LEOPAY ? Scandalous

In July I opened the account for my US company organizing the company to work with the cards by supplying them to my agents and to some customers (we are a family office). In September, Leopay decides to close my account from one day to the next without giving specific reasons. I have sent several emails with peremptory requests for explanations and finally, after a few weeks this reply:

"Please be informed that LeoPay has been changed and your country of residence is no longer accepted by the platform.

In this regard your account (s) should be redeemed without delay and no later than 2 months. "

I have not violated any Leopay rules and policy changes cannot be retroactive.

I'm working with my lawyers to get compensation for the big damage I've suffered.

Leopay: company to be avoided absolutely.

I don’t know if this scam could be…

I don’t know if this scam could be considered a bank. So they blocked all the accounts and by now the problem wasn’t fixed. If this was a real bank the lost money wold have been covered by the insurance. This may be a scheme, after the money disappears they slowly file bankruptcy and disappear with the money. This is just a presumption as I have no proof, I hope it’s not true as I would like my money back but it is plausible.

If you have passed the LeoPay verification process prior to our notification, you can use your card for a period of 2 months starting from the date you've received on your registered e-mail. You can also log in your account to view your balance. You can redeem your funds by following the instructions you've received by email. You need to provide us with a copy of ID Card/International Passport and an IBAN certificate issued in your name by a bank which is part of the SWIFT network.

Extremely annoying

Extremely annoying. They hardly respond to support requests and when they respond they do not answer the question at all.
I had my cards delivered in 4 weeks instead of 2-4 days but they did not give a refund.

I sent money to my USD account but the money returned, my bank still charged me a hefty fee. Leopay support very angrily said that they informed me on the UI about this and I should have seen it, it's not their fault.

Service super slow a lot of times. For example right now I want to log in to provide my Leopay account number to this review but I've been trying for minutes and I just can't log in.

They simply close your account and tell you that your country is not supported. Not even a reliable bank to consider ever, just feels like a total scam.

They blocked account without any notification

They blocked account without any notification or period to prepare for it. Just sent me the email - we don't support your country anymore, your account is blocked, your cards are blocked, send us docs and your new account number, we will move your funds. No warnings before, no any grace period, no support answers and so on, nothing. After several days they allowed to take my money by card. I don't care that one day, at one moment, LeoPay decided to stop support my country, good business must think about their service, service reliability, clients tranquility. They spent my time, my nerves, I had to spend additional unplanned fees. Very bad, and very unreliable.

No more IBAN, bye-bye

They don't have IBAN since 18. October. Top up ist just over SWIFT network and corresponding bank. What is that? I can make free SEPA (they don't accept it anymore), or International transfer for a lot of money. Top up by credit/debit card isn't free. I used the service 2 Jears ago without any problems but now I feel unsecure my money to have at Leopay/Leupay. Good bye.

Blocked my account and say to verify account again but i already verified my account when i create account , and have low exchange rate , buy 1 euro at 4.73 RON and i can buy at shops at 4.52 RON , i lost 0.21 RON at every euro used.i will not used this again.It's scam.

I used to be a very happy LeoPay customer…

I used to be a very happy LeoPay customer up until October 22. I usually transfer funds from PayPal to my LeoPay account. Although my LeoPay account was already linked to PayPal, my money transfer was reversed, on top of that I had to pay fees!!
I informed via email, them that in PayPal environment I can only submit the IBAN and not different BIC/SWIFT or Correspondent Bank names for a single Bank account. I got a generic response and I've been using a different bank since then.

LeoPay are just some freacking scamers.
I was lucky that I transferred them only 10 euros.
LeoPay Wallet don't work, I have not received any card, they don;t answer the emails and the phone line doesn't work.
So, my advice for anyone in this world is no to use at all this scammer's app.

Just started with LeuPay and really…

Just started with LeuPay and really disappointed. I have not received the cards yet and I made a small (luckily for me) money transfer to see how it works on the 18/10/2018. There is still nothing on my account and no refund to my bank account either. The live chat doesn't work anymore and I don't get any response on my emails or just the automated email that they are very busy with answering emails.
Now I read that many countries have been closed. Who are they? For each single one of us it is a smaller or a bigger amount, for them to keep money from hundreds of people it is huge amounts.
Well when i get the cards I will straight cut them. This company is not to be trusted.

The worst company and experience I have had until now.

I was starting to like them. But I had the worst experience in my life with LeuPay or LeoPay.
I started a trip on October 19, 2018 from Tirana to Prague which is about 3200km both ways as I was driving and stopping in different cities with my family, wife and two daughters of 4 and 1.5 years old.

LeuPay sent me an email that on October 22 they will change bank so I needed to give different details if receiving any payments after 22 October. I received a payment on 20 October and it didn't went through and the support team said the new rules has already been applied.
I had only 300 euros in cash as I was mostly using LeuPay card for almost everything. After stopping in 3 different cities we had a stop at Maribor, Slovenia and I tried to pay for some souvenirs with the LeuPay CC and it didn't work, I thought it was a terminal issue. Than later I went on a ATM to get cash and my CC was eaten by the ATM. Talked to the Bank staff of the ATM and they said that we can't give you the card as we will return it to the issuer. Tried to contact LeuPay and they didn't respond to my calls. Later I saw that they had sent me a message at 2am which said that as my country of residence isn't part of EU they have suspended my account. I was about 1000 km away from home with very few cash with me and no other Credit Card and with my wife and two children.
The same day I had to leave Slovenia and go in Vienna. So It looked like nothing to do, just trying to contact family so they will transfer me some cash via Western Union.
Two days after they sent me an email that they had unlocked my account, but I had no Credit Card to get cash so for me it was useless. I called their support and begged them to unlock my LeuPay wallet account so I can transfer my funds there and use the LeuPay wallet card to get cash but they said no it is impossible and they didn't unlocked it.
I had to transfer my funds via LeuPay app to my Transferwise account and send them to my brother and he sent them to me via Western Union.
Long live Western Union.
There is no excuse for what they did and the way they treated me and all other that had the same issue as me. Shame on you.
Hoping that someone will use all these bad reviews as sue them because they deserve it.

Since Oct/22 I`m trying to contact the…

Since Oct/22 I`m trying to contact the bank and didn`t receive any update about my case.
I had already made a international transfer to Leypay on Oct/17, but the money aren`t avalaible in the Leupay Bank Statement.
My local bank informed that Leupay received the amounts on Oct/21 (they represent me the received), but Leupay didn`t trnasfer it for my Bank account.
About my account, I tried to use the card and the ATM machine keep my card (the account was close in Oct/22), I had already follow the steps to request my money back, but Leupay didn`t answer my email and didn`t giv me a deadline to received my money.
I`m in travel and don`t have money to use.
Leupay didn`t respect the relationship our their clients.
