Overall experience not awful, but not great. Car was collected near enough on time, photos were taken of the exterior of the car and mileage taken. On my return had to wait about 30mins for my car on... See more

They kept me waiting for over 50 minutes, kept making excuses and then stopped picking up the phone. Awful service. Do not use them

This company drove my car whilst I was away and I have received a ulez fine in the post. Despite them admitting liability they’ve still not paid the fine. Admin team unreachable after multiple emails. Now having to involve the police. DO NOT USE
Awful experience.
Had to wait 45 minutes for an operator to turn up at the airport car park. Needed 3 phone phone calls. Eventually a random guy turned up who was a friend of the company and not an employee. Car was returned muddy.
What a terrible company.
Bad LHR T4 EXPERIENCE
Recently used this company and on way to airport got stuck in traffic they did call me roughly on my booked arrival time and I told they we were delayed so they simply said give us a call when nearer.
Eventually cleared traffic and arrived 2hrs 10mins past my booked time after calling they simply said you are past your 2hr allocated time slot so an additional £20 would have to be paid.
NOTHING stated in the printed documentation that I could find but they may have it in their T&C's small print. Once driver arrived to pick up car he insisted on the £20 but cash only plus the car park £7.50 exit fee with no receipts.
On return we called as instructed only to have to then wait an hour and 2 more further calls to get the driver there with my car.
Car was full of mud!!!!!
Where was my reduction for having to wait 1 hr for my car? The driver didn't even apologise simply said where the keys were and walked away without me checking car over.
The car was fine but the service diabolical keep well away my advice.
Cash demanded for late return, no receipt
We were delayed on our return and they charged £35, insisted on cash and gave no receipt. Ignored email request for receipt (to be able to claim from airline).
Ok in terms of time taken to drop off and collect. Car was fine.
Sadly a 90 minute wait on return
The car was picked up promptly at Heathrow. We weren't given any receipt. Unfortunately we had to wait almost 90 minutes on return to the airport. Not what's wanted after a long flight. They did apologise and pay our £7.50 car park ticket and said we would get half price parking next time. However, I have emailed them twice to ask for this compensation but had no reply. I appreciate mistakes can be made but the least they could do would be to honour their offer of compensation.
1hr 45 mins to return my car
1hr 45 mins to return my car to me. Lies lies and more lies. Avoid!
WARNING AVOID AT ALL COST
WARNING AVOID AT ALL COST. Used the comparison site Compare Parking Prices and booked through them. The company turned out to be LionParking. I had booked meet and greet for Heathrow terminal 2. On the instructions it said to ring the company when you are 30 mins away from the terminal. I did this and gave them my satnav ETA. When I arrived no-one a there to receive the car. Rang the number again went to voicemail. Rang again and said someone would be there in 10 mins, 20 mins later no-one had turned up. Rang again and eventually a person turned up, and I was getting anxious about making the flight. He asked me to pay the parking £7.50, On my return I rang the number and went to voicemail but I received a return call and was told that the car would be there in 15 minutes. The car did arrive but I was told that the battery was flat and they had to jump start. I had a new battery fitted two days before taking the car to Heathrow. Again I was asked to pay the parking another £7.50, so now it £15.00 over the parking charge I had already paid. I drove off down the M25 and the drivers side windscreen wiper became detached whilst I was moving at 65mph in the centre lane, at night, and in heavy rain and heavy traffic. I had to pull over to the hard shoulder and attempt to repair the wiper, which eventually broke. I managed to get off the M25 and made it home although it was touch and go. When I got home I bought a new windscreen wiper I noticed that my windscreen was scratched by the broken wiper. I also noticed that the passenger side wiper was also loose, it looked as if it had been removed and not put back correctly. I am now looking at a windscreen repair or possibly a new windscreen. This has cost me extra, at a minimum an extra £15 and possibly much more. IF you can imagine being on the hard shoulder at night trying to repair your car with heavy trucks thundering past at 60+ one false move and it would have been fatal.
My vehicle was scratched while…
My vehicle was scratched while delivering the vehicle on T2 terminal heathrow. The driver who came to deliver ran away from the scene. No response from the company, when wrote to them about the incident and repairing cost. Pathetic company and not professional. Do not take parking service from them
Bad communication & corrupt drivers
After collecting our luggage & calling the company, we waited for an hour for our car to be returned.
The number we were given kept on going to voicemail so we couldn't speak to the company unless we called the number over 10 times.
When we eventually received a call from the driver we were told we would have to pay him extra - in cash - if we want our car returned, as our MOT had run out whilst we had been abroad.
A horrible experience and it could so easily have been rectified if we could get hold of the Head Office to discuss, & if anyone had bothered to call us back.

