Fantastic service from Lexus…Canterbury

I would like to congratulate the fantastic service that I experienced at Lexus Canterbury, I can not fault any part of the excellent service that I experienced whilst purchasing my 4th Lexus, I have used both Canterbury & Maidstone (closed) and on every visit been treated as a valued customer, however on this occasion the staff went above and beyond excellent service, I would like to mention two members of staff that deserve a special mention, Micheal who made buying the car a pleasurable experience and Linda (Receptionist) who was very attentive and provided us with plenty of refreshments every time we visited.

Excellent experience at Lexus Cardiff.

Bought my first Lexus (18 months old ES300h) from Cardiff dealer (FRF Group). Excellent service from Corie Sewell throughout the whole process. Very professional, relaxed and reassuring. Communication throughout was timely and helpfull. The personalised video of the car convinced me to risk getting train from Guildford rather than drive. I wasn't disappointed and great that Corie even picked me up from the station. Also thanks to Ollie who patiently sat in the car with me and ran through the setup on my phone, the App and other tech. Extremely helpful. Overall a faultless experience and the car is so far running beautifully.

Best car buying experience ever!

My husband has just bought his first ever brand new car from Lexus at Preston. He had a used Lexus from there a few years ago but has been back for servicing and MOTs since and always thought the service received was outstanding. So, when ready to buy his next car, he naturally wanted to go back to Lexus- they did not disappoint! Harrison took care of us this time and that young man is a credit to the team! He was wonderful, explaining everything, exploring all the options and allowed us time to make a decision without any pressure or rush. When we picked up the car, he took us through everything very thoroughly and gave us the confidence that we made exactly the right choice.
He was so good in fact, that I’ve already got my eye on my next car and will be seeking him out when it’s time.

Lexus cars are like no other

Lexus cars are like no other, superbly engineered comfortable, great perfomance, & eye catching, after test driving the RZ all electric 450e for 24 hours over a long distance was dissapointing, the range on a full charge only offered 196 miles, although i understand there are adjustments that can be made in settings to increase the range, but if driving in adverse weather conditions, using climate control, wipers & lights on, the mileage range is depleted, the rapid charging is expensive, compare that car to the NX450+ over long distance is much better to live with.

Earlier this year we stupidly bought a Lexus LBX expecting it to be a normal car, but it is NOT a normal car. Mechanically it is fine but electronically it is c**p. Some people might like the constant intrusions but most of us hate them. Why do we HAVE to have a mobile phone linked to be able to use the wretched thing? Why can't we disconnect and ignore it? What do phones have to do with cars? That apart, dozens of spurious and pointless obscure bleeps and messages drive me daft and are a very dangerous distraction when driving. If you like cars but hate the intrusive Toyota/Lexus take on driver 'assistance' as they euphemistically call it - DO NOT BUY A NEW LEXUS OR TOYOTA. After almost 20 years of loyal brand advocates we will NEVER buy another. You have been warned. Gee whiz what a hateful car!
UPDATE. May 2025. After struggling for a year we gave up the fight and changed the Lexus LBX for a new Honda. No more dodgy apps, no need for phone connection, no more pointless messages on screen, no more bleeps or flashing warnings, what bliss to be back in a normal car. Lexus and Listers were totally unhelpful, they said all the right things but did nothing to help me change the car. I was misled when I bought it - nobody said about the mobile phone account - unsurprisingly - had I known I would NOT have bought it. After 20 loyal years never again will we return to Lexus or Toyota.

A bunch of jokers in the business

A bunch of hokers in the making. I bought a UX model in 2022. I’ve had some neighbours accessing my car and these unprofessionals jokers have only laughed and mocked the situation with not offering any solutions. Do not invest into Lexus since the staff are extremely unprofessional and amateurs

WOW! WOW! WOW!

WOW! WOW! WOW!

I bought a new car and this was my first time purchasing a Lexus. From the moment I stepped in to the showroom to getting my car, the service has been brilliant.

The sales team - Sukhvir was very professional, polite and very knowledgeable of their products. The service provided was exceptional. He overheard my husband considering getting me a personalised number plate (which I wasn't very fond of) and when he looked into the new car registration; he found one closest to my surname. This is what I call a personalised service.

When I received my car, it was wrapped in a nice silk material so that I can un-reveal it with excitement!

I have driven my car for a few days now. The new Lexus LBX is a great car and it is a no wonder a car of the year 2024!

I highly recommend to visit the Lexus in Tunbridge Wells if you want to buy a new car.

