​My name is Daniel Leme, and I am a tenant with Lease For Life. I'm writing this after the fact, with the full context of their deceit.
​I lived with a dead boiler, rat infestation, and pervasive mold—a clear, prolonged breach of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985. The company, particularly director Lisa, ignored these dangers for months.
​When I finally lost my temper and caused property damage—an action that was wrong and resulted in a Magistrates' Court Notice of Financial Penalty—the company used this criminal matter as their sole defence to cover their civil failures.
​Key Facts They Concealed:
​The Court Notice is NOT an Eviction: The penalty I am paying to Lisa is for criminal damage. It does not give them a legal right to evict me or prevent me from living in the property. Their public claim that I was "formally removed" and was not permitted to return was a lie, which they used to mislead others and justify their negligence.
​Privacy Violation: They breached my privacy by publicly discussing my engagement with the NHS mental health care team. This is completely unacceptable behaviour for a professional housing group.
​This company prioritizes personal attacks and legal maneuvering over their basic duty to provide safe housing. I was forced to live in a hazard zone while they focused on covering their tracks. Avoid them.

i have just started working with lease for life to help me secure a suitable family home. The replys are quick and efficient and i cant wait to see what my future housing holds as i know they will do a great job!

One of the worse estate agents ever . Do not trust them . They are shysters . Do not trust Karen Bain she's a snake. By all means stay far far away from them she will only care for your money then bye bye. You will be house in drug dens, ex murderers flats , killers . Rather be homeless than renting with them .she care more about her appearance and her son and her staff. Do not trust them .speak to the council first and search them up. Company house . Citizens advise. They are not welcome or used with many council. Be careful. Do not trust them at all. Most of these reviews are fake or tennants who just moved in. I was happy when I first moved . Karen , Lisa, Debbie, promised so much then after I moved in was like a bomb. They disseminate. They are shysters . They only care for money from the council from mother and child . Do not trust them by all mean . If they offer you a flat in Brookhill road woolich , be assured , its very dangerous, its a converted house to flats. The noise are horrendous from upstairs as a man call Geroge sublet the upstairs for like 12 and 16 people living there. The electricity is upstairs so you cannot access it. Every one does drugs and smoke weed on the street. They play loud music. Arm police been there 4 times like 50 of then while I was there with guns etc. The police will say to you do not move there . There are police always coming and going as its a dead end road and very dangerous. Someone got killed and stabbed recently .You cannot leave door open or anything outside people will walk in druggies and also take what's in from your flat garden remember the people upstairs will trow there rubbish on your garden . The noise from upstairs and your neighbours is unbelievable Karen will never tell you this she doesn't care or give a toss as shes a nasty disgusting person .There are drunks living there ,upstairs its crazy and on the streets.