Disgusting service and my car was delivered back to me filthy and no one replied to complaint. Avoid using this company
DAMAGED MY CAR
I booked under Heathrow Meet and Greet (they're no doubt doing this to to try & look like the official parking), then was given a ticket with Lion Parking when they collected it. I collected the car at 11pm & it was dark and the car was wet - I did a quick walk around and it looked okay. It was only the following morning when home (parked on a private drive) that I noticed the headlight was out of place and a long bad scratch on the bumper under the headlight. The £50 saved vs the others will now cost me at least £500 in repairs. Avoid.
AVOID/ THEY DAMAGED MY VEHICLE AND TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY
Booked Meet& Greet with Lion parking Heathrow T3 and it went all smooth until I encountered a damaged on my vehicle on my return.
Called them several times but all they said was the manager responsible who would deal with it wasn’t there but would be there tomorrow from 3pm. And the same conversation went on every time I called them.
Sent an email and they asked for 7 days to investigate the matter. 7 days gone and didn’t hear from them. Called again but same problem “ manager is not available today but will be there tomorrow from 3pm”. They basically take no responsibility if your vehicle gets damaged whilst under their care so AVOID THIS COMPANY otherwise you might end up with a huge bill to fix your vehicle.
Awful *DO NOT USE*
Awful, horrible experience before and after. Never on time and always late having to wait 30-40 mins even with the advance warning. DO NOT USE. Staff are terrible and don’t give a damn.
Don’t use this company
Don’t use this company. They offer a refund in the event you can’t travel but that happened to me and they did not return my funds. The warning signs began when I rang the number they gave on the confirmation email to call 30 mins before arrival and I couldn’t get an answer! I emailed and no reply. Finally I got through via the number and the guy tells me to send him a text with the details. No refund five weeks later. Further texts and emails pointless. Be warned, total rip off merchants.
Good service and price
Good service and price. All went like clockwork with the phone calls, delivery and pickup, and the car was cleaner than when I dropped it off. Because of this I have booked them again for the next trip, though to be fair, i might not after reading the recent reviews! To be fair, it is clear that you pay the car park fees like with most other meet and greet companies.
Awful
Awful! Stay clear, car was filthy on return, but at worst £55 in coins stolen from a zipped bag hidden in centre console under items, to trust a business with your car and to be taken advantage of doesn't sit right with me. STAY CLEAR!

Flight landed late at night, and they had the flight times/flight no. As it had gone 12am by the time we got our luggage they said you are lucky we picked the phone up, we don’t pick up after 12am. Was shocked by this, don’t they know flights land gone 12? When they finally delivered the car at the airport, I was told I had to pay another £25 as it was gone 12am. I had to stand there in the freezing cold, log onto my bank account and transfer the money there & then as they did not have a card reader. When you have been travelling 24hrs this is the last thing you need. I asked to talk to the Manager, but got no where. You know you are going to be ripped off. You will also be told that you have to pay for the car parking when they collect and drop the car off. I think that was another £15 in total. The car was lovely and clean when we dropped it off as I had it washed and cleaned inside. When we collected it, it was filthy, mud up both sides of the car, they blamed it on the weather, funny that. Muddy foot prints in the back (why?) and mud over back seat. I said why is this so dirty you left it in the field? I did track the car partly whilst away. It ended up in Datchet, Slough and then nearer the airport. When goggling the area it looked very strange, not a compound with loads of cars which I thought it would be, there was a field!! Not sure if they took it elsewhere, but enough miles were done. Just hate not knowing what it was used for. I should have seen red, as I never received any literature to say if you are later than 12am you have to pay extra, and you have to pay for them to enter and exit the car park. In a way I wish I hadn’t paid as I feel they are sharks & bullies. Ruined what was a good trip away. Thank you Lion Parking for ruining the end of my trip. Be careful, I booked this through the compare your parking website & they have this company down as 4.8 out of 5.0. Not sure why these companies take on advertising for these companies, I suppose it’s all down to money. Sad times #dontgetrippedoff another comment, I said what If you didn’t pick the phone up at gone 12am, he shrugged his shoulders, & I said, r u saying we would be stranded at the airport with no car? He smiled 😡 not good that time of night. Would of ment getting a taxi home which was 2hrs away or a hotel another £300.+ very stressful then getting the car back. Will think differently next time I fly from Heathrow T4. Think I should have called the police! Theft in away!!
NEVER AGAIN !
We used this service at Heathrow Terminal 4 and wish we had not. We were greeted at the drop off spot by a very aggressive, unfriendly, argumentative, stubborn and overall frustrating member of the Lion Parking team who was arguing with us that our car's MOT had expired and therefore was being driven illegally ! After demonstrating that the DVLA records confirmed that the MOT had been renewed 2 days prior, he was still arguing that his system showed the MOT had expired whilst all it was saying was that the MOT expiry date was on 16/01. He did not apologise or admitted he was mistaken. He then gave us a parking ticket which I had to go and pay for (£7.50) so he could take the car away. He took the key but did not give us any receipt in return. No need he said - whilst he did not trust us regarding the MOT situation, we, on the other end, had to trust him with our car ! On our return yesterday, the car was brought to us rather promptly. We waited 5 to 10 minutes but again when it arrived the driver pointed out to us that the MOT had expired ! And the same conversation had to be had .... Another ticket was handed over for payment - another £7.50 ! No ID check to confirm we were the owners of the car - nothing. The driver just gave us the keys because we walked up to him !!! A very bad experience not to mention the worry of having left our car with a company whose staff had been so unprofessional. WE WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND URGE ANYONE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING.

I strongly advise against using this parking service. Upon landing, I called to inform them about collecting my luggage, but they asked me to call back after collecting it. Unfortunately, when I did, no one answered the phone for about half an hour. When someone finally picked up, they assured me that the car would arrive in 10-15 minutes, but it took more than half an hour. They should be waiting for the customer after taking the payment, not the other way around. Waiting for the car took around an hour when I returned from Thailand, and it was -5°C outside, which was really unpleasant. To top it off, the inside of the car was covered in sand, even though I had cleaned it before my departure. I definitely do not recommend this service—it's not worth the stress dealing with people who don't respect their customers.
