Pleasant and efficient staff. Whole experience great. Like to choose smaller businesses rather than chains.

Can’t fault their professionalism but it is matched elsewhere and at half the price!
Fareham Praills/Leighton too pricey for me!
£800 for one pair as opposed to £385 for 2!
I also asked them to cost for putting new lenses
In old frames, £488 !!

From the moment I walked into the store there was no wait time. All the staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and even had a sense of humour. Why hadn't I visited Leighton's before? I certainly wish I had but rest assured I will be a returning customer. Well done Leighton's in Fareham from a very satisfied customer.

Leightons recently purchased Prails Opticians. I recieved the same high standard of care from Richard during my contact lense check up.

1st visit recently to this Opticians although have known the owners for a few years now. Having moved back into the area wanted a local optician. Very,very, helpful and professional from my initial arrival to departure and my glasses were ready for collection within a couple of days and are exactly what I was looking for. I was advised by an NHS consultant to try a "non-chain" optician as they give you more time and are more thorough. I was very impressed by the professionalism and the service provided by Leightons. They explained everything and left me feeling reassured.

The whole process was very good. The only exception was that the tester said she would try to send us a report of the test. As of now I haven't had it. I am aware this was free consultation, but I am prepared to pay for the report if necessary. Otherwise very good service.

I have a relatively new pair of Rayban sunglasses which, during last Summer, shed a tiny screw securing one of the lenses. Having been turned away from Boots and Specsavers, as they weren't purchased from them, my Wife walked into Leightons, West Street, Fareham, who accepted the job kindly and were very supportive. To cap it all, they refused to accept any payment which blew our collective minds.
As thanks, I have recently had an eye test and purchased new reading glasses from there. Outstanding service and a friendly face in these difficult times.
