Gary arrived punctually and a charming guy!

Gary arrived punctually after making contact on his way to us. Charming helpful knowledgeable guy! Replaced the faulty part quickly and very cleanly. Tidied up straight way and ran a complete test of the whole house water system. Excellent! Highly recommend Leakbot! Their customer support is also outstanding!

LeakBot provides an excellent service through a very easy‑to‑use app that gives homeowners early warning of potential leaks. LEAK NOT DETECTED

The Engineer that attended site was Tom and he was great. The downside and the reason for only 3 stars is that the Leakbot device didn’t notify me of the leak, I found it myself. It was a leak from a pipe that feeds a toilet and was leaking onto tiles under which was electric matting for underfloor heating. Could have been disastrous if we’d been on holiday. In addition the Leakbot keeps losing signal, albeit ours is in the cellar. The plus side is the repair was free of charge so that’s a bonus. I’m not convinced this gadget is infallible as yet.

Fast, efficient, and painless

Trevor and the LeakBot team made the entire experience easy and fast. They diagnosed the issue and fixed it the same day; all for free. This is exactly how it should be. I highly recommend this team and thank you Nationwide’s for providing these services, included with my insurance.

Warning: Do Not use if your home has a RO filter system

The LeakBot was provided by insurance company. From the first day installed it has continuously generated false alarms. LeakBot kept contacting me wanting to send out a plumber. I told LeakBot nothing is leaking. LeakBot refused to believe me. To prove nothing was "leaking" I turned off my RO filtration system and the false alarms ended. Turned the RO system back on and more false alarms. LeakBot continues to deny anything is wrong with the product. LeakBot has no fix for false alarms triggered by RO systems.

LeakBot is designed to detect continuous water flow, and it does work with properties that have reverse osmosis (RO) systems installed. In some cases, if an RO system is drawing water continuously due to a fault or internal issue, this can appear to LeakBot as a potential leak and will trigger a leak alert.

From what you’ve described, turning the RO system off stopping the alerts does suggest that the system may currently be drawing water in a way that’s being detected as continuous flow. You have mentioned to us that you’re planning to install a new RO system, and if this resolves the underlying issue, your LeakBot should return to a leak-free status once it’s in place.

If, however, the alerts continue after the new system is installed, we would recommend arranging a visit from one of our trained plumbers to carry out a full check of the property. These visits are provided free of charge through your insurance provider, and we’d be happy to help get that organised for you.

Really good service

Really good service. From talking on the phone through to the engineer who came to check the whole system it was all very efficient and well explained. Didn’t have to wait more than a couple of days for the appointment either.

Great customer service!

The appointment was set easily and Daniel, the service technician, was friendly, thorough and professional. He was able to locate a small leak and repair it the same day!! Nice having a device like LeakBot to alert to leaks, especially small ones, before they become a big problem.
