People need to stop bringing wildlife to Sue aka little green pigeon; there is no vets on site; birds dont get treated in the correct manner; also Sue doesnt have proper set ups aviaries for further rehabilitation. And if u question her -Sue continues to reply in rude and agressive manner. This is not even a pigeon sanctuary - as all the money she got this aviary is been put back the same no improvements were made whatsover.

Little Green Pigeon is an amazing bird sanctuary run by Sue in West Wales. Apart from sponsoring a pigeon or making a donations there is both a shop and on line shop where you can buy lots of amazing products to sell to support this beautiful bird sanctuary. I would highly recommend their online store where you can buy beautiful gifts for vegans. Little Green Pigeon is so worth supporting as they care so much for their pigeons.

I love this charity. Sue is just so lovely and has given up so much for the birds who she loves so much. There’s so many beautiful items on the website, (some of which are Sue’s own designs!!) it’s hard to choose and it all goes to help the birds which is wonderful. Definitely check it out and support a small uk charity if you can 🩷

We first met Sue and Little Green Pigeon at a festival in 2022 where my son sponsored a pigeon , since then we’ve got to know the sanctuary and Sue well - what a joy - love them both.
Love the merch too- we’ve got a cap, badges, cards and stickers, all beautifully designed and great quality.
Vegan friendly too.

11/05 Updated following info from Susan Joyce where she confirmed that Sophie didnt apologize; and they were both in agreement reg the fact Sophie did send you 11 birds and that was all ok; apparently someone has also stayed in the sanctuary since the storm??? also actual quotes: from Sue: 'I am a brilliant liar and the Queen of Spin Confrontation. As for creating drama that is my favourite thing to do' All this info confirms everything i have put on my review and even tho Sue claims the money goes to the birds - the birds still live in bin boxes. I been following Green Pigeon for a while and have ordered birthday cards and also the pigeon hat from them and I always under the impression that the birds in the sanctuary were well cared for. Then the storm happened which was very sad for the birds. The events that followed after that were shocking to say the least- there was simply a series of inconsistent stories; Sue was simply shouting to people; accusing to take people to court; even calling them w&nkers; a lot of aggressiveness; insisting of the logarithms; and literally verbal abuse instead of just focusing on the birds and informing people of their wellbeing and what did she do with all the money that people donated etc. On top of that the aviary that was blown away was put back in place as it was and a poor dove was placed in there with no other doves or even perches! This unprofessional and aggressive behaviour continued for a while ( even on trustpillot answer reviews- and as I type this i can visualize the agreesive reply back to my review already) So, as we all thought this was the end - no- Sue posted one more story again accusing people who send her the disabled ones and again one more story that didnt match saying she expected 4 she got 11- where beginning of the storm she explained she accepted all the 11 birds and more from various people. Now there is another fundraiser and I wonder whether these poor birds would even see a penny and also for how long this drama will continue for. To the birds that are at Little Green Pigeon - I am sorry you there. Added reply following answer: There was no need for this unprofessional aggressive behaviour and the people who send you their birds deserve an apology and an update on what happened to their birds. Also, if you cannot take disabled birds when asked say no- dont say yes accept them and then say sorry I didnt expect that many. If you have £4000 extra will be good to see what improvements will happen next as so far the set up is not ideal for the birds. Finally, all of this was created by you as you didnt deal with it in a professional and correct manner. No other sanctuaries that I know off when faced with disasters do that- share private messages; accuse to take people to court; name and shame; share donation information; calling them names; play the homeless card. Please just focus on the birds if you really care - coz if you dont pls rehome them all and keep ur shop. Update reply: Sanctuary that went worst things and dealt it professionally and in the right manner- Whitby wildlife. Never shared messages Never made personal vendetta with people accused to take them to court called them names. They focused on the animals. Reg Sophie and ur personall issues with her u said she blocked u and u couldn't contact her -so she has not apologised and u still slugged her off again. I wish all the energy u spend on shouting to people was spent on the animals. And not many homeless people have a business a caravan and land. Final Update: oh my dear Sue. there is this thing that in order to be a good liar you have to cover all basis. Whitby doesnt know you; you simply send them a message saying sorry. And no she didnt ignore anything and she didnt have a breakdown and people who follow whitby they know this v well and also they handled the whole thing very professionally and not aggressive like you creating drama to take attention away from birds; shouting to people calling them w%nkers. reg Sophie she didnt apologize and you agreed to take 11 birds. Sad you dont have more important stuff in ur life going on than this- spreading lies trying to remove reviews instead of simply focusing on the birds- but we all know by now u dont care about them. All v sad. Wont reply anymore. Birds again - i am so sorry. This proves all my points that u are a liar and a manipulative person that used the storm and someone's post to make money for their own personal benefit. U don't care about the birds at all as to you to u are just profit and nothing else. If u cared u would have dedicated money and time to them and provided a good home.

Sue is amazing and takes such good care of the birds.
How awful to see a storm destroyed her aviary, the birds were her main concern and was so nice to see people help in a time of need.
Her shop is lovely and sue is just the nicest and friendliest person. Before she moved and was still in Staffordshire, my little girls found an injured bird with their dad, so they took it to her for help and she was super helpful.

Keep doing an amazing job and thanks for looking after all the birds xxx
