DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. I bought 2 bikinis, i even messaged them before i bought anything, to ask about them. they promptly replied. they appeared good and efficiant. That is where it ended,I wondered why the delivery was taking so long and found they were shipping from China, I thought this was strange. they actually did arrive, NOT the ones i had ordered, completely different, different shape, type, in a lot smaller size, so no good what so ever. I have tried to contact them in multiple ways and they do not reply to e mails, chat and no way of contacting them. Just a con site. so no chance of the order or a refund.

Company under new ownership. Not answered email request regarding return of goods as no return slip was inside the parcel received from China. No details how to return goods on their site, only to return goods with slip that should have been inside the original bag.
All 5 items received poor quality wrong size. If no response from company I will be getting in contact with my credit card company to initiate a chargeback.

Took over 2 weeks to arrive came from China with a return name of Edward at Feltham on parcel which is Heathrow Airport area.
Sizing wrong all odd too small in parts large in other.
Several derivatives of company names???
Wish I hadn’t bothered with this company.
Have requested full refund ????
Safer to stick to Amazon purchases better and instant returns.

Don’t waste your money

The range of clothes at Lily Ella look amazing for mature ladies. I purchased a bikini four weeks ago which showed in stock. Still no sign of it, I contacted the company and immediately got an email back to say it’s on its way but still no sign of it. The tracking shows it’s in China! Now I can expect a pile of rubbish to turn up, if it ever does. I would not bother to order from this company even though the products are appealing. No one answers the phone, impossible to sort anything out so it’s just throwing your money away. AWEFUL COMPANY!!!!

May have ceased trading? No delivery after 10 days

Ordered an item on 20 April, said it had been despatched a few days later but no sign of any package after a week. No response to multiple emails requesting delivery date. Tried telephoning the number in the company description in Trustpilot but this is an invalid number. Called last known address on website and told that the company had ceased trading some years ago. So why still advertising on Facebook??
Will ask the credit card company for our money back if it has not arrived in 21 days.

Ordered size 7 sent size 5. Told I could keep the size 5 and order a size 7 for free.
Not able to return or get a refund -very disappointed
By the way dont bother trying to contact them this company just sends out a standard e mail when it can be bothered to. plus tried ringing and just beeping at the end.

Would not recommend

I ordered a pair of shoes that took over a month to arrive and when they eventually did arrive I had been sent were the wrong size, I ordered size 5/38 and received size 36! Very disappointingly when I opened the package, there was an overwhelming smell of plastic and glue and they were badly made out of
Unbelievably, when I contacted the company over their error , they totally dismissed my request to return them on the grounds that they were in the sale !!

Non delivery

I ordered a dress in the 4th August and it still hasn’t arrived - 18th August. I wouldn’t mind the delay if someone would get back to me with an update. I have called many times but always hear that they are all busy and I have emailed 4 times. Once direct to them and twice through the ‘shop’ app. Are they still in business if aren’t they. I get different information every time I look on the internet,

Very disappointed in your dresses. All made for tall people too much dress for me. In the past I have bought number of dresses from you straight shift type which have fitted perfectly. I couldn’t see anything similar in your collection.

Always loved Lily Ella but the new company don’t make contact ! Don’t seem to have much stock either . Say spring summer catalogue on its way ! Bit late for spring ! Has this take over company ceased trading too . Think they should come clean ! Poor

The green dress was cheap in every way. It didn't suit me.

The dress wasn't shaped and of thin material. It was very cheap tho' so what could I expect. I paid the postage at my end to return it and then was charged by them for postage!! So not pleased!!

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing experience, it's frustrating when a purchase doesn't meet our expectations, especially when it comes to the quality and fit of clothing items. It sounds like the material and construction of the dress didn't live up to your standards, and the additional charges for return postage only added to your frustration.

It's important for companies to ensure transparency and fairness in their return policies, so I understand your disappointment with being charged for return postage. We recently made the decision recently to clear out our stock with a phenomenal sale of less than £10 per garment, sometimes saving over £200 and with a typical saving of £70 per garment.

With us only making around £1 or £2 per product selling them at this price, we simply can't afford to pay £3/4 to Royal Mail for you to return an item and then pay staff to restock it for free - if we did this, we would quickly go out of business making a loss on every returned order.

The returns fee however, is temporary, and free returns may return once a new range comes in the Spring as selling items at full price gives us the leeway to do so. Despite this, we thank you for sharing your review, and I hope your future shopping experiences are more positive. If you need any further assistance or have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Excellent beautifully made clothes. I had already fancied the clothes I bought in an earlier email when they were full price. I am delighted that the clothes I bought were so fantastic delivered on time will certainly continue to buy from Lily Ella's and recommend the firm to my friends
