The order process was very easy. The boxes arrived in a timely manner. The instructions were easy to follow. The updates provided at each step of the process was great. The conversion to digital was within the stated time and the final product was great.

Support nonexistent, but well packaged and originals well preserved

This is the second time I have used Legacy Box. On the positive side, all my originals were well preserved and packaged. The second time I used the Rush processing and they were delivered quickly. On the negative side, the first time I ordered 50 items transferred in August and did not receive the transfers until right before Christmas with lots of nagging. This time one of my tapes transferred as blank, but I could play on a cassette tape player. I reached out to the company to request a refund for it and received no answer. I also tried to share the digitized copies with family and could not. I again reached out to the company 2 different times, but no answer after several weeks.

Quick nice response from their representative here on trustpilot, but still haven't gotten a response to my emails from the company a week later. Resubmitted my emails and we'll see....

Another 7 days and still no response from Legacy Box.

Regarding the tape that appeared blank, our process is a one-to-one transfer, meaning we digitize exactly what is present on the original media. That said, we’d still want to take a closer look, especially since you were able to view content on your end.

For sharing, customers receive their files via the Cloud, where you can share direct links to your videos or have family and friends log into your account to access them.

Love the results!

Love the whole process. It was quick and easy. The only quirk is pricing. You have to be a good shopper and look for the bargain, because the first price you see isn’t the best price available. In other words, the pricing is not as transparent as it could be. Other than that, be a smart shopper and you will love the rest of the process and product.

Very happy with my old films turned into videos.

Everything was easy to do from start to finish. My only negative feedback would be the pricing was all over the place, text or emails constantly for sales. Never knew when to order if tomorrow deal would of been better. I did like that you gave stickers with discount price in original order. Sharing videos easy.

Legacy Box was quick to correct their errors

Legacy Box worked to secure my original videos with shipping arrangements and sturdy boxes. I had some video cassettes digitized and they did a very great job. I enjoy watching them. When I received the digitized version back, I noted that several videos were messed up during conversion to digital. I communicated with LB customer service who needed confirmation they had messed up but then quickly sought to re-process the messed up videos. I appreciate a company who quickly responds to consumer complaints to correct their errors. I will recommend LB to others because they demonstrated quality service.

We had a huge box of 16mm & 8 mm home…

We had a huge box of 16mm & 8 mm home movies from the 1960s left to us by our parents. We sent them all to Legacy Box. 6 weeks later - PRESTO!! - all converted to a flash drive. Easy instructions, great results!

To order is not user friendly.
Slipping shipment security charges into total cost is not right.
Why do I have to pay for thumb drive, CD, etc. when I can download files?
Why do you slip a $4.99 per month charge until I cancel it?

Unauthorized Charges to Credit Card, but digital transfer went well.

Transferring my videos and photos to digital files worked well. I downloaded the files shortly after they were posted. Unfortunately, I was automatically enrolled in a subscription plan I didn't want and Legacy Box was slow to stop the subscription. Also, they would not credit my credit card account what they had already charged for a subscription I didn't want and didn't use.

The process is not perfect but the results are professional.

The process is not perfect. Some photos appear to have been “smudged” by the process. The B&W negative conversion is exceptional. Remember to be patient for the results.

The images we received were very good…

The images we received were very good quality, even the 1953 8mm films! The timeframe was a bit long. The price seems acceptable, but I haven’t quoted other services. I would use your service again.
