Gone bust?
Have ordered thousands of pounds worth of lights from this company in the past and haven't a bad thing to say about them. Then ordered a small number of lights for an emergency job on 12th September and have not yet received them, no communication whatsoever from the company despite several support requests (they don't answer the phone due to "large volume of calls at this busy time"). I think that sadly they have gone bust and are in the process of re-emerging as Downlight Led . co .uk.
Hopefully we will get the £150+ back but I'm not hopeful....

We ordered lights on 14th September and expected delivery within 3-5working days. We had an email on 19th September to say the order was on its way but we are yet to receive our order (it’s now 27th September).
The DPD tracking has said the same thing all along: “We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel”
We will unfortunately be contacting our bank to cancel the order and reclaim the hundreds of pounds we’ve spent with lighthub.
Update 1: the contact number linked to this transaction on my bank statement is for another lighting company who have never heard of Lighthub!!
Update 2: still no communication from the company, but we received 4 of the 6 items on 2nd October.
Poor communication and no sign of order
I ordered 2 wall lights last week and was told they would be shipped within 3 to 5 working days. I contacted 'support' 2 days ago to chase up. I have not yet received a reply.

I ordered lights from LightHub Direct over two weeks ago, fully expecting their advertised lead time of 3–5 days. Three weeks later, I am still waiting for my delivery.
What makes the experience worse is the complete lack of communication. The only response I’ve received is an automated email promising someone would get back to me – but no one ever has. This feels deliberately misleading to customers, as the website clearly promotes fast delivery while failing to fulfil it.
Buying from LightHub Direct has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere if you want reliable service and honest communication.

I placed an order on the 9th of September, on the 22nd I received an email apologising saying a situation out of their control has stopped my order from being delivered, I have since tried to email them twice with no reply, Live chat on website doesn’t work and phone number also does not work, I’m now out of pocket, have let my customer down who the lights were for and having to contact my bank to request a refund AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Ordered emergency lights on the 15th September. Still not been delivered. Phone line doesn’t work as they are dealing with a high volume of traffic apparently which is no wonder if this is their customer service. Received an email on Monday apologising for the delay confirm the issue was with DPD have sent 4 further emails to find out a delivery date and can’t get a reply. An utter joke of a company I am now out of pocket £217 and will have to chase up my money via the bank.

Hello. I bought the goods on September 7th, today is September 15th. No delivery. The phone number 03301331311 doesn't work, and there are no email responses. As a new customer, I'm disappointed with this situation... they say delivery takes 3-5 days, that's a joke! I don't recommend it. The matter has been reported to PayPal.

Tbh they had a nightmare. Bought 7 lights, package if 6 turned up on time. The other light got lost. They redelivered it several days later, damaged in transit. It happens. Gave me a full refund without me even asking. will use again as mistakes happen. its how you deal with those mistakes that matters. well done

I ordered two Round Bulkhead Light Fittings but later realized I no longer needed them. I submitted a return request over a week ago, but it has yet to be reviewed. I haven’t received any communication from Lighthub regarding the status of my return.
I’ve tried calling several times with no response and also sent an email, but no one has gotten back to me. While purchasing from Lighthub was straightforward and easy, trying to return an item has been unnecessarily difficult and frustrating.

Excellent customer service from Louise.
Took a few days for a response, but after speaking with an advisor I now understand this stemmed from circumstances beyond their control. Spoke to Louise who has since been extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my order. Pleased I did manage to speak with Louise who very much reinstalled my faith in the company after the initial disappointment.
