DO NOT GO HERE! Terrible School. Wish I read the reviews beforehand. Unfortunately I booked a package deal with the school so had to complete multiple courses with them. Unprofessional and poor quality instructors. Classes starting late because instructors not turning up for hours, other students failing the class due to not having been taught all what was in the exam and having to pay resit fees.

I passed my final course over 4 months ago and still have not received certification. After numerous phone calls and emails I found out it was because they had not paid City & Guilds and pocketed the money themselves. AVOID!

Absolutely shocking service!
I had a City & Guilds training booked with them. I paid the deposit and after initial verification of my experience they proceed with the training and took the full payment. Then for three months I was hearing about tutor being on holiday, off sick and other excuses. Finally, they have told that my experience is inadequate for the training and they cannot proceed. When I asked for the refund they did refund the amount less of the deposit.
It has been six months since I am trying to get my money back! They say deposit is nonrefundable even when they cancel your training!
Robbing people. Do not leave your money with them!

Been trying to book the AM2 course for two weeks and had to chase them every step of the way - shocking customer services - forgot to send me NET approval forms out then when I sent in, got an email off office manager(Mic) saying they weren’t complete when I spoke to his colleague he found them straight away and they were complete.

Only just received an email after calling and emailing today 31/03/22 saying the assessor is suddenly ill and the course is cancelled- personally think because they have forgot to submit forms on, it’s too late to be put on course, no way will I be paying nearly £1000 to this company for a course - they couldn’t organise a £10 course!

Recently attended the 2391-52 course at Potters Bar. The tutor (Wendy) was excellent, she is very knowledgeable and helpful. The course is challenging but was also interesting and made to be enjoyable.

I would recommend this course to any electrician looking to take the 2391. They also provide lunch which is a nice touch.

I’ve completed the Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses accredited with the City & Guilds 2079, Pipework and Brazing. All I can say it’s that it is a fantastic organisation! Great from beginning to end of the course. The team are really informed and go the extra mile at every stage. The course it’s compact, easy to understand, very fast and reliable with the certificate. I enjoyed learning. I came across very useful and constructive information through this course.I would suggest this course to anyone who wants to put steps into air conditioning and refrigeration. I would recommend them unreservedly. P.S.: thank you Tim for your hard work!

I’ve just done my Inspection and Testing
course at the Potters Bar branch and would not of passed if it wasn’t for Wendy (our tutor) I’ve never had a lecturer put so much effort into teaching their students . Nothing was a problem for Wendy.

weather it was learning the equations or the regs , or guidance notes 3 or going over the testing
you couldn’t of asked for better tutor

Wendy puts her heart and soul into teaching you how to do it correctly and safely

I’ve been a sparky for over 30 years and I’ve learnt so much in one week from Wendy and doing the 2391 at technique in Potters Bar

I have now completed the Electrical Inspection & Testing Course (PAT). This was an excellent course and our tutor, Keith was outstanding in the way he conducted the course and how he supported us in the classroom. Help was always there to hand when required. Which was required at times due to the course being very hard especially if you only know a small amount of knowledge of electrical installations. So I suggest that you really get revising for the exam because its an 80% chance of passing only, with 50 questions. It took me two attempts to pass. If it wasn't for the knowledge and help supplied by our tutor Keith, I don't think that I would have achieved passing this course. So yes I enjoyed the course.
Thanks for all the help Keith (your a star) and for the admin staff for all there help and quick e-mail reply's.
I'm just waiting for my certificate now so that I can get going.

Do not use learn technique for the f gas course. I completed mine with them back in march. It is now nearly 12 weeks on and still no certificate i have rang them constantly for over 2 weeks to get no reply eventually i had communication with there training manager who has said the best way to get certified is to retake through city and guilds not BESA. I have contacted BESA a number of times who have advised the training centre is holding back certificate. AVOID unless you want to be out of pocket with no certificate..........

Excellent course and tutor. I would like to start off by saying that Wendy (our tutor) has vast knowledge/experience in the field. She explains in an easy to understand way and dedicates time to each of the students. The course was exhaustive and learnt more than expected. They also provided lunches which was a nice touch, they were good, filling and there was a choice every day. Wendy went over the schedule to do more examples with us and you can see she takes pride in what she does. I feel like I've left the course knowing so much more than before and am glad I've picked this one. This being said, it is a hard course and you have to have previous knowledge of electrical installations to be able to chance at passing the exam.

I was looking for a college to pass my initial verification and inspection and test for electrical installation and a friend referred me to Potter bar centre which I found it’s very good specially the tutor which was experienced , patient and very educated, I’m so happy with this centre and will recommend anyone who want to get their certificate to register with then.

Very Happy with the course material and the how the instructor broke it all down to us. Wendy was very helpful and took time to make sure we all got the information we needed, even tho we were all working at different speeds. I would highly recommend Wendy and Technique Learning Solutions to anyone looking to improve their knowledge on these subjects. 2391-52

Booked 2 employees on a BS5839 Fire Course, seemless booking, great location and information received prior to the day of the course fantastic.

Engineers fully enjoyed the course, informative, hands on, and definitely worthwhile.

I just finished my air conditioning and refrigeration course then took on the 18th edition and 2391-52 with learntechnique. The tutors are all extremely knowledgable and absolutely brilliant. I passed all my exams thanks to Pete, Andy and Wendy.

BEWARE ELECTRICIANS PLUMBERRS AND TRADEMAN NEVER GIVE THEM A DEPOIST. After waiting many months and a deposit taken, I tried to book a 1-day updater course for 3 people. I was told it is possible and I expressed I was keen to do the course. Micky told an invoice would be sent for me to pay. After hours the wrong invoice was sent. The places needed were not to be had. They could not get it correct from the start. These are the biggest bunch of clowns I have ever dealt with. I feel conned, let down and driven to the point of despair, that this outfit, is the worst I have ever come across. DO NOT USE THEM

I booked a course city and guilds 2392 on 2nd of july 2017 they called me up and said the course is cancelled because the teacher is going on holiday i said okay no problem please refund my money they didnt want to and refused to answer me i got the course on a credit card so i had to pay interest i hired a solicitor wrote a pre-action letter to take them to Money Claims Court they got afraid and refunded my money on 11th September 17 i would not recommend this college as they try anything to take your money and if you made a mistake in booking with them seek legal advise immediately they also try will try anything to say oh you got the wrong company you did not book with us and try to remove there bad reviews
