Did 10 hour private lessons for a week. My Spanish greatly improved. Social events every evening. Located in a great location. Teachers are very friendly.

Mundo Antiguo is such an amazing place to learn Spanish and experience life in Cusco. I did 20 hours private lessons over 1 week at the end of a holiday in Peru. I learned so much in that time, it was a challenging but enjoyable and very effective learning experience. I managed to cover irregular present and simple future and past all in one week. My teachers (Jimi and Vanessa) were awesome. They pushed me to learn and improve but also were flexible, and I also enjoyed how I was able to learn a lot about the life of a typical Cusquenian through out conversations.

Aside from the great lessons, the school creates a very friendly, family-like environment. New students are introduced to the rest of the class at the end of the week and the packed events programme gives you the chance to further practice your Spanish and meet great people. I particularly enjoyed the language exchange with locals and the fruit tasting. Thanks so much Ninosks for all your hard work to create such fun events.

Would love to come back at some point, and would highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn Spanish, meet people from a range of nationalities, and to be challenged and have fun! There’s little I could fault.

Really great Spanish school! Feels like a family.

Awesome experience. My teachers were great and explained things very well. The resources provided were great and allowed me to continue studying independently after leaving the school. I feel my spanish has improved significantly despite only studying for one week. The activities in the evenings were also excellent for socialising with fellow students, staff, and locals alike. I particularly enjoyed the football and language exchange with locals.

I learned Spanish here for 5 weeks and I loved it!

The whole concept is just great. I had 4 hours of lessons a day in a small group of a maximum of 4 people. After two hours there is a break and the teacher changes so that you stay fresh and concentrated. The teachers do everything to make the lessons interesting and fun, little games, walks through the city and much more. In general, I was very surprised by the teachers and their skills.

I’m this school you are welcomed in a family atmosphere. it’s located in the most beautiful part of the city, with all these small streets, cafes and shops.

Learning can be so much fun ;-)

Very profesional and perfectly organized. They have groupe and private classes and do everything to match your requirements, if they can. Well educated profesors who understand the problems of foreign students.
Mundo Antiguo also offers an every day off the lessons program to learn about the peruanan culture such as dancing classes, intercambio in order to get in contact with locals and organize culinary events e.x. fruit and potato tastings.
The host families are well chosen and interact proactively with the students. I higly recomend Mundo Antigua Spanish School.

The best Spanish language school! A wonderful and family atmosphere, great people, professional and excellent teachers (we were taught by two teachers - both fantastic Cynthia and Miquel). The school is beautifully located in the iconic San Blas district. We studied at school for two weeks - me and my teenage son. We are both delighted with the school and happy that we ended up there. We also really liked the afternoon integration meetings, which allowed us to practice the language, but also to learn more about Peruvian culture. Everything was perfectly organized by the amazing Ninoska. We regret that we can no longer study at school. This is our best travel experience so far. We started from scratch with the language, and now we can communicate and understand a lot. Thank you all very much!!

I did Spanish clases at this school for six weeks and couldn’t recommend it enough!
Lessons, school grounds, social activities each day (gracias Ninoska<3), staff and teachers etc. were all amazing, don’t have anything bad to say..
The home stays are a great way to get to learn the culture and language of Peru and Cusco- I was staying with Norma Patricia’s family, very comfortable and heart warming
experience, will cherish my time with them forever and would definitely recommend staying here<3
You will likely meet many, lovely people, many student come and go through the weeks.
Overall, amazing school, and learnt a lot of Spanish!

Mundo Antiguo school was so much fun! Amazing teachers, really well organised, great events every evening, couldn't have asked for more! Ninoska was an excellent host, and super friendly. I stayed in a homestay with the Delia family, who made the week even better, they we're so lovely!

Mundo Antiguo was the most kind and welcoming school. During the time I was studying here I became unwell and the owners and staff were nothing but supportive. The teachers here are also excellent and patient. Muchas Gracias Koen, Carina, José, Diego, Ninoska y Melissa por su amabilidad ❤️

My husband and I completed a week of Spanish lessons here and the teachers were amazing! The lessons are engaging and there are lots of extra activities too. I highly recommend learning here!

The teachers at Mundo were very kind and welcoming. My children enjoyed their teacher a lot. They sang songs, played games and learned a lot in the two weeks we were there. My teacher was patient and fun. At the end of our 2 weeks, we received certificates, which my children really loved. I would recommend this school for anyone wanting to learn Spanish!

The school's teachers were all dedicated to helping their students learn Spanish well and quickly. The school also has activities every evening for students to mix with each other and locals. The location of the school is excellent, right in the heart of the historic district.

This was an amazing experience for me. I so very much enjoyed all of the people that I encountered at this school. The teachers and staff were always attentive, supportive, and great at helping me improve my Spanish. Classes, for me, lasted 8 weeks.This 8 weeks just flew by. I was very sad to have my time at the school finally end, but I was so thankful for the people and the experience I had.

My husband and I just completed 3 weeks at Mundo Antiguo in August. Despite being 30-35 years older than most other students, we had a great experience! The administrative staff was excellent. They answered the many questions we had promptly and enthusiastically. Our instructors (Vanesa and Jimmy) were great! They mixed conversation with grammar and gently corrected our many mistakes. We had a couple of lessons that included walking around Cusco and learning history. They included music and playing cards in the lessons. Our Spanish improved substantially while we were there. The school has fun activities for the students including eating together at restaurants, salsa dancing, food tastings, Andean flute playing, karaoke in Spanish, and others. Ninoska was a great organizer and helped everyone feel comfortable. Our home stay was very nice. Marina cooked us delicious meals and helped us with our Spanish. Cusco is a vibrant city with lots to do and see! I highly recommend this school!

It was the best decision that I could take, to come in this school and not an other one!
I started from zéro, and after 5 weeks I'm around level A2 and can talk with spanish.
The teachers at the school are really nice, and like to teach in a plaesant way. Every day I could hear laughs from the classes. But it was also very intense.
The school arranged me a stay in a so nice family stay. I had health issues and were my best support. And talk with me in spanish to help progressing.
The school has a travel agency that comes every day one hour to book tours
They also have a social coordinador, the best once. Every night activities are organized, also with local peruvianos.
You can't get bored !!

I highly recommend Mundo Antiguo Spanish School, it is a great school for Spanish language program. The teachers and staff are comprehensive, awesome, encouraging, engaging including social activities with a good balance. The school also made arrangements for my home stay with my host family and I loved my stay with them. Although, my language program was short I am looking forward in the future to come back for a longer program with the school. I highly recommend the school to anyone seeking educational Spanish language program.

I would absolutely recommend Mundo Antiguo to anyone and everyone!! I had an amazing experience there. All the teachers are so skilled and friendly. My Spanish improved sooo much in just 3 weeks of classes! I liked that I got to try out different teachers, the group classes were really small, and there were many fun games/activities that made the classes more engaging. I also did a Homestay and really enjoyed my experience with that as well. The family was so kind and welcoming, made me delicious meals, and helped me practice my Spanish. All of the after school activities are really fun and a nice way to make friends with other students at the school. Overall, I think Mundo Antiguo is a really well organized Spanish school with teachers and administration staff who really care.
