The team at Lewis Denley have been great with getting my flat purchase agreed and exchanged. It was a pleasure to work with Heather and Genevieve. They were very efficient and clear in their communication, yet also very approachable. There threatened to be a slight blip on the buyer’s side at the last minute, but they handled this very professionally for us, ensuring the sale went through smoothly and on time. As neither executor lived locally, it was really helpful being able to manage documentation electronically when required.

I have worked with Lewis Denley Solicitors since 2023 after meeting Colin Secomb, the Managing Partner the previous year. I have had nothing but a fantastic experience using their services and continue to do so. Every encounter I have had with a member of staff at this firm has been a pleasure and I genuinely don’t have any bad words to say.

More specifically, I have worked closely with Harry Wilshaw from the Commercial team since July/August 2023 on a lot of transactions to purchase, refinance, obtain bridging loans and create new leases for various property assets and I can strongly say with confidence that Harry Wilshaw is the best Solicitor I have ever worked with, and I have worked with multiple firms prior to Lewis Denley. I always recommend Harry Wilshaw and Lewis Denley to my own friends or fellow property developers anytime I’m asked for a solicitor recommendation, as I know that Harry will get the job done for them irrespective of what service they’re looking for. Most solicitors operate like robots and lack good communication, whereas Harry is the complete antithesis of this - possessing excellent communication skills and knowledge.

Even to his own inconvenience sometimes, Harry will still go above and beyond for his clients, which I can testify to as he’d be replying to emails as late as 11pm or as early as 5am or even signing documents with me at the office at 8pm just to ensure that we are able to complete transactions with very tight deadlines in a timely manner. Just yesterday Harry was on annual leave and was still picking up the phone and sending emails, allowing me to complete a property purchase before the Christmas break.

If/when Harry has his employment review, I hope that Lewis Denley give him a promotion and a raise as he is a true testament to their firm and what they stand for! I look forward to our continued work together!
