Booked a call out for my 85 year old mother in law, they came out very quickly said the drain was blocked with fat then proceeded to charge £866.76 to
Clear it.He said the costs were for use of equipment which apparently is not included in the £92.50/half hour rate.
He was one guy on his own for 50mins.
Feel an old lady has been taken advantage of!

Prompt service and came out on the day I called, but the cost of the service was extortionate. As someone else has mentioned, the cost of just over an hour's work to clear a blocked pipe cost £1150. Lots of hidden costs which were not mentioned.

Came out quickly and cleared a complicated foul drain blockage, but over £1000 of undisclosed costs at the end of it all.

Called to get someone to come out and clear out a semi-blocked drain. All I wanted was for someone to jet wash the pipe and be done with it. I called on a Thursday morning and was told someone would be round the following morning. I called again to mention I didn’t have access via the garden and no external water and he assured me someone would be out the following morning.

No one came the following morning, so at 4pm I called and asked if someone was coming. He was out at the time but told me he’d call back to rearrange (gave me a poor excuse of ‘I tried to contact twice’ but I had no missed calls).

Never called me back.

Quite frankly, if you don’t want the job, just say. Don’t waste my time. I’ve now called DynoRod out to do the job but my issue could’ve been fixed last week had they have been honest!
