Great app - not only does it encourage you to recycle, you get rewarded for it! There have been some technical issues recently but Lucy and the team have been amazing at resolving the issues.

As a countryside walker l was dismayed as the thoughtlessness of my fellow man. All l can (no pun intended) say is that there must be a lot of cider fuelled drivers out there. First time l do street picks a bin bag is often not big enough but l will win in the end as litter levels drop . Litter Lotto is a fantastic idea and well done to all who are involved. A tidy community is sending the message that its community cares! (Broken Windows Theory).

Great idea for making our town nice and clean. I do it with my kids and it’s a wonderful opportunity to talk about environment too.

Litterlotto just revamped the app, all my 1600 coins are lost, no way of contacting them.
I buy trees for Kenya with my coins, this is done through a third party, through another third party who told me they don’t partner with Litterlotto?!

I always thought this was a Green Wash, but in the beginning you earned actual cash, and I pick up litter anyway so went with it but I suspect, given it’s basically McDonalds who put up the backing they feel like they have spent enough or it’s not having the desired effect so they are pulling it, all this “ the council in your area doesn’t support us”, is an excuse.

Great incentive get your kids downloading for pocket money!!

Having said this I am now having issues with the application like others mentioned also, so I can no longer play which isn't great.🤷🏼‍♀️😢

Wow! Only found out about this app a few weeks ago. Picking up litter when walking the dog and taking a picture putting it in a bin to earn coins and entries into jackpot draws. £100 council jackpot won after only a couple of weeks.

Fantastic app! I strongly advise you to try it out and give it a chance.

I got £100 (via local/council jackpot) and all I’ve done is bin five pieces of rubbish and taken a photo while doing so. Public bin or the one at home, it doesn’t matter. You’re sometimes asked questions after taking a photo like “Was the bin overflowing?”.

Highly recommend it and just shared it to close friends and family.

I’ve been using the Litter Lotto App since the start, clocking up thousands of items binned. Is great to see less litter on my walks and I’ve earned cash prizes along the way including £100 from a local authority this week.

Brilliant! Yes, I won £100 through incentives from Fife Council. Thankyou! I shall continue to pick up litter on my dog walks. It’s so easy. I always try to pick up four or five items. It may not sound much but it soon makes a difference.

Brilliant idea to incentivise collecting litter in your area. I pick up rubbish every day while walking around our town and walking our dog. I have also been lucky to win a prize from Dorset County Council.

Litter lotto is a brilliant idea for encouraging us to bin waste while on the go. It’s very motivating and the prizes do come especially if you keep binning litter.
