LED light never worked properly have to buy Non-LED Replacement
I have purchased many items from Lighting New York. All items were nice and competitive pricing at the time a few years back. I purchased a group of exterior lights. One pendant for our porch and two sconces for our garage. The pendant light never worked properly. The LED light lasted a short period of time and they sent us a replacement bulb. It was a lot of work to change the LED light. The replacement lasted a short period of time. Then we got a third replacement bulb that did not last. Now it is out of warranty and we are not going to keep adding bulbs that do not work.
I contacted LNY about this issue and asked if they would work with me on a replacement to a NON-LED light that is the same design as the current (I need to match the garage lights). They did not do a thing. In fact the customer service rep told me they would send me information on the replacement etc. Basically it was a brush off tactic. The email that came back was made up about our conversation informing me that the light we had was out of warranty. We both knew that in the original conversation. I wanted to see if they would discount the replacement given the issues I had with the LED. They did not. I need the light so there you go.
Horrible company
I ordered a replacement globe for a pendant light in October of 2024. When I ordered, they mentioned a backorder. I was given a delivery date and when it passed, they told me February 2025. I called in February and they them told me July 2025. Still no globe, now it's September 25. No communication unless I start it.
These folks are competent
These folks are competent. Although my first order had to be returned (it was partially my fault and the return was handled efficiently), the following order I was sent to a factory technician for my particular fan who promptly guided me to the right product.

Do not believe anything they tell you related to shipping/ time or how long it takes to process an order.
I am speaking solely from my experience.
I called to verify how long it would take to send my order out after it was received.
I was told; " items usually go out the same day".
So I send an email and receive little more than a response.
I call; I am then imformed it will take at least another 3 days.
And when I say, "another 3 days"; the customer service person I called today said, " it takes 2 business days to ship an order".
So, I place an order on Thursday and it will ship possibly on Wednesday; possibly?
Well that; liars @ New York Lighting is UNACCEPTABLE!
Stop lying to me; your customer!
Be honest!
Tell the truth!
Update your website so that it will not deceive customers into thinking what they read; you will actually do!
And finally; don't reach out to me for some BS explanation or apology!
Don't waste precious time on a response.
I would suggest your time would be better served working to get your packages processed and shipped in a timely manner, as you state on your webpage!

Great prices and quality
They do not honor manufacturer's warranty on clearance items.
They do not honor manufacturer's lifetime warranties on clearance items and they don't disclose this. I tried to get warranty help with a clearance item that was defective from the beginning, all I got was a lengthy run around then an offer of store credit for the amount paid...as if I'd want to do business with them ever again? The main reason I purchased the item along with pricing was the stated lifetime warranty on the fan motor. If you care about a product's warranty that you're going to purchase, save yourself time and irritation and shop elsewhere.

Excellent customer service
Absolutely outstanding customer service. If you have any questions about items on the site, don't hesitate to call. They answer the phone quickly and the representatives are so helpful. I just ordered Big Ass Haiku L ceiling fans. The prices here were significantly lower than on the manufacturer's site! If you call, you may even get an unadvertised sale price. Follow up has been excellent.
