One of life's real good'ns!
I cannot recommend Life and Fork with Jules highly enough. When I first started working with her, I was stuck in disordered eating patterns, and emotional eating completely ruled my life. Over the years, Jules has given me the tools and support to move away from that entirely.
Now, I have a healthy, balanced relationship with food, and I feel happier, more confident, and at ease in myself. She has helped me transform not just my relationship with food, but also my overall approach to health, wellness, and exercise. I no longer overthink these aspects of my life, they just feel normal, and the weight of constant struggle has lifted off my shoulders.
Jules is genuinely amazing. I never once felt judged, criticised, or uncomfortable in her presence. She’s kind, patient, and incredibly insightful. I feel like I could speak to her every day, and I will truly miss our catch-ups and being in touch. She’s one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. One of life's real good'ns!
If anyone is struggling with any aspect of their health, wellness, or relationship with food, I cannot recommend Jules enough. She has helped me transform my life in ways I never thought possible, and I am forever grateful.
Amazing woman, helping other women
Jules is so great - she’s encouraging, amazingly knowledgable and also absolutely hilarious. She’s really changed how I look at food and how I look after myself. Money really well spent, couldn’t recommend enough.
If you’re thinking of working with Jools, just do it!
If you’re thinking of working with Jools, just do it! She’s a fantastic coach, who in a very short space of time has helped me find a way to get out of the rut I’ve been in and start to find a way forward. Her knowledge and way of explaining and framing things is excellent. I can’t recommend her enough.
If youre thinking about working with Jools, do it!
If youre thinking about working with Jools, do it - shes brilliant! The time I’ve spent with her has allowed me to gain a wealth of knowledge that has helped me to develop healthier eating and exercise habits - and hopefully these will be maintained throughout life now. I felt lost and overwhelmed amongst all the nutritional info thats out there nowadays. Whilst Jools knows her stuff and bases everything she implements off of the latest research etc, she also has an incredible ability to simplify it all where needed, so it never felt over complicated. But the really
special thing about working with Jools is how listened to I felt. As a busy working mum, I simply felt heard and understood. There was no pressure to achieve things that simply weren’t achievable for me - everything was always tailored to my circumstances. And alongside this, there was zero judgement. It’s been a real pleasure and immense experience to work with her, which I feel exceptionally grateful for.
Just do it! It's the best investment I have made in myself
There are loads of brilliant things I can say about working with Jools, but they all boil down to the same thing - life changing! Not in some mega social media transformation nonsense way. But in that every day, too easy to avoid doing way, that means it gets done. Consistently. This has had a massive impact on how I feel, I am so much happier in my own skin. No longer hangry all the time (which I didn't know I was) and focused on food and appearance. It's also worth saying that where I have ended up isn't where I thought I would be when we started working together - it's some where altogether more magical. I hadn't realised how much I was limiting myself and how under fed I was at points. Sure I can also now wax lyrical about the benefits of protein and fibre - but more importantly I have let go of a lot of nonsense so I can focus on what actually makes me happy. Chatting to Jools is totally non judgemental - she's like your bestie but with a load of science and knowledge in the advice she gives. She gets what it's like to be mega busy and have a million responsibilities. If you are on the fence, just go for it - it will be the best thing you do for yourself!
No words!
Jools is FAB. Just amazing at what she does. In a world where nutrition has never been more complex, misunderstood by the masses and seemingly "understood by influencers" Jools is a breath of fresh air in an industry I was lost in. Her no nonsense, friendly and at times hilarious advice is incredible. Every call, text, email was like therapy - just amazing.
The best investment I’ve ever made in myself
I’ve been working with Jools for the last 3 months and it’s been utterly life changing! I’ve yo-yo dieted for the best part of 20 years and tried every diet under the sun all leading to the same end result…putting it all back on again because I find following a diet plan easy to start with but because it doesn’t work on the root of the problem..my disordered eating habits I fall off the wagon. I saw Jools a couple of years ago at a talk and have followed her on Instagram ever since. I loved everything she stood for and found her so relatable to me and my life. I am a married busy mum and a business owner, and although I have a really good concept of calories/macros and don’t struggle to exercise as I love it, here I was again getting annoyed at the end of day one of my diet and spooning Nutella out of the jar because I have told myself I can’t eat chocolate. I reached out to Jools, we had a lovely chat and I’ve never looked back! I’ve had some big realisations, made lots of small changes, stopped tracking and weighing in as it was affecting my entire mood and self worth. I started listening to my hunger queues, stopped feeling guilty about what I had always classed as “bad foods” and gave myself freedom to eat these foods alongside a nutrient dense diet and have now found that I have the control over my eating without the stress of a diet. I feel so much happier in myself and this journey has been so much more than just about me getting to a certain weight. I cannot thank her enough and would highly recommend her to anyone. It’s been the best investment I’ve ever made.
