Nice house and quiet environment

Nice house and quiet environment. The owner was very welcoming and helpful to make us feel comfortable. All the family had a good time. Really appreciated the 4 hours of cleaning per day included.
4/5 review because of two small inconveniences : cameras in certain areas inside so not ideal for privacy and the sound isolation within the house was limited.
However, overall I would recommend to stay in this house.

The Villa was beautiful

The Villa was beautiful, positioned with a direct view over the sea with all facilities. We had 8 teenagers so the communal pool was used a lot. The concierge experience was professional and helpful. Marta who met us was lovely and very helpful.
Two downsides - the music system for the terrace/dining room did not work during our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy music in the communal area. Also the parking on the road/pavement was difficult and I ended up scratching the people carrier vehicle bodywork (which proved expensive). Probably ok for a smaller vehicle.
Overall it was a great Villa and we had a lovely holiday

The Le Collectionist team is…

The Le Collectionist team is wonderful!! They were so helpful for planning, and even throughout the trip were there to guide and help us even more. We will for sure be utilizing their services again. The trip my family went on was the best trip we've ever been on together, thanks to them!

Fantastic property

Fantastic property. We went as a family group of 15 with mixed aged children mainly teenage. The pool is amazing and the addition of a pádel court was inspired. They played constantly! The villa is very well equipped and well maintained. Very helpful team at the villa and through booking.

ZERO STARS FOR THIS VERY POORLY RUN COMPANY

I would give this very young company zero stars if I could! I concur with others here in the response that you get from the very young and in my view inexperienced staff. It only looks after the villa owner's interests and not at all concerned with the customers, who they dismiss major problems as "inconveniences!"
There was a cat in the property called Villa Leger or Wheatfield Estate, depending upon which agency you use to rent, despite assurances that it would not be there . The Swimming pool was NOT heated despite the ability to do so. Appliances were NOT as advertised and had three nights of zero sleep with banging shutters not tied down. The property was NOT suitable for young children nor anyone with any physical problems at all,.
They only offer vouchers for yet another disaster holiday with them !
I have rented many luxury villas ,including my own worldwide and have never encountered such an appalling interaction with this very young company and the rude owners, who were even worse, with no apologies and no rectification.
I note they have now changed their website deleting many items or wording following our visit !
DO NOT USE THEM IS MY ADVICE FOLLOWING MANY, MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD.
There are many more professional companies who will look after customers as well as the Villa owners.
We are currently commencing legal action against this very badly run company, which misled and misinformed us on nearly everything at or in the villa.

Disappointing Experience – Misleading “Discount”

I recently rented a villa in Greece through The Collectionist. As it was a last-minute booking, I asked if there was any chance of a discount on the 5-bedroom property. The Collectionist team came back saying they had negotiated a discount for me, which I appreciated at the time.

However, upon arrival, I was informed by the property manager that only the main house (3 bedrooms) would be available to my family, the two guest houses would be locked. This was a complete surprise. When I contacted The Collectionist, they explained that this was part of how the “discount” had been arranged and that I should have read the contract better before signing.

In the end, I had to pay full price to access the entire property, as I had friends staying for a few days and needed the extra space. Let’s be clear: a discount means a reduced price for the same product, not charging less for giving less. That’s not a discount, it’s a partial offering.

Throughout the process, I felt the team was more focused on accommodating the villa owner than supporting me as the client. Communication was unhelpful, and frankly, I felt like I was constantly begging.

All in all, a very disappointing experience. I expected far better service from a company that claims to offer luxury rentals.

We’re truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few important elements regarding your booking.

The discount you received was based on the initial group composition you provided (three adults and one baby). It applied to a reduced configuration of the property, with access to the main house only, as specified in the contract and accepted by both you and the owner.

Upon arrival, you informed us that additional guests would be joining you. In response, and as a gesture of goodwill, we negotiated with the owner to open one of the guest houses at no extra cost, even though this went beyond the original agreement.

Later in your stay, a further request was made to open the second guest house to accommodate more guests. This significantly altered the scope of the stay and required the owner’s approval, who, understandably, requested an additional fee for this extension of access and services.

We understand that this situation was frustrating, but it stemmed from a change in guest numbers that had not been communicated prior to your arrival. Our team did its best to adapt in real time and facilitate a fair outcome for all parties involved.

We regret that you felt unsupported and hope we can have the opportunity to provide a more seamless experience in the future.

Perfection!

Not only was the villa beautiful and well appointed, the team was incredibly hospitable, warm and thoughtful. Not what we expected for this price

The holiday home we rented was beautiful but did not feel like a home, more an event location with a bar as a kitchen and only high chairs, no lounge area. We asked for daily cleaning and dishwashing after our dinner, but we were a little surprised that the owner of the house was the one doing the cleaning, making it a bit awkward. We had to use the same towels and bed linnen for the whole week. There was no airconditioning in the house, which we knew before we booked but it was 30 degrees in the bedrooms the night we arrived and there are also no fans available. The location of the house was however perfect. But if I compare value for the money we paid, it’s a 3 star experience.

Excellence from beginning to end

We highly recommend Le Collectionist. Our stay in St. Remy was spectacular. The Villa surpassed our expectations: gorgeous, clean, well-tended to. The concierge service is outstanding!! All our needs were met pre and during our stay with two different fantastic concierges. Our concierge during our stay, Athalane Perrot, was particularly excellent! We had 17 family members with us to celebrate a milestone birthday. Athalane made sure every elements went smoothly from the chef services, to table design, even decorating our "disco" space in the Villa herself. Athalane adjusted several events that we previously booked with Ines, to meet the needs of our family. The cleaning help and grounds help also did an amazing job anticipating our every needs. Our chef's prepared dinners were beyond delicious and all accommodations were made for our culinary preferences. We highly recommend booking with Le Collectionist! We already will be going back next year!!
