I have used a lot and love!). A quick email to Latzio and they were on the case and I had a new cable in just a few days. Excellent support, thank you.

order placed 4 months ago, still waiting for delivery

It is now almost 4 months since I ordered a Baobab candle from Latzio Living. I placed the order on the 14/2 and it was due early March.
I have had to continually chase Latzio Living for an update on what is happening and each time I'm given another date which passes without the order being fulfilled.
I have purchased a few items from Latzio and the delivery was very prompt, however I am now extremely disappointed how this has been handled especially as I have had to continually chase them, I would expect an update from them as to why the order is delayed. That is what I consider to be good service 🤷🏻‍♀️
I have requested a refund today. I hope it will be more prompt!

** AVOID AT ALL COSTS **

Ordered a wooden bench with a delivery date of April 18th. This date came and went without any communication and so I emailed and got told a shipment had arrived that very day! How convenient! It would be scanned in to their stock and put on next day delivery with DPD. But guess what? It wasn’t! A few days later I emailed and got told it hadn’t been on the shipment after all and they had an alternative to offer or I could have a refund. I opted for the refund as the alternative was also not in stock (there is a theme here when you read the reviews). I was told I’d have my refund within 14 days. Today is day 15 so I’ve asked for an update and been told that ‘sorry, the accounts team have been away all week so I’ve emailed them to remind them when they’re back’. Not sure that’s how consumer’s legal rights work - if the department is on holiday then it’s tough? It’s certainly not how my company works! Forgive my scepticism but I don’t believe a word of it. This company have over £100 of my money and I want it back. I would not touch this company with the proverbial barge pole.

I was concerned I will never get my…

I was concerned I will never get my order delivered but after few months it came in. The store is genuine and not a scam - they are just affected by customs delays (brits can’t blame anyone but themselves for that). Had to enquire about my order multiple times and Kate from customer care replied quickly every time. It would be helpful to get a better communication from the shop about the status of the order and unexpected delays other than courier notifications though.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE

Ordered coffee table on 10th of March and was going back and fort a bit with my decision but ended up cancelling the order for good during the same day because of the awful ratings and stories I was hearing about this company.
At first they were promising that they would refund within 14 days but just like they've said in all the other reviews: nothing happened. When 14 days had passed I contacted VISA and issued a dispute.
After 27 days I got an email from Kate telling me that they've now made the transaction and refunded the whole amount.
8 days later (including Easter) nothing had happened yet and decided to contact Kate again. I got the same answer that It would take up to X amount of working days before the whole refund would be seen in my bank account. When nothing happened I contacted VISA again and they told me that It should never in a million years take that long when talking about VISA and international transactions so ended up contacting Kate again. Customer service did sent me some sort of ''receipts'' of the so called transaction but to me It looked like something a 10 year old child could do and decided to write a review about my experiences with this company.

After publishing my review I got an email again in which they were asking If I could kindly take down my review since their customer servant had been helping me all the way, but after their latest response I decided that enough is enough and write a proper review at this time. In their latest and hopefully last email they were putting all the blame on me and telling me that next time I should put some more thinking into the process before buying such expensive things since it's very time consuming and hard for them to make refunds. So instead of them taking the responsibility of their actions, they were blaming me for cancelling my order and trying to make me feel quilty for issuing dispute and throwing a pity party for themselves because of the time and effort it would take for them to actually serve their customers.

Thank God for VISA and all the rights that customers have when using their credit card. I would say that the only thing that a customer should put some more time and effort in the future is when thinking whether or not to buy ANYTHING from this company.

No hard feelings etc. but never going to come back again as a customer. I hope that people would read these before ordering..

Before you placed the order with us, you have called us and spoke to me several times. We contacted the supplier right away when you bought the table and then you cancelled the order shortly after, then you changed your mind again a couple of hours later and wanted to keep the order, so we contacted the supplier again and shortly after you cancelled again for the second time.

Within few hours you called and emailed several times and we were backwards and forwards with the supplier in Europe even trying to get it drop-shipped from you within Europe so you could avoid any extra custom fees as oppose sending the item from UK.

We have answered all your queries promptly and I even said it takes up to a week for the card company to release the funds to us and then we will refund you, however, as the chargeback dispute was already opened, we have confirmed it and refunded you once the funds were released to us. Later on, I have also sent you a confirmation of the refund, and you came back to us saying this is not a legit confirmation and doesn't look credible. I even asked the Accounts again to login into the system and to take a screenshot for you to see that this is what we received from the banking system to prove you that it is a legit document.

We have tried our best to deliver on all aspects and if you feel that we have still not delivered sufficiently, then we do apologize for any shortcomings from our side.

I hope this message finds you well and should you feel you wish to speak to us, please do not hesitate to contact us either via email or phone and we will be more than glad to assist you with any further queries.

Do not purchase from this company

Do not purchase from this company. I had ordered a few books and was told that there’s a delay on 1 of them. After 1 month I started chasing them about my order and was told that it’s going to take longer. I waited for 2 months and still no joy. I asked for a refund and I’ve now been waiting for another 2 months and I still haven’t received it. I have called them numerous times and they kept saying that they’ll chase it up. Very disappointed with their service and would highly recommend not to shop with this company!

Do not purchase anything from this…

Do not purchase anything from this company. I ordered some bedding. Delivery estimate date came and went. No email communication so I emailed to ask where the item was to be notified the item was out of stock. Not sure how long they would have taken to notify me of this if I hadn’t emailed to query. I asked for refund to be told I could be waiting up to 4 weeks for a refund!? 3 weeks and still no refund. DO NOT purchase anything from this company

I rushed the Accounts for a refund and it has been processed on 1st April , 4 days after the request was made and on 6th April I have even sent you a refund screenshot via Email.

We never said you need to wait up to 4 weeks for a refund so your feedback is not accurate.

No product and still no refund. AVOID!

Payment for product made over a month ago, no product arrived, refund requested which has still not been received. Kate has been very good in dealing with the request but I am still out of pocket and the refund is nowhere to be seen. I would never purchase from Latzio again.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL

Absolutely appalling refund process

Nightmare with refund as mentioned numerous times below.
I was not sure whether to write this review or not because the bean bag is lovely and delivery was as promised however refund, that is a different story.
I cancelled one of my orders 06.01 and got refunded 08.03. after every week chasing, promises and being told the refund had already been processed few times. Absolutely appalling. Was not worth the hassle.
