Genuinely amazed by how rude and obnoxious their customer service is!

Unfortunately my experience is similar to many below - good price & quick delivery but I was truly amazed by how rude and obnoxious the owners were when something went wrong. They appear to be entirely ignorant of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (with respect to goods of satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose) or their responsibilities under it (to replace or refund such items) and are content to flout it - perhaps because its so difficult for consumers to do anything about.

The item I purchased was sub-standard and broke while putting it together. I was asked to send proof (I sent photos) and was told (over the phone) that I had clearly used a "sledgehammer to put it together and had broken it on purpose." Honestly - those exact words! Why would you purposely break something you just bought for your child, and were looking to replace!?

Linenstore-UK Ltd refused to offer a replacement or refund and stated that they "...would no longer discuss the matter." They requested that all future correspondence be in writing. I therefore contacted Trading Standards (who already had them on record) and sent a recorded delivery letter. Unfortunately as I have had no response at all I will now commence Small Claims Court proceedings against them.

So, I guess the summary is be cautious - there is a reason their prices are cheap, they don't apply the law or the standards that other companies do. I certainly won't ever use them again that's for sure.

Poor service

The item I ordered was faulty I didn't realise until after I had thrown the packaging away. I contacted the company for help with the matter. They did not reply!
The item was expensive and I was left disappointed. I would not use this company again.
