I've been sourcing my wines from Lea & Sandeman for years, always under the trusted guidance of Angus.

His recommendations never miss the mark, and Lea & Sandeman offer a fantastic selection that spans the globe.

What truly impresses me is Angus's knack for pairing wines seamlessly with whatever food I'm grilling over the coals.

I have been a customer for about half a decade now.

I find their in store range and customer service to be exceptional across all branches. Archie in Kensington went above and beyond, waiting outside the closed shop with my perfectly chilled bottle of champagne when I was running very late on a hot summer’s day last year!

The Private Client team is also amazing. Unlike many other wine merchants, they are very approachable and always on hand to assist. Nothing is ever too much, with staff taking the time to give genuine recommendations and answer any questions one may have on fine wines, cellar planning, wine brokerage, en primeur offers and the like.

Whether it’s a casual TGIF bottle on the way home from work, curating the cellar of your dreams or inflation beating wine investments, I wholeheartedly recommend Lea & Sandeman for the job!

I don't leave many reviews, but I felt compelled to do purely because I receive excellent service every time I have dealt with Lea & Sanderman.

I've been a trade customer of L&S since 2017, and they are an integral partner to my gifting business.
My main contact is Angus. He has always been so generous with his time, knowledge and help. Whenever I have a question, he gets back to me promptly and always goes above and beyond.

But that is the case with everyone I have met at L&S.

I regularly pick up from the High Street Kensington branch - Sandor and Archie are always so welcoming and friendly. And even the delivery drivers, Mike and his team are so lovely - cannot rate their service highly enough.

L&S regularly put on some incredible Trade tasting events, with some amazing wineries. I couldn't ask for a better supplier.

In a world where every wine is 90+ rated, the experience, recommendations and honest feedback initially from Charles and more recently from Jack C are incredibly helpful to me.

Jack's own experience with his wine making and his broader experience in the wine world gives him a good base for recommendations and he recognises what I enjoy in a wine and recommends accordingly.

A long standing customer and cannot praise the service highly enough. Brilliant personal service and an outstanding selection of wines to suit all tastes and budgets.

Lea & Sandeman have a well selected list of wines, but there appears to be a culture of complacency undermining their competence - perhaps the royal warrant has gone to their heads. I have bought Bordeaux en primeur three times, and on each occasion a niggle. First time round, a slipshod response to payment. Second time the wine was supplied in cardboard cartons when wooden cases had been specified. Now third time unlucky, they have waited till 2 weeks after the rate rise before invoicing duty & VAT instead of organising shipment in the customers' interest more promptly (as The Wine Society was perfectly able to do).

I have purchased many wine diver the years, for the first time my wife went into the chiswick branch this evening, she was after a bottle of champagne for her colleague, which to her surprise the shop assistant was very rude and made her feel very intimidated

Exemplary service. I had a problem, of my own making, with my first order. I contacted the merchant and they could not have been more helpful. Their efficiency, courtesy and effectiveness in dealing with and expediting my order was excellent and their service cannot be faulted. A breath of fresh air. I shall certainly buy from them again.

I wanted to buy a wine that Lea & Sandeman had listed on a price comparison website. When I went on to Lea & Sandeman's own website their price was fractionally higher. I spoke to them to see whether they would reduce it back to the price they had listed on the other website and give a discount for two cases and they said they would come back to me. They then increased the price on their website by £35 per case and denied having done it and refused to sell me the wine unless I paid the extra.

I have bought from them over many years and will not do so again.
