Not transparent enough for something presented as “legal” support

My experience with Legal Solutions 4 U (LS4U) raised some significant concerns.

The service is positioned as specialist legal support for the motor trade, but there is a lack of clarity around regulatory status and what, if any, formal legal standing their advice carries. That distinction matters, particularly in consumer disputes where rights and obligations are clearly defined in law.

Communication was assertive, but I found it light on substance when it came to key issues — especially around ADR and how the process aligns with a trader’s obligations. I had to push for basic clarity that should have been provided upfront.

There is also publicly available information regarding individuals historically associated with the “Legal Solutions 4 U” name which, in my view, is relevant context. I would strongly encourage anyone considering using this service to look into that independently.

To be clear, this is my personal experience. Others may have different views. But for me, when something is presented as “legal” support, I expect transparency, accountability, and a clear regulatory footing — and I did not see that here.

Proceed carefully, and ask direct questions before relying on their position.

EXPERT LEGAL SUPPORT

Our used car dealership have found Legal Solutions 4U to be extremely helpful and highly knowledgeable motor trader advisors. They have significantly helped us improve our paperwork and are always available to discuss new cases as they arise. Malcom and his team are friendly, approachable, and clearly very experienced. We would highly recommend their services to any motor trader looking for expert legal support.

Just reported this company to trading…

Just reported this company to trading standards. Shouldn’t be allowed to represent any car dealership. Been awaiting for a full refund on a scam vehicle for about 4 months. I’m not taking the dealership to a small claims court. Scum

If you are a car dealer

If you are a car dealer, I do not recommend using this company or paying them for so-called help. I was paying them for about 4 years and approached them with 3 cases. In the last one, I wanted to file an appeal, but they were not interested. I submitted the appeal myself, and it was accepted. Legalsolutions4u stopped contacting me after I gave notice of termination. I do not recommend them

Mickey Mouse "Law Firm"

LegalSolutions4U seems to exist purely to make life harder for consumers rather than help them. They work with dodgy car dealers, using intimidation tactics to try and scare customers into dropping completely valid claims.

They aren’t actual lawyers, but they sure like to act like they are—giving the impression that you don’t have a case when really, they’re just there to protect the dealer, not to find a fair solution. If you’re dealing with them, don’t be fooled. Their main goal seems to be stopping people from getting the refunds or repairs they’re entitled to and thereby infringing on the consumer's rights.

Horrific Company

The company represented a garage that sold my son a faulty, unsafe and defective car. They tried to bully me into not proceeding to court and tried every trick to get the case dismissed despite independent evidence upholding my claim. At the court hearing they failed to turn up and represent the garage and the court awarded the case to me, it was a total waste of time. Horrific company.
