Lightburn were happy and quick in replying to a question not strictly related to a Lightburn issue.
Whenever I have contacted them they are ready to help.

The support, if you could even call it that, was ridiculous. After downloading 2.0 my machine became for the most part, worthless. I lost consirable power immediately. Their response, is your lens clean. I would have been better off asking a random passersby. I have been without my laser for a month now. I have had to stop taking orders, essentially closing my business. I really wish someone else would create similar software and stand behind it even when it fails.

One of a kind software, best for laser cutting and engraving. Also very satisfied with the customer support too, I mistakenly bought the wrong licence so they got me refunded and also extended my trial for one month.

This is the absolute best laser software on the market. As a software engineer, I have to say that this is so well written, and the support is exceptional. I highly recommend this for lasers that have Lightburn as a possible app that works with your laser. A+++

Lightburn is a necessary evil. Ive been using is for nearly two years now. It needs to be used to operate the laser. It works well as a laser controller but completely sucks as a creative software base. I spent most of my time trying to deconflict error messages instead of creating the projects I need for customers. For very basic work, its ok, for any kind of creativity its horrible.

I am an absolute beginner to laser engraving and Lightburn. I took an AutoCAD 1cyear course a few years ago, so I have basic knowledge.
I watched online video after video, but each video " assumed" the viewer had previous engraving experience.... and most were using earlier version of Lightburn.

I emailed Lightburn as to my " pickle" and quickly received a response outlining the solution to the problem I had problems with. But, thanks to the information from Lightburn I successfully moved passed the calibration problem I was experiencing, completed the alignment test and now ready for Trace, Speed and Feeds.

Would it be possible for Lightburn to consider a complete beginners step-by-step instruction book/ video for absolute beginners?

Anyway. Thank you to Lightburn's quick response and completely understanding my dilemma.

I am retired and Lightburn has really given alot of enjoyment. If you dream of a project, you can design, cut, or engrave it. Looking forward making more projects in the future. One project that is nice is a 3d Deer that is a beautiful work of art.

I was using a knock off version of LaserCad and my buddy told me to switch to LightBurn. Instantly my burns improved. I thought I had issues with my DIY co2 laser and had been having issues with flat spots in all my circles... It was the software. LOL. After weeks of swapping stepper drivers and motors and checking all my mechanical parts. LightBurn fixed my issues and I never looked back.

After the update GWEIKE has disappeared and can't be found
The customer care service helped me find a way : they sent me the old version and everything is OK
They should debug the new version soon
