We have purchased two homes and had a really great experience. Would highly recommend to people looking to build their dream home.Working with Larry was amazing , from the moment we met, choosing the right house plan to scheduling and delivering the materials on the site.

Linwood package was excellent. Good design, very detailed plans, ample very good quality material supplied. Foundation contractor did a great job on very difficult terrain.
Framing was not so great. Beams cut too short and off level, columns missing or missplaced, floor joist run wrong direction and more. .Ie contractor did not seem to understand post and beam construction or be able to read plans. Over all quality of workmanship was poor.
Next time I'll buy the package from Linwood and find my own contractor to build.

We had a very good experience and would recommend Linwood and Summersweet to anyone thinking of a reno or new build.

My experience with Linwood was Exceptional.
Brad Grindler is a master at his craft. We had several unanticipated hurdles that were handled professionally by Brad and Linwood. I am so impressed and would recommend them to anyone.

Lynwood homes was quite thorough from start to finish. RIght from providing me with a projected budget to helping with permits and such. Quality of product and workmanship was excellent. Any problems that were encountered were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Beautiful Retirement Home
Very happy with the material that arrived on site. Being first time home builders we missed some small details on the drawing regarding the exterior finish (siding not going down to grade level on some walls) leaving an unfinished appearance. We used the Linwood area rep to build the home, installers did a good job, but would have been nice to know that only 3 guys would be building the whole home. Took longer than we were expecting which effected the schedule of other contractors. We did appreciate that we could arrange our own contractors for the interior finishes (electrican, plumber etc).

Great experience with Linwood from start to finish. Very flexible and responsive to all our requests for change during the design phase. Materials were shipped and delivered as promised. Everything absolutely top quality. We love our Linwood cottage!!

Very accommodating during the design phase. First rate quality on lumber materials (probably because it all comes from BC). No shortcuts in their design and material specs, and their preferred contractor list included only quality builders. We were also fortunate that the final results of our build benefited from my choice of quality sub-trades. Would like to see Linwood offer the maintenance-free CanExcel prefinished siding material as an option to their natural wood products (more durable, maintenance-free).

I am very happy with Linwood. This is the second home I have built with Linwood. They were very helpful to turn my plans into a workable architectural plan and the execution was right on time with frequent updates. everybody involved in the project has been very communicative and any follow up requests were promptly attended to. Even now 3 years later, any service call is answered with a few hours. Very happy with the follow up service. This was a difficult house to built because we had to keep existing footprints of the old house and therefore we were facing some difficulties about placement of pipes and wires. But with their expertise, things were done exactly the way I had envisioned and I got the house that I wanted. I would recommend them to anybody considering building a new house.

Linwood custom designed a guest "bunkie" with full bathroom and laundry facility. The design matched our needs perfectly, the materials for the bunkie were 1st rate, delivery of all materials was seamless and on schedule, and we have thoroughly enjoyed using our "guest house". All family members and friends have commented on the high quality, workmanship and appeal of our Linwood "bunkie".

We were so pleased with our experience collaborating with Linwood Homes that we are now moving forward with them once again on a total rebuild of our main cabin. We highly recommend Linwood Homes. Their attention to detail and friendly, professional service is exceptional.
