Scam company
Do not try and purchase anything from this company. Go and put your money down a drain first. I will never buy anything again without reading reviews first. They say goods will take 3-5 days - ITS A COMPLETE LIE. They have no intention of sending you the goods and then when you ask for a refund they only give you partial. I got £29 back from a £53 order. Shame on you lightinabox.

It is such a shame that this company makes such rubbish items. The pictures of the clothes are lovely but when they arrive the material is cheap and generally nothing like the picture. If they doubled the price and made their clothes from quality fabric they would be a better company and folks would buy much more. I certainly would! BIG SHAME. SHAME ON YOU.!

When item arrived it was cheap material and when wanting to return its really complicated. Would NEVER order from here again.

Do not buy from these scammers. Absolutely atrocious customer experience. No option to return anything without having to pay them a min fee. The goods look nothing like the pictures. Dreadfully disappointing.

the dress ordered looked nothing like the photo so I decided to return it ... then they send you messages to let you know how expensive it will be t return it and how its your responsibility to send it back to China n 7 days ... for example ."We're sorry that you want to return the product. Sorry that we don't have the return label currently, please return it to our Asia warehouse by the cheapest tracking service in the post office.Please understand that you need to cover the return postage. Usually, it costs $10-$40, and it takes 2-4 weeks for delivery. The refund GBP 40 will be issued once we receive it and pass the quality check. "

Terrible.complete rip off Black steel iPhone case £30. Turned up in blue plastic! Awful and no way to return unless you pay shipping to China!

I ordered a pair of shorts in medium, but they are so tight I can't get them on and I always order small so the sizing is obviously completely wrong. I would like a refund, but in order to do that I have to pay the postage all the way to China! Avoid this company!

OMG dealing with this company has been a nightmare. clothes arrived all different sizes and materials than advertised. Dress smelt of smoke - asked for a refund but was told I had to return it to China. Eventually settled for a 60% refund which turned out for to be 38.%!! Don’t use this company!!!

They lie about delivery time from start to finish, do not use them, they are a joke but the joke is on you. They will disappear soon, thankfully

An absolute con of a company! Orders are imported at an extra cost to you before you receive your goods. Very poor quality goods. Returns are just not an option and a small discount offered as cheaper than a return apparently. Not permitted to return to UK address or refund not granted. When any addresses connected to company are researched, none are legit. We are now having to make a claim through PayPal to have any chance of a fair refund. Purchase at your own peril!

Absolute 'SH1TE in a box' - basically item arrived late and damaged, refund incorrect and taking months.

When the wrong item arrives over a week late and you can’t speak to customer services. You know it a con!!

Just received the track suit. Delivery on time and it fits but had to order largest size 3XL and I’m size 16 Australia. Nothing like the photo on website. Cheap knock offs. Will not order from them again.

Ordered 3 dresses, I’m a U.K. size 20 so ordered 4XXX, dresses have come very good condition.
Dresses are a bit tight but am dieting so will get into them.
Overall I’m pleased with my order.

I used Light in a box to purchase a red wedding hat and handbag. The estimated delivery time was 5-7 days. Once they took my money they informed me that due to current delivery issued, I would be closer 16 days. It was for a wedding which would have been over before I received the items; there was also guarantee that it would arrive on the revised date. I cancelled the order and would not use them again especially as many of the other reviews had the same issues.I fairness they did refund my money fairly quickly.

Why oh why oh why do I forget to come to trust pilot to check a company before I buy something from it? Light in the Box is a light in a box eg basically something that is it useful for nothing. The 'towel holder', a term I use extremely lightly, that I purchased from this company was cheap, plastic and weighed so little that I actually thought the box had nothing in it. I am now in a conversation with them about getting a full refund. Save yourself the bother.

If you are thinking of ordering from Lightinabox. Please don't. I was a new customer and will never order from them again. I have been ripped off. I ordered a curly blonde wig and a summer dress. The wig was a straight blonde bob wig and the dress was going to appear a week later than first told. After getting in touch with this company they first said that I could keep the wig and they can give me 15% of the cost price. After another email they are now prepared to give me 50% of the wig price and I do not have to send it back as It will cost too much. This company is an utter disgrace. Please, Please, Please, don't buy anything from Lightinabox, unless you want to be sorely disappointed and out of pocket. I have an update on this review. I have now received the dress and it is lovely, just as I expected it to be, silky smoth just right for summer. With this company it is hit and miss. It's ok if you don't mind not receiving your order every time.

Ordered products on their site 4 weeks ago. Estimated time of delivery 7-10 days. Now 4 weeks later, after sending the products a trip around the world (not very sustainable…) the products have been “attempted” delivered. I work from home and no one has knocked on our door to try and deliver the product. A notice that the products will be returned at my expense, and only indication of where I can pick it up is at “the post office” not indicating WHICH post office…
Any inquiries to lightinthebox are ignored, not answered, and now I get a notice that they will have to give up my product, because I haven’t paid for the shipment costs for returning the product!! Well had I known that it was necessary to both pay for shipment costs to my house and back to the company again I wouldn’t have shopped there to begin with… so never ever again lightinabox…

WORST COMPAGNY EVER !!. Ordred a dress online….and it isent the same material, and the design isent even close to what the photo showed….and sleve length isent the same. Terrible is not even CLOSE to what this compagny is !

Please dont cheat yourself by buying ANYTHING from this compagny…..please !.
