Have to return goods to China…..very expensuve

This company should not be permitted to trade in the UK. I ordered 2 t shirts from them but as they were too short, I went to find out how to return them. I emailed them to get a returns form. They replied saying they don’t have a UK warehouse, although my t shirts were posted from an address in Birmingham. They are based in China and they suggested that I keep the goods as it would cost too much in postage to return them. They offered me 10% discount. I read their long returns policy and hidden in the depths of it is that some goods may have to be returned to China. On the main website and purchase pages, there is no mention of this. I have just spent £16 on postage to return to China on goods worth £39. As I’m never going to wear the t-shirts, I guess it’s better to have some money back. Their business ethics stink and I hope that people get wise to their sharp practices and avoid this company like the plague.

It’s just not worth shopping with them

If I could give 0 or minuses I would. Ordered a small Xmas t-shirt. It took 3 weeks to be delivered. It says it’s a small on the label but it’s bigger than any large t-shirt I’ve ever seen. The colours are also very faded. Tried to send it back, but they said that because it has to go back to China, it won’t be economically worth it. So left out of pocket with a poor t-shirt.
Terrible company.

Light in a box very dark 😡

Items not delivered I got most of my money back as I paid through PayPal Light in a box had put a return label that once in the postal system it gets so far and then returned to them Even more worrying Royal Mail don’t take any responsibility for it I’ve lost 8.99 in postage

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY😒

If I could give it a minus 10 I would. The coat I recieved IS NOT what shows in the Pic, the quality is soooo poor, I ordered a coat and got a cheap sack, no lining, plastic button fell off when I was trying it on, cheap crap, no lining, so all the stitching and bits of material can be seen,I paid about £42,not worth 12. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Over here we would get trade discriptions involved. Wish I could put a Pic up for you to see.
Just realised... Look through the reviews every time there's a bad one, a good one pops up after it, what a coincidence.

Ordered my Daughter a Winter Coat and Shoes ,Loved the Out of this World Choice ,Fantastic As a Man buying for my Daughter ,MY PARTNER said Check these people out with Trustpilot .Ha I own a Retail Business for over 30 years and been in Retail for 51 years , What we Received A) Look nothing like the Photo .B) Disgusting Quality Told 4/7Days Took 12Days and Correspondence was Poor , Charged £17.22 Delivery .Now they want ME to pay to get it back to China ! The cost is Silly All this Make the Low Quality items Expensive RUBISH Use second hand goods are 100% Better WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless your DAFT ! Ime taking this up with Barclay Card To be Continued. NIC. PS Wanted to add Images But had issues doing so.

Horrific experience

Horrific experience. Ordered a jumper, a jumper arrived in a different wool, knit, colour and fit. Tried to use the app to arrange a return and the form won't let me download a photo and just keeps looping - so not submitting to lightinabox.... I can't even request a return as their online form is not working DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

I wish I could give this order no stars. The quality of the items is cheap, badly made and looks nothing like the pictures. The only thing that is right is the color. I will NEVER knowingly order from this company again.

Product very badly made - now resolved

Product very badly made. Fabric poor quality. Bad fit. When I tried to return the product - was offered 20% of cost and was told that it was better to accept the offer as the cost of posting back to China would be a lot. I will never buy from this company again

Matter has now been resolved and full credit issued via PayPal.

Annoyed

I purchased a jumper from Light In A Box. Cost me around £29. The colours in the picture on the website and what I received were totally different. They suggested I look at it under a fluorescent light! Returns policy is: pay for it to go back to China (which takes 20-30 days), get 20% refund or 30% voucher.

Not happy.

Cheap and nasty

I bought a jumper and a cardigan from this website. The yarn they were made from resembles nothing better than nylon string, certainly wouldn’t have bought them had I seen them in a shop. Will never buy anything from them ever again and will warn my friends about them.

