SCAM - they lie, they don't respond when caught
I have done my very best to prevent the situation that has occurred from happening. At no fault of my own, the fraudulent efforts of advertising items they don’t have in stock, fully charging me for an order that is still only partially fulfilled, violating federal and state alcohol laws, misleading and/or lying regarding their corrective action, and not responding to correct the issue, this company has led to the current outcome. As you can see from the evidence, the vendor only responded to deceive and delay corrective action in the hope that there was no recourse, as this “misleading shipment delivery took place”
They will not return the bottle sent nor refund me for the bottle not sent. Credit Card company is indicating they sent something so what can they do...
Terrible company
Terrible company , customer service is rude and unhelpful. They don’t ship promptly, communicate poorly, and overall provide a very poor experience. Do not order from this business, you’ll be disappointed.
Worst ever online purchase experience
Ordering from liquor stars has been the absolute worst online experience I have ever had. I was charged on day 1 and then the order was never fulfilled for over 40 days. Over that time frame I had multiple conversations with personnel at the company and was assured that my order was going to be shipped "priority" within 48 hours. My order was ultimately canceled (their doing); however, they only refunded me for the item and not for the >$125 "Liquor Stars Shipping Protection" coverage I paid.

Blanton rip off…
I ordered a bottle of Blanton’s bourbon and paid extra for “shipping protection”. UPS shipped it all the way to an adjacent town and was listed as out for delivery on 07/30/2025. Then it was listed as delayed. When after a week I tried to file a claim it said it was damaged and a claim was already filed. When I called UPS they said for me to contact the sender. I have already sent 2 emails to Liquor Stars and have not received a reply. When I tried to call Liquor Stars at 3:00 Central Time, I got a message saying they were closed and to call back during business hours. It was 1:00 their time and they claim to call by 5:00 their time. I’m out $160 and want someone to step up.

I purchased 3 bottles. One bottle of Blantons and two bottles of Buffalo Trace. Yes, I paid for the worthless "Liquor Stars Delivery Protection"
Day of delivery, UPS driver rings the doorbell, I open the door and it smelled as if the driver just left a bar.
He's like, "I thought you should see this" The package was obviously leaking fluids. He said his entire truck smelled like a distillery, and I can see why. We cut the box open to take pics of the contents. The neck of the Blantons was broken off and the bottle was empty. One of the bottles of Buffalo Trace had the neck cracked and the bottle was empty. A complete amateur who doesn't care about life packed this disaster. Completely inept!!
Obviously, I refused the delivery.
TRIED, multiple times, to contact this miserable excuse of a company through their customer service number. DON'T bother!! that number NEVER gets answered and tells you to contact via Email. DON'T waste your time with that either. It will go unanswered. They gladly took my money with having zero intent of fulfilling my order and that's okay. I don't lose sleep over stuff like this.
My credit card company LOVES me. After never getting a response from the Liquor Losers, I filed a dispute with my credit card people and they reassured me the charges would get reversed promptly. It's only $242.00. I've been screwed out of a lot more in my lifetime.

Poor Communication, Misleading Shipping Promises
I placed an order for two bottles of Pappy Van Winkle from Liquor Stars, listed as in stock, for a retirement gift. To ensure timely delivery, I selected and paid a very high fee for their “overnight” shipping option.
Before ordering, I attempted to confirm by phone and email that the items would arrive on time. Phone calls were never answered. After ordering, I received emails stating the order had shipped and would arrive as promised. However, the tracking information later showed only that a UPS label had been created—no package was in transit. One bottle arrived late, and nearly a month later, the second has still not been delivered.
I have sent five follow-up emails with no reply and made multiple unanswered phone calls. In my experience, the inventory status appeared inaccurate, and the paid expedited shipping service was not fulfilled as described.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Liquor Stars and encourage others to exercise caution when ordering. I am also filing a complaint, hoping to force an investigation into their business practices.
Avoid these folks like the plague!!
Bought the shipment insurance for a very expensive bottle of Blanton's and sure enough, product was never delivered due to damage.
That being said, these folks have a customer service number that is NEVER answered, and several emails have been ignored.

