Possible Scam
This company notified me for no reason that they will close my account as they no longer support my region! They give some period of time to withdraw my money, but in that period their 2FA system didn't deliver sms messages to my phone number. I contacted them several times, and they said that they are working on it.. Once the period they gave me to withdraw my money finished, I was able to receive sms codes like magic!! So, I could access my account, but they steal all my money and my balance became "Zero". I contacted them to recover my money, they said that the period is finished and I didn't withdraw within it!!! Even they know that I was not able to access the account because of the sms verification system issue.
Now they never reply to my emails.

Account blocked and they don't unblock it nor reply
Five months ago I would have given them 5 stars, but first there were problems with Sepa transfers (we were not able to issue sepa payments - now we are - and not able to receive one) and now I got my account blocked because they needed some documents.
I provided the documents they requested on Jan 4th and four days later, they replied with a short email that ended with "Expect to hear from me shortly."
Another week passed and I had no answer. I still have my account blocked and I cannot pay my employees...
They were always good but now I would not recommend them to anyone, until they restore normal operations that were at 5 stars level.

Incorrect Fee charges for EU residents/ No reply from support
My LeoPay has been serving me well and works as advertised. Sadly, I cannot give it 5 stars because recently I had a serious issue with my account (which is described below) and the support proved to be slow and unresponsive. Also, their website is terribly slow, sometimes it even times out before the two-step login system works. The app works fine though. Apart from these issues, LeoPay has been very useful to me.
The issue that prompted me to write the original version of this review is described below:
I opened my account on LeoPay a couple of months ago from Brazil. Recently a change of policy banned operation there. I was then contacted by LeoPay informing that my account would be canceled and that I had 2 months to transfer my remaining funds or they would charge a 100eur fee. In the meantime, I moved to France and contact LeoPay about the possibility of keeping my account active, the reply from LeoPay´s support was that as a resident of the European Union I could keep my account fully active upon providing proof of European address and Long stay permit in France, which I provided both. At the end of the email exchange with the support representative, I was guaranteed that my account had been fully activated and I was good to go.
However, last month I was charged the 100eur fee. In the middle of a trip, right before the New Years' Eve. I was counting on that money. On December 29th, I contacted the support, a human response came only on January 02nd telling me they need more time to sort the issue. It has been almost 10 days. Since then, I have got no further update, response or assurance. I write to them giving them a couple of days to respond but I never got an answer.
(Update) After writing this review I was contacted and the issue was resolved on the same day.

When will I get my money back?
Two months ago I sent money to LeuPay before they change the name to LeoPay.
They said to me that my money never reached their systems ! What can I do ? Is it my problem ?
You should solve this with Satabank , Satabank was your partner !
Satabank announced on 28th November that they will start refund all the accounts .
if you have told me that my money keep in there why didnt I get my money back?
From now on every day I'm going to complain about LeoPay in each possible social media , facebook , instagram, twitter, Trustpilot , when I see one of your advertisements I will be there.
I can't believe that other people come here to give five stars to you . You don't deserve this

They got my money as fee before the date they gave me to spend.
I asked the customer service by e-mail about the limit date to spend my remain balance in my USD account. They answered me twice that I have until December 28th to spend the remain balance:
"Your card is active and you will be able to use it. Just note that after 28.12.2018, if you have remaining balance available it will be taken in a form of a charge of 100 EUR per month, as per our previous notification sent on 22.10.2018."
So, only if I still have money AFTER this date it would be taken in a form of a charge, but unfortunately on 27.12.2018 at 21h. they charge me and took all my balance of U$94.49. Still before I know this charge on 28.12.2018 I tried to use my money in my travel at USA, but the card refused the transaction. After I saw the charge in my account. I'm very angry about this, I asked on e-mail and confirm twice the date. But they lied cause took the money 1 day before. I want my money back. If they didn't give me that date I would transfer the money before, but I believe in them and lost my money.
Please return the balance asap, I'm still traveling and want to spend here in USA. I'm from Brazil.
Leopay - Very bad customer support. Expensive Forex
I have been using Leupay for more than a year. They were in Malta and I had a very good experience.
Then they moved to Bulgaria and things changed.
On the 22nd of October my account was frozen and I was told to supply information to close it in 2 months or pay USD100.00 per month. It was activated again shortly after but no further communication.
I supplied all the required information on 17th of December.
They only responded on 27 December and then charged me USD115.00. I have been contacting support and phoning them. They have very bad response times and there phone-in support is not good. Now they say they cannot transfer my money to UAE account. Also cannot transfer to Isle of Man.
I was forced to open Transferwise account. I am unable to get USD account so I had to convert money in Leopay from USD to EURO. They charged my USD787.75 on less than USD15k. That is almost 6%. That is very very bad and close to stealing. On the website it says "Currency exchange.Transfer balances between currencies instantly and at competitive rates"
6% is NOT competative and now I am again waiting for them to get back to me. Between 2 and 3 days. I would advise not to use them anymore. Not a nice experience as before.

No more salary
After 2 months of having my salary blocked i still can't get through with the customer service, always get we will get back to you or they try to redirect, horrible customer service, no advice no guidance no nothing. My lawyer says that hundreds of people are in my position and I believe him as some of my colleagues have their salaries also blocked. Now I have to wait maybe a few months more the lawyer to resolve it, on MY EXPENSE ON MY TIME AND ON MY MONEY. I really warn everyone to don't have any contacts with this institution, sooner or later you're gonna get it, the same thing i said when i saw some bad reviews from people who had dealt with leupay, i said that it can't be true, after over 1 year it happened and believe me it's not because of the EU policy, I'm from romania, it is in the EU..... WARNING DON'T USE THIS GHOST BANK.

Leupay/Leopay will take your money away from your account
They closed my account without any previous notice and charged a mainteinance fee of 100eur/month without any previous notice. I was lucky because i had only 56 euro on the account. They are SCAM, TAKE AWAY YOUR MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT before they simply take it without any previous notice.

One month I am still without my money
One month I am still without my money. I think it can be real scam. This company every day ask me to provide something new, new document, new paper with bank account, with address, or someone new. Please wait.
Anyway I understand that they don't want to return my money. They just taken my funds without any explanation and don't want to refund it. If there are will be more people, we can prepare collective legal action to court.

On-going crisis and drama
This crisis and drama started on 22 October. Since then I have been trying to get my company funds out (30k+), so that I can fulfil my obligations. Today on 19 December I finally got my money out, after emailing, calling and contacting senior staff on Linkedin.
Saying customer support is poor during this crisis, is an understatement. The lack of preparation on their decision to close down so many accounts has really backfired by the looks of it.
I am upgrading my last review to 2 stars, because I did get my money out in the end, even though I needed to go through a mountain of pain to get it done.
I feel for everyone that is stuck in a similar situation with this 'bank'
Use at own risk...

Unconcluced transfer
My father sent me money through transferwise and that money never came to my leopay's account. Transferwise has already positioned itself in relation to this, demonstrating through documents that the money was sent to the leopay's account. Leopay reports that this money went to Satabank, but they do nothing to return that money. I urgently need this money to feed me, to pay my bills. I've already contacted the leopay via email dozens of times but nothing is resolved.
Will it be necessary to take some legal action to get my money back?
Do not trust in this company. Do not open an account with this fraudulation bank. It is my best advice.
Carlos Salamanca.

Communication has to be improved, but it's a good service
It's a good service. Unfortunately my country is no longer accepted. The only problem I can complaim is on communication with customers. This was a big problem, when they changed the policy.