Jools is a truly life changing human…
Jools is a truly life changing human being
I have just had my last session with Jools after 3 years and I am genuinely devastated. She has helped me to completely change my incredibly dysfunctional relationship with food. I enjoy food far more now than I ever did before because it doesn’t have the hold on me that it used to. I no longer think of myself as disgusting. I went on 2 All Inclusive holidays and lost weight. She helped me to recognise that I was peri-menopausal and supported me with getting HRT. She has educated me; metaphorically held my hand when I needed it (the downside of living so far away is we have never met in person!); supported me through some tricky periods; helped me to see the joy in the small things and helped me to understand that my value to this world is not related to my weight. I am still to find the joy in formal exercise 😬😅 but I move far more than I ever have and now take satisfaction in how that makes me feel in a way I never thought was possible.
I am one of her clients who has started using GLP-1 drugs because I am Diabetic and needed to get my blood sugars down. She has been so incredibly supportive and helped me to use it as a tool and not a solution, all without any of the judgement that many other people have. All of the other work we have been doing about nutrition and exercise has been in support of that and I know that as I get to the point when I am able to come off Mounjaro, I now have the tools I need to keep the weight off and keep myself healthy.
Jools is genuinely the best investment I have ever made in myself and I cannot recommend her enough. She is motivating without being annoying, the voice on my shoulder when I have needed it and a friend. She has, quite simply, changed my life.
Jules will change your view of life
Jules is so realistic, personable, funny and intelligent. Her sessions feel like a chat with a friend but week on week will transform your views of not only nutrition, but also body image, relationships with food/ people, attitude to work/ life balance, exercise….. This woman wears many hats: nutritionist, personal coach, counsellor to name a few, but all done in such a positive way always with a massive grin. She is inspirational and will change your life (and fork!) ☺️ Money well spent.
10kg in 6 months. Instead of doing 10 more burpees my perspective has completely changed.
Working with Julz has been a complete realignment of my relationship with health food and fitness. I've always worked out, I've always tracked calories and I've always eaten well. However I've also fall 'of the bandwagon' and gained weight every few years. This time with Juls guidance it's been a completely different process. Instead of just doing 10 more burpees my perspective on food health and lifestyle has completely changed. I've lost 10kilos in 6 months and still ate the foods I love. Now bad days are just days because I know I'm in control and that the culmative impact is what matters.
I like how realistic and 'normal' Julz is. Her approach is to be kind and considerate of yourself which is just lovely. Often I'd beat myself up and Julz would always be able to reframe it into a positive which has had a huge impact on how I vision health and fitness long term goals.
Working with Julz has been a revelation I cannot recommend her enough.

Jools has been absolutely incredible with helping me to understand and change my relationship around food. She has helped me to understand what food I need to fuel my body and how this makes me feel. Whilst also being understanding of life challenges and advising me how to do it without having to cook from scratch. I couldn’t recommend enough, life changing 💫
What a difference a Jools makes!! 😊
I’ve struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. Managing life, a love of food and PCOS. Exercise has helped me maintain weight loss but after an injury and back surgery, I felt a bit lost. Jools has helped me in so many ways. I’ve never invested in myself in this way and I would highly recommend. I know a fair bit about diet, calories, potions etc and working with Jools gave me that validation I have it just about right, a slow confidence boost to start to add exercise back into my life and a better understanding of what I need to be happy. Over the last three months I’ve lost a stone which is great but I’ve put less pressure on myself to lose a certain amount by a certain time. I have very strict days when I can pull back but also relaxed days to enjoy what makes me happy - days out, friends over, family get togethers when I can cook great food and enjoy a drink! The loss is slow and steady but I feel calm and in control. Less of a diet, more a choice of lifestyle and a lovely friend to stay in touch with that gave me that support to get moving again when I felt so scared of injuring myself. It might seem an expense and often we don’t invest in ourselves, but for me it’s been worth every penny!
What Jools offers is a practical easy…
What Jools offers is a practical easy way of losing weight without really thinking. Her counselling was invaluable and I have changed what I eat and it’s easy to make healthier options. My weight is coming down slowly but more to the point… I feel great. I feel the healthiest I have done in a long time. Jools really listens to what you’re saying and gets to the point really quickly she is always positive and always kind. I would highly recommend her service. I hope to stay in touch with her as I’ve also made a new friend thank you Jools.
I wish I had met Jools years ago
I wish I had met Jools years ago - (although after a very short time it felt as if I'd known her for years) Everything she told me about food and nutrition made perfect sense and everything just clicked into place. No foods were off limits, I didn't have to cut anything out, I sometimes struggled with the amount she wanted me to eat! yet before long, I found I was naturally WANTING different food options and not 'the stodge' I had been eating before and I was enjoying it all.
Initially I contacted Jools because of aching joints and legs. Various tests had shown there was no physical reason for the pains but they were stopping me from being very active. After a couple of months with Jools I still had the odd niggles or pains first thing in a morning but these soon wore off once I was up and about (before they would last all day or even days) I am feeling stronger, fitter and I am definitely more active. I am even thinking more clearly and generally in a much better place.
I know, because this isn't a fad diet but an actual life changing way of thinking that I will continue to eat better and feel better. I still have the chocolate and piece of cake (cos Jools said I could 🤣) but I can truly take it or leave it now. The advice Jools gives is so useful, so practical (and scientifically backed up) that I urge everyone to make that discovery call and become a friend of Juliet - you won't regret it.
