Very slow returns process

Very slow returns process with no communication. Usually companies send you an email acknowledging that a return has been received at least, and usually informing you when the refund will be received or next steps. I heard absolutely nothing for an entire month and was at the point of thinking it had been lost when I finally got an email saying the refund had been processed and would be with me within 10 days.

If you're charging an extortionate £6 return fee, I expect better service than this in return for it.

Terrible customer regard

Not happy. I bought in good faith from Debenhams and then discovered that actually I was being sent items directly from this outfit, from whom I would never have purchased directly. Returned items on 8th December, received by them on 10th December. Two chase ups. one AI template customer service response, and I still have no refund, as apparently they need 15 working days to process - which would take it to 31st December with the holiday period. I have raised a dispute with Klarna, and will be escalating to Debenhams in due course. What a way for a business to carry on. It’s like buying from China off Tiktok.

Terribble customer relations

I ordered a jumpsuit from this company but had to return as it was,nt suitable for me.I knew there was £6 to pay to return but better get some money back than keep a suit that was,nt for me.I requested a return from LM and was directed to their website to generate a return code/label.I downloaded the label and QR code and put the label on the parcel took it along to the post office where they scanned the package and gave me the proof of posting receipt.I have now waited 5 weeks with no response from L.M.4 emails later and still nothing.I have asked Paypal for help but they say the return address was not valid,and the parcel is nowhere to be seen.How is that my fault?it was L.M. website that generated the address label.I was under the impression that if you have a proof of posting receipt that was your insurance.How is this company getting away with this ,at least they should have the good manners to reply to its customers.So it looks like I,ve paid them £27.60 for absolutely nothing.

Dreadful Service.

Dreadful Service.
I ordered an in stock dress 26/10/2025, paid in full. The item immediately went out of stock, and showing as pre-order!
I have contacted the company several times to request the order be cancelled and refunded, with absolutely no response - absolutely appalling!
So I’m currently out of pocket, yes sign of the item I paid for and I had to purchase a different dress from a far more reputable retailer.
Wish I’d read the reviews first, I would not recommend at all!

Appalling company and I will never buy…

Appalling company and I will never buy from them again.

I return a dress over 3 months with the tags on and then get in an email 2 months ago to say the labels weren't on the dress and it smelt of perfume!

The dress was never worn and had labels on when I sent it back, the perfume will be because it was hung up in my wardrobe as it was creased so badly and needed hanging up and I also wear strong perfume.

I then get an email back eventually saying they will be returning, a month later still no dress back.

They hide behind emails don't respond back and no customer service number as they probably would be inundated with complaints.

I will be taking this further as 3 months is disgraceful with no refund for an item that was tampered with at there end

Do don't purchase from them!!!

i ordered two seperate orders from this…

i ordered two seperate orders from this company, one was faulty and one was too small, i requested a refund on both which took a while and was not an easy process as one was showing i had no orders (which i clearly had) so had no way of doing the refund except to email (which took forever for a response) so luckily i paid by my credit card, so i disputed this and got my refund for one item back that way, i am still waiting on my other refund, i have emailed several times chasing this but am not getting any replies, this company is awful i will certainly not be purchasing any items from them again, just beware if you are and if you do use a credit card so at least you can dispute this, which i am now going to have to do for my other refund.

Don't order - Untrustworthy!!

Returned an item after having the confirmation via the website.
Since then no refund and no reply to numerous emails to customer service.
Definitely won't be ordering from them again!!
Avoid at all costs!!

If I could give 0 stars I would!

I never ever write reviews but felt it had too!!
I ordered 3 dresses worth of around £200.

I returned them all via Royal Mail on 10th October, using the tracking number I can see they received the parcel on 13th October.
I emailed them chasing this many, many times now & I’ve had one reply so far on 17th October saying that there’s a 14 day window from when they receive the parcel for refund to be processed (this is day 15 since you’ve received it & day 18 since I sent it back).

I have since sent 4 further emails for an update on this even this morning and yet still NO reply, NO refund, NO confirmation that the refund is even on its way.

I completely understand that things take time, but appreciate a response of acknowledgment via email!!! And after seeing a few reviews on here with the same complaints I would avoid at all costs! I will never, ever order again.

Quick to charge, slow to refund

Ordered 2 items from this company via Dorothy Perkins. Communication regarding delivery was minimal but not sure if this was LM or DP that were responsible for this. Of the 2 items ordered one was fine, the other was awful so returned. The returns form included in the package was of such poor quality I couldn't even make out the order number, so had to contact them for this. I then had to wait (and am STILL waiting) 27 days for the refund to be issued despite their t's and c's stating this will be processed in 14 days of receiving the item back. I have sent multiple emails and been fobbed off and ignored, and to make things worse I will be charged for the return which will be deducted from my refund (when I eventually receive it).

Avoid this store

Avoid this store! Clothes are in bad quality. Not woth the price. I returned items and had to wait more than a month to get refund. They ignored me and didn't replay for my emails. Thankfully I kept the note from the post and this saved me.

Ignored my emails

Returned a dress. Have proof of return and proof it was delivered. They say they can’t find it! So asked for my proof which I sent. No replies to emails since then! Nothing! No refund. Will be asking for it via PayPal. Disgusting service. Especially when there is no phone number to speak to anyone. They just ignore emails.

Did not process returned item

Ordered a dress but returned next day. No communication from Little Mistress re return, no response to email so had to claim refund through PayPal. LM still refused to refund delivery charge and also charged for return so expensive mistake to use them.

Read the reviews.
I ordered jeans that were too big so returned. A couple weeks passed and no confirmation of receipt. I emailed customer services and messaged via social media. Still not response. In the end I disputed payment via Clearpay and I got my money back. My suggestion after reading the reviews is to pay where you can dispute to get your money back.
They do not like to give refunds
NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I never meant to order from this…

I never meant to order from this company again but sadly forgot. It is a real pain to get any information or refund from them. I returned a dress which they received back on the 1.12.23 and I have not heard anything back from them. It’s appalling especially at this time of year. Avoid at all cost.

Avoid like the plague

Little Mistress has failed to deliver my order. To make matters worse, after chasing them several times for a long time they have now deleted my account. I cannot access anything. I have proof that they have stolen money from my bank account!
I had to chase up my bank and finally got the money.
I'm a customer that orders a lot of clothes but they have lost a customer forever.

Bad returns process

I have returned the items which were unsuitable and covered the £8 for the postage fee myself. This was last week and I have not had any update at all. I am dissapointed that in this day and age retailers do not provide you with a returns label, and I had to pay for shipping in the first place.
