it's a scam - get emails someone logged in to my account and i dont have one

Scam! Getting messages saying someone is logging into my account etc… I have no account!

Obvious scam, link.com prentends they "have a thorough review process for sites". I guess I was tired, and just payed a faked government site, thinking the payment provider sounded legit and DSP2 regulations would let me confirm my transaction anyway. Support was not helpful: 'we will investigate but cannot keep you informed for privacy reasons'. LOL (or not) :-(
Update: contrary to what the reply says, it's not about a rogue scammer finding complex ways to bypass Link's security checks and reviews, but the complete lack thereof: the site is still there, pretending to be a government site, happily accepting new payments through Link.com . I guess getting their 2% is more than enough for Link to participate in this money laundering scam.

I don't know what your site is, but it keeps trying to sign me up and acts as if it already has my details when trying to buy something online- not clear if it does or not but seems dodgy as hell.

I purchased Clarks shoes a few weeks ago to be delivered to Abu Dhabi. The website is called wwwClarkssa, and it looked legit, but interestingly, the payment link took me to Link.com, where I made the payment. The confirmatory email looked dodgy and not from Clarks! Now, after 3 weeks, items have not been delivered. The seller is not contactable, and it's clear that I was scammed. Link.com seems to have colluded with the scammer, as they refused to help in any way, though the payment was supposedly made and protected by them. They said, I need to sort it out with my bank! Guys, stop making any payments through linkdotcom; they are no longer trustworthy. I contacted their online support line last night, and tonight, all their replies are autogenerated/AI. Cut and paste from the replies I received last night. BEWARE OF LINK PLATFORM FOR MAKING ONLINE PAYMENT

Bought some practice tests for law from a site . They did not send anything(supposed ro download after payment) . Contact was only through whatsapp with a bogus number. Payment was made with link where I have an account . When I asked the details of this company they gave me an email address and a garbage Facebook link. I insisted and was told they do not have a name or address or phone number! So how can you process payments for scammers and do not due minimum due diligence > They told me also they do a rigorous check of the customers . Yes indeed ....

I have made an account at link.com beliving that they are a guarantee as a mediator between me and an online store. it turned out it was a scam operation and link.com has failed in recognizing it. they are also not going to take any action in contacting the webstore i purchased the item from. quite a dissapointment
They only give me 20 percent off not 40 percent
such wonderfull staff everyone had really great time and they are really helpfull any time they are happy to help and answer any question
Looking at Link operation it is suspected that its procedures lend itself to improper collection of identity data and dopes not provide appropriate cancellation or refusal processes for unwilling participants.

Most likely a scam. I received a (unsolicited) verification code on my cell phone number, as if I was registering on the platform, and it ended with "to stop receiving these messages, access (a legitimate link to their page)", which doesn't make sense for this type of verification code message. Didn't even click. Shady as f...
Unbelievable! It said 100% free! So I made flyers, for my business using a QR code they gave me. After handing out hundreds of flyers, I find out it's a cold doesn't work! Now they want $35 a month, what a scam! False advertisement! Misleading! Very upset!!!! 🤬
NO ! Scammer working with other scammers. I clicked on a link in Instagram to a fake website (JYSK) and the payment was processed (stolen) by Link. DO NOT USE THEM !!!!
I made a crypto payment of 70$, and I've been charged an extra 70$ and they are not giving it back. They are saying it could be the fee, when there is written black on white that the fees are 3%-5%... would totally NOT RECOMMEND using it.
I have previously paid for subscriptions via LINK. There is a box to tick if you consent to your card details being kept for next time. I never consent. However, this year I found that LINK had retained my card details without my permission.
This year we tried paying with a different card, entered the details and all seemed ok including having to authorise this new card on the bank App. Of course, no consent given to LINK to retain the new card. Strangely the money was taken on the previous card without authorisation, and the new card details were retained. WTF!
Now, another word of caution, if your card details are retained...and payments are taken out, with or without your knowledge, there is NO requirement to authorise payments on the bank App (as repeat payment), so you may never know.
Avoid LINK in you can and check your statements.
Wonderfull and than,The work you have done is very good and helpful. BEA - Dharmapuri
