Lawhive dealt with the selling of my Property in Felixstowe
Lawhive dealt with the selling of my property in Felixstowe. Their service was good and at a reasonable cost. At first it seemed a bit slow in registering all my details and, being an elder who is not good on digital stuff, it took me a while to get used to "the system". Also the initial flow of information was to several Lawhive members which made it a bit confusing. It was a bit difficult in not actually facing the person(s) I was dealing with but, as mentioned before, this was because I had never used such a digital system before so no fault on Lawhive.
However, the selling process was completed well and I would recommend anyone to use Lawhive.

Eight months in and still no completion
I instructed this firm on a residential conveyancing matter on 9 September 2025. As of late May 2026, the transaction still has not completed.
Throughout the process, I repeatedly asked for an estimated timescale for completion, but I was never given any clear indication of when the work might be finished. Instead, I was told that they were waiting on third parties and that, for this reason, they could not say when they would be able to complete the matter.
Despite the prolonged delays, I was also charged additional fees. When I raised concerns about the delay and asked for a refund or some form of compensation, my requests were refused. When I chased for updates or expressed concern about the lack of progress, I was told more than once that if I was unhappy I should consider instructing another solicitor.
This has been a very frustrating experience for me, and based on my experience I would be reluctant to use this firm again or recommend them to others.

Perhaps it would have been better not to post this response below. The adverb "as quickly as possible" and the verb "be assured" are not appropriate for a case that has remained unresolved for eight months. You are fundamentally exploiting information asymmetry to treat customers unfairly. In any case, my case has entered its ninth month, and as soon as it is concluded, I will proceed with legal action in accordance with my rights. In any case, please just finish my case as soon as possible.

Currently very dissatisfied.
We have paid £1,500 for a lease extension and after 7 weeks have not heard anything from our appointed solicitor. This is dispite numerous chasing emails
Lawhive themselves are no help. There is no phone number to call and they do not reply to their 'support' or 'help' emails.
I will post an update when the metter is resolved.
As it stands do not use this company.

A very efficient service
A very efficient service. i was a little apprehensive t first having not needed a solicitor in a while, then paying upfront. but once allocated my case worker- took a couple of days - Muhammad - he was very efficient, answered my questions, did his end of the deal well. Thankfully, my situation resolved itself so I didn't need to get to the going to court phase and the team were then honest about costs to that point and refunded me the balance. should i need to use a solicitor again i will be in touch. thank you team.

I set off with high hopes of this…
I set off with high hopes of this company and indeed wrote a glowing review of my initial contact with them. Since then it has all gone downhill. I arranged a contact call with the solicitor I was paired up with. I waited on Teams for 15minutes to be let into the room! At that point I was unable to proceed. I contacted the solicitor who told me she didn’t like or use Teams and sent me another link. Surprise surprise, I booked a further consultation and yet again was put into a Teams waiting room which led to the same failure to connect as previously. I then emailed the solicitor twice and am still waiting for a reply! I have now several weeks later requested a refund of the fee I paid upfront for a service I have not received. The delay has been most unhelpful as I am very stressed about the issue I was trying to contact the company about.