Thieves

The most awful company. I ordered two outfits costing £300, they were a size 14/16 and would even fit my daughter who is a size 10. They won’t offer a refund even though their sizings are not true to fit as they claim these items are 'customized', 'made to measure' or 'made to order', which they aren't. They're straight off the shelf, and they are incorrectly sized. So now I have lost £300 simply because their returns policy is outrageous. They are thieves and will just take your money without providing a good service/product.

Disappointing

There needs to be an option for no stars. Tried to place an order with this company, no confirmation page, no confirmation email but still somehow they manage to take my money, which I only realised when they emailed to confirm a delivery I have not received over a week later. I've trawled my neighbourhood thinking I've made an error somewhere and now I'm starting to thing this is a dubious company. I only wish I had read reviews before ordering. There is no way of contacting customer service without an order number. Lesson learned I will not be using this company again or any other company which does not have clear or transparent customer service. Now it appears the only option I have is the hassle of a chargeback which I shall be doing. Moral of the complaint if something seems too good to be true, then it is!

Hit and miss products with appalling customer service

Bought two watch straps, one for fitbit versa lite and one for Fitbit ionic. One is fine and one was so shoddy it fell apart within an hour of being delivered. The company didn’t respond to my email informing them of the fault and then suggested I open a complaint, they ignored that too so I had to go through PayPal. After much back and forth where I sent numerous photos of the damaged item they kept maintaining I hadn’t sent photos. Eventually they agreed to a refund if I sent the damaged item back to China tracked...which would cost more than my refund. Totally hit and miss with products and AWFUL customer services-AVOID

Bought a bluetooth beanie hat for my daughter for Christmas. There are no instructions on how to use it and no way of connecting to bluetooth. There is an outdated USB stick embedded in the hat which is useless. Written twice to the company with no response. This is following another disastrous experience before Christmas, which, to be fair, resulted in a refund of the purchase price. So much trouble dealing with this company. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give it no stars I would. HORRIFIC is the word that springs to mind. DISGUSTING is another. Awful, awful company. Terrible customer service, oh and you get charged a fortune in customs taxes.

Ordered 3 lights, months ago. One works, two don't. One was £100 so I tried to get them to send a replacement. Also worth mentioning that the light that doesn’t work was clearly Ex-stock or a return and the remote was FILTHY. It’s been months and they’ve messed us around and now they’ve had the audacity to turn around and tell us that we need to get an electrician in to sort the light out ourselves. Bearing in mind we ordered the same 2 lights, installed them ourselves and 1 works perfectly but the ex-stock/returned one doesn’t.

Please please do not buy from this…

Please please do not buy from this site. All the clothes are photo shopped looking nothing like the pictures when they arrive. The material is cheap and sizes are way off. Bought my husband a shirt off the site when he put it on it was like a clip out of the hulk he burst out of the material as soon as he bent his arms.. I am now using two tee shirts and the above shirt to clean the windows..and it's not even doing that properly...you've been warned.

I wish I had read the reviews before I placed an order. I bought a coat to wear for my fathers funeral and paid extra to get it here quicker, so response after a week , sent them a message when it’s likely to arrive and sent a Bob standard message that it takes 7 days and had been dispatched day before.
Then they send me a message case closed !!! Not done with them yet.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY under any circumstances. Appalling service. My son ordered a winter coat for his fiancé, it was like a piece of rag and only useful for animal bedding, so thin it wouldn’t be of any use. It was £60 so wasn’t cheap, they’ve offered thirty percent refund which is only £18 and keep the piece of rag too or he could pay postage to send back to China (although address on envelope is in Manchester) which would take up to three months to get there and get forty percent of money back. The whole thing is a SHAM. No option is viable. CON CON CON

I would not recommend this company

I would not recommend this company. Product took a while to arrive came with an EU plug not UK. Tried to return for refund. Said I could pay for the postage back to China or accept a 20% refund. Absolutely disgusting - have paid for a product that will go in the bin!!