Love their quantities and variety they carry but the customer service is dismal at best. Prices are great, ordered on July 11th, 2025, and it is now August 4th, 2025 and still have not received my full order with no email or call on when to expect it. I love the good prices but I not sure giving great customer service is worth it. I would rather pay a little extra and receive way better service.

It’s been over two months and they still have not fulfilled my order. The first few weeks they kept saying that it was in the process of being shipped. Then they said it was shipped with no tracking information. Now they will not respond to phone text or email. Would not recommend this site to anybody.

Liquorstars.com is a rip off and scam. Ordered two bottles of Blantons on June 8th which were advertised as in stock and its now July 28th and still have not received them. I've emailed their customer service several times with no response and have also called several times only to get a message that says their customer service reps are not available. They charged me for the bottles and stole my money. I would highly recommend never buying anything from Liquorstars.com

I wish I could give them zero stars. I placed an order for over $400, and unlike most other online merchants, they charged my credit card immediately instead of when they ship. Ten days after ordering, the order status still showed "Unfulfilled". I asked for a status update, and the response I received was "We will forward tracking shortly." After another five days passed, the order still showing "Unfulfilled", I asked for my order to be cancelled and refunded, only to be informed I would be charged a 15% cancellation fee. EVERY item I ordered stated "IN STOCK" on their website, so why are they unable to fill an order in less than two weeks? I suspect the "IN STOCK" was FALSE ADVERTISING. I cannot recommend strongly enough to NEVER do business with this company, and I am wondering how much of their revenue comes from cancellation fees.
2nd times a charm
This is the 2nd time I have bought thru Liquor Stars. The first experience was not as I had hoped, but after speaking with them directly, I decided to give them another order. This time they were right on in delivery and date for shipping. After having both good and bad experiences, I can highly recommend them for your on line purchases. You can give a good rating for anyone who doesn't have a problem, however, the real test is how it is handled when something doesn't go right. Great job Liquor Stars!
Do NOT Use This Company -- Horrid Customer Service Follow-Up
The first time I used this company everything went great! The second time I used this company for a second order totaling over $400+ they charged my credit card on July 10th -- but I NEVER received a confirmation email, nor delivery/tracking information. After NUMEROUS attempts of trying to reach out for clarification on this second order -- for over 4 days -- this company has apparently "ghosted me!??!" I have also made several request on THEIR "contact us" page without a single follow-up over the past 4 days! When you attempt to telephone the business directly, during the hours that they state on their recorded line -- ("12:15 pm until 5:00 pm" West Coast Time) THEY NEVER ANSWER!! Finally today, after I sent what would be my LAST email and file my dispute/refund with my CC folks, I received my very FIRST response in 4 days, (which by the way was alarmingly threatening) telling me that I was being "fraudulent." This total LACK of any kind of professional customer service is mind boggling! All they had to do to salvage this purchase and retain me as a customer was to provide professional customer service and CALL me as I had requested to confirm and/or straighten ANY issue out regarding this order. They REFUSED all attempted contacts to do so!! I do NOT beg any business to take my money! However, I'm totally confused as to how and why they handled this second order. I must say moving forward -- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Not reimbursed for lost package
Even with the horrible reviews decided to give them a try. Was going great until a package got lost in the mail and they refused to cover it even tho there’s shipping insurance. So expensive bottle lost and no reimbursement! Then just months of arguing about it. Terrible terrible outcome. Avoid!
Not worth the risk
I placed an order for five bottles from LiquorStars.com on May 30. I received two bottles on June 6, a third on June 9, and contacted the seller on June 11 about the missing two. They responded and said they would ship them. On June 18, I received a fourth bottle—but the fifth was missing from the box. The shipment weighed only 4 lbs, far less than two bottles they stated were in the shipment.
I’ve contacted them multiple times since then with no reply. As of now (June 24), I still have not received the final bottle or a refund for the almost $600.00 they owe me. Buyers beware of buying from them, especially for high-end purchases!
This company has poor follow-through and even worse customer service. No one answers their phone calls and their chat does not work. If they make a mistake, you're likely to be ignored. I’d strongly advise against ordering from LiquorStars.com.
