zero stars for owners attitude and behaviour
We went to Paarl for a wedding. We checked in on 1st January 2018 and had a horrible experience in this hotel, which forced us to checkout and cancel all 5 nights.
The first room was dirty, the second had horrible beds and the third had stained linen with blood and "who knows what else" (This is the short version of what happened).
It took the owner 6.5 weeks to get back to me. He offered a partial refund as he didn't think these issues were "his or his staff fault". In his email he continued to ignore the fact that his manager was not available and that the manager only looked at our whatsapp messages the following day, after we checked out the previous night, and that she (the manager) never bothered calling us back to inquire about our horrible experience. To date, 2 and half months later, the manager still has not acknowledged any of the messages.
The owner Dion insulted my wife in a phone conversation we had and called her "Mentally unstable". His telephonic conduct was nothing short of disgusting. He forgot at times that I was the customer and not him.
We had checked into another hotel, 3 minutes down the road, with the same price range, much better facilities and most importantly clean rooms and linen.