I reluctantly booked my car in for a…

I reluctantly booked my car in for a service and MOT at Lexus Teeside. After arriving I was offered a drink (coffee) which was cold. I spoke to the service manager, Andy Pederson and requested that the service booklet be completed for the previous two years that the car had been in for service, also I asked who had been telephoning me the day before and the previous week as when I answered the phone went dead. Andy said the call on the previous day to my visit would have been the service department but no explanation was given as to why the phone would have gone dead when I answered.
On completion of the service and MOT the male person in the service department handed me my service booklet which had been completed (with some scribbling out) as requested with the documents for the service and MOT just stuffed inside!
I asked again who had been telephoning to which he replied “it wouldn’t have been on purpose”.
I did not consider this to be an explanation for either the call or the reason the phone went dead!
The following week I received a telephone call from a female asking if everything was ok when I brought my car in the previous week? I explained all of the above to her and said that I was not at all happy with the customer service and that I would be going elsewhere in the future. She did explain to me that the folders for service documents were on order and that they were waiting for them to come in. She also said that Andy would probably ring me, to date I’m still waiting!
All in all not very good customer service and I shall be voting with my feet after being a very loyal customer for many years.
Last year when I took my car in for service I had to request that all contacts with Stoneacre cease as they are an absolute nuisance- forever calling and leaving messages for me to call them back - excuse me, who is the customer here??

I bought my new Lexus this morning and i am so pleased and happy. Both Ollie and Emma at the Lincoln Branch could not do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. Also Thank you Ollie for my nice little surprise when I drove my car away. The Whole Experience has been great from beginning to end,I have been kept informed of the progress of my car and was very happy when I arrived this morning to collect it. The new experience of becoming invisible!

Having owned 22 cars over 62 years, I have learned to avoid main dealers as they are expensive and not always honest. I have found Mercedes and Jaguar to be the worst. However, seduced by Lexus 10 year warranty, l tried Guildford who had no interest in customer service and now Twickenham. As l knew that the work is done at Toyota, l took the car there, where it was checked in by a very helpful young woman. As my phone had a poor signal, via my wife, l got a message to contact Lexus and phoned the number she gave me, repeatedly with no answer. I walked to the dealership where l was given a list of recommended work, including a new shock absorber, cost £683.44. When l asked if this was covered by the warranty, the young man who dealt with me said no but couldn’t explain why. Before answering each question l asked, he walked a few steps to his manager, a woman in her forties, who steadfastly avoided looking in my direction. I agreed to the work, minus the shock absorber. While waiting for information on when the work could be done, the manager walked past three times without having the common courtesy of saying good morning. Had l become invisible or is she an extremely rude woman? As the work could not be done until the following day, l asked if the car could be delivered to our home. This, of course, was not possible. I have written to the service manager to complain about this woman’s attitude and to ask for an explanation of why the shock absorber is not covered and will do a further review on his reply. Future work on what is an excellent car will be done by a small local garage, where staff are friendly, polite and, unusually in the motor trade, completely honest.

Visited the Glasgow branch last night

Visited the Glasgow branch last night, arrived there was (what looked like lots of staff buzzing about and talking with each other , I looked for the car I was interested in (NX 450 so over £50k) after “hovering for five minutes” I approached someone sitting at a desk looking at their laptop, ask if someone could give me some details! Was told let me phone someone for you. Ten minutes no one, yet u appeared to be the only customer on the site, again made my presence know. Same person said sorry … someone will be with you …. Another 20 minutes I left went home.
Reason for my post … liked the car ordered one online this morning…. Which would have been at the local dealer but they couldn’t be bothered, obviously don’t need the sale.
So looks like Edinburgh for service etc

My last Lexus car.

My last Lexus car.
Appalling customer sevice. Had my RX 450 for 6 months ago. Service non existant. Ready to go on holiday Boot lid would not open, Phoned my Lexus centre in Poole to explained that I could not open the boot lid and needed to pack in my suitcases to catch a ferry that night. No one available to give me technical help. Explained I was catching a ferry but was advised " no you must bring it up to the service centre, which means I would miss my overnight ferry crossing. Tried the service centre in Southampton advised all operatives were busy. Tried Lexus customer service UK. Again no one available, but a customer service telephone operative said I will down load the manual and search on Line. After maybe 10 mins of an non experienced telephonist I gave up. Load my luggage over the rear seat and see if the Europeans can assist better than UK.
Cost of my New Lexus £80,000 Do not waste your money will sell you a car buit no back up. Will look for an alternative brand next time.

My honest opinion…terrible..absolute liars…customer services at Jemca are useless too…my honest opinion keep your car away…find a local garage…i have had a Lexus for 10years and this particular branch has gone from average to rubbish …especially their after sales manager, he is a slimeball. No point complaining as stupidly they send complaints to him. Best advice- put in a dispute with your credit card company.

I have just taken delivery of my new Lexus UX, purchased from Lexus Carlisle, and the experience from my first enquiry to delivery was exceptional. My contact, Natasha, who was phenomenally professional, informative, and helpful throughout all my enquiries and in arranging the finance.
Furthermore, I was delighted to have my car delivered by Simon, who drove seven hours from Carlisle to Essex and still provided phenomenal advice on how best to utilise the car's key features.
