All the team are very welcoming, polite and friendly.

Ear wax removal by Elenor was done professionally with care. I can now hear in both ears again.

Additionally, I accidentally left my glasses in one of the appointment rooms. The staff helped me retrieve them safely.

Hugely respect Leightons and the subscription care plan with their professional staff. Keep up the great work.

Just finished my appointment and had to write a review before I forget because the service was great and Elenor took good care of me during my time there. They are simply THE BEST! - I have been a customer with Leightons in Reading for the past 10 years. The quality, service, professionalism, and care that they put into their every action is outstanding. I would never dream of going elsewhere for my optical needs. It is true that Leightons is not the cheapest option for optical care. However, they are MORE than worth every single pence.

The lady who treated did so in a respectful and caring manner. She explained what ear wax removal was about and how she was going to it. She then undertook the procedure making sure at all times I did not experience discomfort. My hearing has improved dramatically as a result.

I visited Leightons Reading yesterday 09.09 and my experience was 10/10. I went in to get my frame tightened, after getting this service refused from Specsavers because glasses were not purchased from them, and I was warmly welcomed by Kelvin and Cindy (not sure if I remember the lady’s name well), who even though I didn’t purchase my glasses from them, they were more than happy to get this done for me for free. While waiting I was also browsing their wide range of products and I will definitely come back to purchase some nice sunglasses.

Can't recommend Elenor highly enough - she puts you entirely at ease with her friendly and very professional manner. Gently removed all the wax buildup in both ears and gave me valuable advice for the future. Thank you so much once again Elenor.

Everyone in the Leighton's Reading branch is very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The branch manager, Kevin Forbes, in the Reading branch is excellent and very attentive. He checks and checks until the glasses fit perfectly, which i am mist impressed. I highly recommend Leighton.

Today, the lens of my glasses fell off on the way. I have visited the most popular optical shops, the first question they asked whether I bought it from them, on answering NO, they declined to fix it, even though it is just tightening a screw.

On the same way to office I visited Leightons optical, they welcomed me into the shop with a great smile and asked me how they can help. On explaining that I need help to fix my lenses, with the same smile the lady in the front picked my glasses and went into the office room, fixed them in hardly in a minute and handed over back to me. I have asked how much it costs me, she replied no need for any money.

It’s a great experience for me today at Leighton, where I have experienced true values. They have clearly demonstrated that it is not always about money, but it’s the values and humanity.

Visited the Reading town centre branch for eye tests for two standard-issue fidgety mid-teens...one with anxiety issues.

The quality of service provided by the optician and the dispensing staff I found to be simply first class. The optician put my kids at ease, likely has a half-decent chance at a stand-up career, and dazzled with the science!.

The chap from the dispensing team was thorough and, again, 100% professional. So much so that my daughters existing glasses weren't sitting quite right on her nose and he had to just give them a little adjustment, because it bothered him, now she says her glasses feel massively better on her face.

Brilliant to find old fashioned, decent, professional service. Couldn't rate or recommend highly enough.