Life changing - sounds cliche but it’s true!
If you want to lose weight quickly - this isn’t for you… if you want to change your thinking, your habits, feeling better and your overall happiness with the added benefit of losing weight then sign up.
Jools is the most down to earth person who will support, guide and challenge you and your thinking and behaviours, you will not get diet plans which leave you hungry and miserable but you will learn how to improve your overall health and well-being.
I fought jools every step of the way, a strange thing to do when I signed up voluntarily but there we go, but she remained the most supportive person and genuinely changed my thinking. I was the typical ‘starve myself to lose weight’ thinking I was doing the right thing but consuming sneaky calories that I didn’t register because I was hungry. I went from eating a dull tuna wrap for lunch to protein filled healthy ready meals (mad) such as curries, noodles, chillis etc and over the course of 6 months lost over 9lbs, whilst this was my end game the result was not just weight loss but a feeling of calm over my eating which I haven’t felt in forever.
Jools I can’t thank you enough, you changed a person that I was adamant was unchangeable and have brought a serenity to my eating I never thought possible.
I can’t recommend Jools enough🙌🏻
I can’t recommend Jools enough🙌🏻. I was struggling to pin point what foods were causing my symptoms, Jools helped me figure out what I could and couldn’t eat! Now I enjoy eating with no side effects- feeling better than ever, Thank you xx

Transformed my life!
"Juliette has truly transformed my life! Her ability to bring clarity to the complex world of food and diet relationships is astounding. She guided me in unraveling my thoughts and emotions, helping me better understand and regulate them, especially in relation to my cycle. As I trusted the process, I started seeing positive changes within a few weeks. I felt more confident in my clothes and even received compliments! Juliette excels at dispelling false beliefs and guilt surrounding food and enjoyment. I only wish I had found her sooner! In just a few weeks, she helped me achieve what I struggled with for over a decade. I wholeheartedly recommend her services, and on top of it all, she's incredibly bubbly and enjoyable to be around! 👍👍☺️☺️"
Jools honestly changed my life. If only I'd done this sooner.
I can pinpoint the exact moment my trust in my body and food was undermined, and I can tell you the many, many moments over the years that this fault line was systematically dismantled until I found myself, almost 40 years on, overweight (again), sluggish, and legit frightened of food. Like, how could I possibly know what to eat, how to eat, or trust myself, my body to take what it needed?
Almost an entire lifetime of yo-yo diets has meant that I reach middle age, the heaviest I've ever been. Disordered eating, body dysmorphia, a total disconnect from trust meant that I had two options: go back to a diet club, pay a fortune to reinforce every single f**ked up bit of diet advice I've ever learned, lose a few stone, then watch it gradually return over the following two years - a routine I've adhered to for almost two decades - or try something different. I spent a long time looking at nutritionists online. Followed them on insta. Engaged with a few. But when I found Jools (Life and Fork), I knew that I had found the person I needed to work with. Calm, compassionate, funny, warm and a no bullsh*t attitude. She understood my fears before I even realised I had them. She carefully considered an approach to food that would be in my best interests - no one size fits all. An approach that she was clear would not lead to miraculous overnight weight loss, but she promised would lead to me revolutionising my relationship to food. And that's exactly what happened. Over three months, I sat with the discomfort and anger I had about being full, being hungry, eating anything. I complained to her when I was frightened and losing faith in myself and my body's ability to make lasting change. I cried. We exchanged messages where I got frustrated about everything and she gently navigated me through it all. And slowly, carefully, but certainly, things changed. I'm now 4 months on from having started, almost 1 month on from my last session with Jools. I am not afraid of food. I am not afraid to eat. I move three, four times more than I ever did: daily cold swims, 15+k steps, every day, consistently. I get on the bike and cycle 10, 20 miles- okay so it's an e-bike, but that's got me out and about and the only person I need to compete with is me. I'm trying to find the money to join a gym, I make the most bonkers choices about food... like, I eat to be nutritionally satiated because I now know how to do that and can trust that my body isn't going to rebel and get bigger as a result. I honestly eat more than I ever have. Nothing is off limits. I realise that at certain times of the month I need more fuel than others and I honour that. Am I losing weight? Sure. Slowly. I mean, SO slowly that sometimes my old brain panics/kicks off/is a dick, but I breathe, I remember I just need to trust the process, and I keep on keeping on. Consistency will be the dream ticket for me and my body will eventually find its own healthy weight. That may be lighter than I've imagined, it may be heavier. But I'll never know because I've also stopped weighing myself. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life and I can trust that if I'm eating right, what I weigh is irrelevant. I just need to trust and listen to my body. Sorry for the long review, Jools, and how long it's taken me to write it, but I had to find the right time to find the right words. It took you three months to help re programme my brain. I'm still sometimes staggered that I feel about food and exercise the way that I do. It has honestly changed my life. And as such, that impacts on the kids. My mum died still beating herself up for the choices she made about food and exercise; literally blaming her cancer symptoms on something she'd eaten. I made a decision to change that cycle. The impact is far bigger than just me, or how much I weigh, and for that, I can't tell you how grateful I am. Thanks Jools.
