I have been trying for 6 days now to get a claims person to call me back! I need to file a claim, however every time I call I get the after hours no matter what time of day and no one will call me back seems kind of fraudulent to me! I think we should file a class action suit!

Someone contact me please!

My car is currently in the service department at the dealership but neither my technician nor myself can get in touch with anyone to file a claim. They will not answer the phone, been trying to call since Thursday. I even stayed on hold determined to speak to someone today and was disconnected after holding 4 hours. So I tried to email sales, support, info and claims but so far no one has responded. If I press 1, I get someone but it is only an answering service who cannot tell me anything or provide me with any names or direct numbers. They have taken my information twice now and assured me someone would be in touch, but I still have not received a call back.

Good while it lasted. Are they out of business?

Bought their warranty 2 years ago and did have something covered early on. Had an issue almost 2 weeks ago and like many other reviews, haven't been able to reach ANYONE to even file a claim. We've left messages with their "receptionists" answering service which is a company called Anywhere Works and they claim to know nothing. I'm starting to think this company went out of business recently with the lack of response during all hours and ALL departments. We've sent emails to all available and known email addresses and our rep Jeff Lewis with 0 replies. Meanwhile we have been without a car this whole time because the damaged part is explicitly covered under the warranty we paid for. My attorney will be the next call but little hope in this company. Stay Away if you are lucky enough to reach a sales rep!!!!

UPDATE: Their Google listing now says "Permanently Closed" and numbers are now disconnected! I don't know of a class action yet but MAKE SURE YOU CONTACT YOUR STATE'S DEPT. OF INSURANCE as they oversee these VSCP's and have an obligation to the consumers.

Disgruntled Vereran

I am a 25 year military veteran who purchased this policy to protect my family while deployed. We recently had our transmission go out on our suburban and Liberty Bell is slow rolling everything - cannot get an “inspector” out to verify the damaged component, they will not return my calls or the dealership’s calls. We have been out a vehicle now for almost 3 weeks and have no end insight.

*Liberty Bell leadership - please make this right and take action.

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!! REALLY READ THE POLICY!

YOU CANT SEE HOW MUCH YOU HAVE PAID INTO THE POLICY, YOU CANT UPDATE YOUR CC, ONLY OVER THE PHONE. WHEN FILING A CLAIM THE SHOP CALLS IN THE SPECIFIC PART NUMBERS AND IF THOSE NUMBERS ARE NOT COVERED OR THEY TELL YOU ITS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. NO COMPASSION, ATTITUDE, CAN NEVER LEAVE A MSG OR IF YOU DO NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK IN THE 24HRS. FIRST TIME EVER GETTING AN EXTENDED WARRANTY, THOUGHT THE PRICE AND COMPONENTS WERE COVERED. SHOP THAT WAS DOING MY REPAIRS SAID THIS IS THE SHADIEST COMPANY TO EVER DEAL WITH, EVEN BENZ SAID SAME THING. I CANCELLED AND RYAN TOLD ME I WILL PAY THEM NOTHING SINCE IVE PAID OUT OVER $500 ALREADY AND CANCEL FEE IS $250+$75 PROCESSING FEE...

It's amazing how gullible people…

It's amazing how gullible people are....all of these third party warranties are garbage they talk all nice to you to get your credit card and than when reality kicks in your screwed the positive reviews are mostly fake. They will try to deny you in any way possible they will push things off and mean while you gona be waiting while the shop your car is in will charge you a storage fee per day anywhere from 50 to 95 bucks per day and bet your ass these people won't cover that cause it's not part of the car..etc. do your self a favor don't get any warranty that is not directly from the car manufacturer. I would rather pay out if ny pocket than give these scumbags my money at least you know if your paying for it your self the work will be done very quick..cash is king. Don't say we didn't warn you. It's a scam scam scam. If you want to read real reviews go on reddit and other sites similar to it. I've done extensive research on these companies sum of the stories of people getting screwed were mind boggling so much aggravation.

Normal Wear & Tear! Denied

I purchased a Platinum Prime, max coverage, at the time I purchased a 2015 LR4 w/ 25k miles in 10/20. My tire dealer found a vibration I was experiencing was due to worn lower control arms @ 33k miles. Dealer and all other prevailing authorities advise that the service life of lower control arms are between 90-100k. Liberty Bell denied claim as "normal wear & tear". Was told by dealership that no service industry considers the control arms a wear item. Waiting to hear back from Claims Manager!

Now 2 weeks later and Claims manager has not returned any of my calls.
They wont reject the claim in writing, only via phone call so that there is not documentation.

Why won't trustpilot remove Liberty Bells OBVIOUS fake positive reviews.

Trustpilot! Why are you allowing Liberty Bell Auto Protect (a complete scam of a company) to plaster your site with FAKE positive reviews when they are so obvious to be fake. This company builds its reputation on your site, and they do it through THOUSANDS of fake positive reviews. None of these positive reviews have an identified person attached, unlike all of the negative reviews which are from obvious real people. This company takes thousands of dollars from customers under the guise of "you will be protected" without plan to pay any future repair. I have already dished out over $12,000 in the year that I have had a plan from Liberty Bell Auto Protect and they have refused to pay for anything. It is a complete scam, and trust pilot you are pushing it. These reviews are hurting consumers and you don't seem to care.

The claim was denied due to pre-existing conditions of the vehicle. The car was in the repair shop from the day the policy was purchased. The vehicle was not driven due to pre-existing issues in the car.

Absolutely Worthless!! This warranty company has proved to operate as a scam it's shameful. Regardless of the NAMED COVERED issues. It will take DAYS to connect with the claims department only to be told PLATINUM PRIME COVERED mechanical breakdowns are not covered

BAD EXPERIENCE

i recently purchased an extended warranty for my 2016 BMW 750 lxi. when i filed my first claim.... it was nearly impossible to reach anyone in the claims department. eventually, after me calling for my service advisor several times... we were able to get some customer service and the claim was approved. not smoothly but eventually approved. i have since had a chassis fault light come on and it turned out to be my compressor. reaching someone in claims was still the same nightmare though. eventually we reached someone and they sent out an inspector to verify that the compressor was the issue. (I WAS TOLD THAT IF IT WAS THE COMPRESSOR....IT WOULD BE COVERED) Fast forward 2 days...i get a call from liberty asking me if i drove the car in or towed it. i drove it in. they denied the claim because of this. even though the car CLEARLY says on the dashboard that CONTINUED DRIVING IS POSSIBLE and on top of that....the car faulted electronically but showed no viable signs of the suspension faulting (still has NOT) . IT CLEARLY SEEMS THAT LIBERTY JUST DOES NOT WANT TO PAY THE CLAIM??? kinda makes buying the expensive extended warranty futile?? STILL CANNOT GET ANYONE ON THE CLAIMS LINE TO ICK UP AFTER 45 MINUTES ON HOLD. IF YOU WANT A COMPANY THAT WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE SUPPOSEDLY PURCHASED COVERAGE FOR.......GO ELSEWHERE.
