Total Spam! Once I submitted my information the spam started, so many calls and emails. Then I saw they have been in trouble in the past for deceptive practices. Now I’m stressing and scared about what they will do with my information submitted for my credit report.

We are so sorry to hear you are dealing with a flood of spam calls and emails. That is incredibly frustrating, and we completely understand why you'd be stressed about your information.
However, we believe that there has been a misunderstanding. We do not share your personal information for marketing purposes and we do not contact our users directly, unless they sign up for our newsletter (currently one emailed newsletter every two weeks) or credit monitoring (currently one email every month).
LendEDU offers a feature in which users can sign up to check and monitor their credit reports. This is the only instance on our site where we would request personal information. If you signed up for credit monitoring, the only external data sharing would be with our vendor solely for the purpose of verifying your identity and providing the monitoring service.
If you did not sign up for credit monitoring, and you submitted your information for a loan or other financial product, then we believe you are likely confusing us with a different company whose website you may have used before or after visiting ours. That is not uncommon.
Please note that while we are aware of the previous transparency issues you mentioned, LendEDU is now owned and operated by a completely different team.

All the reviews on companies are fake. Their overall review for a company is based off the company paying for higher score. Just know those high score companies paid for that, they are nothing special. LendEDU got sued by the FTC for this exact scam and somehow they are still doing it...
