Wonderful experiences both online and offline!
In the span of two months, I have ordered from Leather4craft three times and I had the chance to meet the team in person earlier this week, and all four experiences have been absolutely amazing!
• The online part
They have a lovely selection of affordable leathers allowing everyone who is interested in getting into the hobby to do so without breaking the bank, and their fast and free shipping never disappoints!
• The "in-person" part
On Wednesday, I made the trip from London to Newhaven to attend one of their workshops. The first great thing to note is that they are very conveniently located, which makes it a very quick and easy walk from the Newhaven Harbour station to the shop.
The workshop itself was a lot of fun and I can't thank Sarah enough for making it such a tailored, wonderful experience for me, despite my clumsiness. I learned a lot from her, and I ended up buying some of the tools we used afterwards, to continue to apply what she taught me. Thanks to her, my mum will get an incredible, very personalised present for her upcoming birthday, so I'm really grateful to her for going above and beyond to make that possible!
After the workshop was over, I stayed in the shop for a while to buy some leather and materials, and I want to give my most heartfelt thanks to Stephen and his team for assisting me with my purchases while they were also busy with their regular work. They were on the receiving end of what I like to call my "ADHD shopping frenzy", but they bore it with a lot of fortitude and professionalism 😆
My current haul should last me for a while, but I'll definitely look forward to ordering more online, or even going in and doing some IRL shopping with them again!
It is for all of those reasons and more that Leather4craft will always be the first place in the UK I will turn to for my leather-related purchases.
