Excellent and friendly care from all staff at Leightons Woodley. From the moment I made contact and talked to Ross he couldn’t have been more helpful, including very much with my accessibility needs. All members of the team and my opthamologist were extremely kind, patient and knowledgable. Having had a cataract removal operation scheduled, Ross was extremely patient and helpful when I phoned to ask for advice as I had some concerns before the operation. I received the same high quality of care after the operation and am so grateful to Ross, my ophthalmologist and all members of the team. I am very confident to return after my second cararact operation and in the future. The friendliness, advice and competent care has been second to none, particularily as I have a health problem which makes these situations more complicated. I am very grateful for the level of care I receive from all the team.

First Class Ear Wax Service
Following an awful experience with Specsavers, went to see Elenor at Leightons Woodley for my ear wax removal. As someone who is deaf in one ear it is so important to me my ears are treated with care and professionalism. Was so happy with the treatment I received, both ears cleared, will only trust Leightons going forward.

Your staff are fantastic but because I’m on universal credit the price was extortionate. I do not understand how the price went that sky high when I was just sat there when I chose the cheapest glasses I could find please try to keep a range of glasses if somebody is in your store because some people don’t like to be all glasses are all frames Some people just don’t like change. I would like an explanation on my receipt when I come in on Monday on what those things are for because I do not understand and I have been told by universal credit to pick up my prescription and have it checked elsewhere for the prices many thanks but I cannot afford your staff, especially the lady that booked me in and the lady that done the dots on my eyes, the lady that looked in my eyes and the gentleman that was trying to help me choose my glasses fantastic staff cannot fault them at all I only have one problem. The receipt could’ve been explained properly. I do not know what classic 150 at £90 times two means react £35 times two. I’m not gonna have one side of my eyes tinted and not the other HMC £60 twice I do not understand any of that whatsoever so I will be asking for an explanation when I get there and I would like everything on paperwork please many thanks

Regarding the breakdown on your receipt, our system lists the lenses separately for the right and left eyes. This is due to the fact that some patients require different prescriptions or lens types for each eye, and the separation helps ensure precision when placing orders.
To assist you further, our manager will be in touch via email with a detailed explanation of the quote you received, so you have complete clarity on what has been recommended and why.
