Your traffic system is absolutely abysmal. I got fined for going into a bus lane - about two inches of my car went over the lines, as seen by the CCTV picture. This is a city that is full of road works and one way systems. It's shyte. At least in my city you get a first warning and any further violations you get fined.....which I think is fair. This is just money making exploitation. One star is being generous!!!!

I am a Landlord. I phoned Leeds City Council to deal with 2 properties. The day before, I phoned in the afternoon and was 44 in the que. I availed of the facility for a call back. Unsurprisingly. I did not receive any.
Yesterday, I phoned again and was very fortunate to get Oyinkansola to deal with my situation.. She was very informative, helpful and patient. I hope her line manager gets to read this. She is an asset and I hope she gets my review added to her personnel file

On the other hand, Jacobs Enforcement Agents are just a disgrace. I will be filing a complaint against them.

I rang the Out of Hours Noise Nuisance & Anti Social Behaviour Team tonight over a student house opposite my apartment having a garden party with very loud music which carried on after 11pm . And within 5 mins of me ringing them the officers went round and got the 50 students to turn the music off and leave the property.

Amazing result and cannot thank the council enough .

Zero stars review Complaint about the sexist, misogynistic and chauvinistic bin man calling me "love" if I was working with him it would be a grievance if that didn't happen due to poor management at Leeds City it would be an employment tribunal.

Talking down to a woman is illegal under The Equality Act 2010.

He stated alright then started to laugh it's not a funny matter is sex discrimination with the his sexist comment calling me "love" it's quite clear that the manager's at Leeds City Council can't do their jobs at.

It's not alright at all.

Really appalling council.
They've put council tax up by an extortionate amount and there is very little in return.
I frequently see rats on the streets of Leeds. The bin collectors are poorly trained and will miss bins at the drop of a hat. The streets are rarely cleaned.
If anyone else took money from the public like this, it would be labelled robbery.

I spoke with Ash on the general helpline. He was very helpful, professional and courteous, given that I wanted information about 3 different things across 2 different departments. If I have any more questions, I hope I get to speak with Ash again.

No wonder the review rating here is so poor. Is anyone even looking at them and responding. Simply put don’t expect anything from this council other than shoddy service, theft, lies, and when you attempt to ring customer complaints to be on hold for ages then immediately cut off - repeatedly ! If I could give zero stars I would.

i am 66 this year while i was in hospital i broke my back so when came out i could not go to the flat i had been for 11 year the council offered me a bungalow which i was not happy with and i was told by the housing officer it this or nothing the bungalow was in disrepair. i was having work done ? when i heard the how was doing the job say to some one on his phone if you cant fix it bodge it thats what i do. my wet floor is slopping toward the hall way so far on one as fixed it as it need a new floor putting down.
i am disable so the council don't care
this bungalow was built in the 50 as temporary accommodation
if i could afford to move i would and this is why they don't care if they stepped wasting money by having it done right in the first

●I just want the same standards of service and respect from the staff as all your other library customers,because that is what I am.Do the library staff think that with their mocking,humouring words they are putting me in my place? No,because I never lost my place.I am authentic and speak directly with everyone.I have asked you multiple times to email me not phone re: My Stage 2 complaint escalation but you have not despite being informed of my lung infection.

Did e mail to leeds council re my rent increasefor april in late february.No reply or acknowledgement .So tried to ring 3 times and despite long menu of options eventually got in queue .Waited 30 mins and then cut off.Did this twice.
A really poor experience.if they had any sense or organised they must know this is bust time of year and allocate staff and have adequate telephone system.A poorer example for leeds gov and city.Very amateur and way behind times .needs to get upto date or sack a few staff.

so its now been over 4 month since leeds city council broke my gas boiler and left me without heating or hot water they are refusing to fix what they have broken

Recently I went to a friends 70th Birthday party-in Leeds, a few days later I received a penalty notice for driving in a Bus lane, I'm a 75 year old disabled driver who as shopped in Leeds since 1961, several years ago I stopped driving into Leeds because all the disabled parking spaces that I used frequently have been removed and the road layout as been altered beyond recognition so I appealed to the relevant authority on the grounds mentioned above, however my appeal as been denied because my reason for appealing was not a good enough reason for cancelling the find.
The fact that I was stressed because nothing was familiar to me any more and that I could not find my way to the restaurant was the cause of my missing the sign for the bus lane, but it's obvious that this was not taken into consideration.

Totally hopeless when it comes to communicating with council tenants.
All they want is your rent but ignore your emails and I've witnesses with my own eyes a council worker fly tipping so what hope is there

The Leeds city council are only thinking about there pockets, I've been complaining about the void under my property and now I've found out my walls are not insulated, when asking the council to fix these issues with other things the first thing the council comes out with within less then 5 seconds of finishing your sentence is we don't have the money for it. But they have money to spend 1,000 new laptops which has been reported to cost £260,000.00 pounds but to fix the issues at mosts even with a high end new front door £10,000.00 pounds and ontop of that agree on a business agreement to compensate the private developer after making old direct line building in city centre.

The Leeds city council are lairs, agreed tyrants.
