Little Ones is an established London Nanny and Housekeeping agency. We have been specialising in the placement of bilingual and English-speaking Nannies, providing childcare solutions since 2005. We are the leaders in our field. We are proud to promote bilingualism and intercultural understanding through educating children with articulate bilingual and English speaking Childcare-givers. We understand the importance of language development in a child’s early years and we recruit candidates who share the same ethos. We understand that the roles of a Nanny, a Nanny-Housekeeper and a Housekeeper are very different. This is why our consultants are specialists both in the vocations and cultures of the people they place. We guarantee we can make the domestic recruitment process positive, personal and above all stress free.

Disappointed with the services
Disappointed with the services I’ve been provided. I was recommended this agency by a friend as she had gotten a job fairly quickly and said the agents were lovely.
I’ve been signed up with little ones for a few months now and I’m getting nowhere. I feel I’m constantly having to chase for updates or any messages I send as I feel I just get ignored 90% of the time.
I am keen to start a new role asap and I’ve not really had the support in finding anything.

First aid training with littleones
I booked a first aid training with littleones, on the day of the training I came across lovely people. The first aid tutor Gary was amazing, funny and very detailed. It was a 6 hours training but it felt short because it was fun and educating. I highly recommend littleones if anyone requires a childcare services or first aid training. I am looking forward to working for this company in the future.

Little Effort from Little Ones
Our experience with Little Ones was abysmal from start to finish. After paying over £3,500 for what was marketed as a “professional and discerning” recruitment service, we were sent three woefully unsuitable candidates in quick succession — one quit after a single day, another abandoned the role to pursue an entirely different career, and a third had to be dismissed for persistent lateness and poor performance. It felt less like a recruitment process and more like an elaborate exercise in fee extraction.
Despite a clear and detailed brief, it became immediately apparent that Little Ones invests little effort — if any — in understanding clients’ needs or vetting candidates properly. The whole thing amounted to an overpriced CV-forwarding service dressed up as something far more sophisticated.
When we raised our concerns, James Ross vanished behind a wall of deflection, while James Cree replied with a bizarre mixture of platitudes and copy-pasted nonsense seemingly pulled from other correspondence. Rather than acknowledge what was obviously a systemic failure, they hid behind fine print and recycled the same meaningless offer of a “replacement search” — something we had already declined multiple times. At no point did anyone take genuine responsibility or attempt to address the root problem: a careless, unaccountable approach to matching clients with candidates.
Little Ones charges luxury prices for a bargain-basement service. The company’s energy appears devoted not to delivering results, but to defending its own failures and protecting its revenue streams.
After months of wasted time, money, and patience, the only sensible advice we can offer about Little Ones is to steer well clear.
And since you asked so “cheekily” for a five-star review, William Bloomfield — here it is, just not in the way you were hoping.
Update // James: you say in your response that you presented a solution that has been agreed. That is misleading and inaccurate. If you bothered to read my email (to which you have not replied) you would have seen I noted “how unacceptable your remedy is (which unacceptability you seem to accept — noting, as you do, that it is “unlikely to be welcome news”).”
For the reasons explained to you the “solution” you offered — a replacement at some point in the next 36 months — is inadequate. We don’t need a replacement. We found one ourselves because you could not be trusted to do so. So far, she has proved better than any candidate LittleOnes offered.
In any event, your “investigation” still left unanswered question and, as I indicated to you, I expect to receive an answer to those questions rather than stock irrelevancies about DBS checks — which I took no issue with and never raised — and paediatric first aid certifications — which I not only took no issue with but which are of zero relevance to me as this wasn’t a childcare role, which you also knew. The issue here is LittleOnes failing at the most basic task: finding someone whose expectations align with our needs. Telling me that you were transparent about DBS checks* is no answer.
(*for those playing at home, this transparency is essentially “we don’t conduct them, but the candidate said they will obtain one if you ask them for it.”)
If you want to discuss a real solution I remain open to that. As matters stand, I do not consider you have adequately resolved this matter (or in fact to have made any genuine effort to do so).
To anyone reading, James’s response is exactly the sort of non-engagement you can expect from LittleOnes. You’ve heard “all care, no responsibility” - this is “all revenue, no care, no responsibility”. Ask yourself: Is this the type of service you’d expect from an agency you’re trusting to find people who you’ll leave in your house, or with your children?

Very disappointed
Wish I could leave a better review but haven’t had a good experience with their process. Felt very pushed into transferring initial fees quickly and was reassured many times that it won’t be a big issue finding someone with our requirements. After transferring fees - absolute silence, had to chase every other week for an update, empty promises were made saying they might have found someone but then magically they disappear again. I started the process mid July and to date, not a single suitable candidate has been referred.
All in all an absolute disappointment, worked with another agency and they found someone within a month. Upset I wasted money on Little Ones just for being ghosted. Never again.

No vetting - Fake reviews - Fake Candidates
Little Ones London initially placed a Housekeeper / Nanny with my family following an online interview and supposed vetting by Little Ones London, the agent.
Within 48 hours of the individual starting work, she informed us that, extremely unfortunately, her son had committed suicide and ever since she was not in a position to work with children and was leaving.
She had been pressured into doing a mixed role housekeeper / nanny role by the agent. She further stated she had been off work for a number of years although the CV that the agent had vetted showed she was in full time employment during this period.
Per the T&C's of the agency, they are obliged to send us alternative candidates that meet our pre designated requirements (at this point we have already paid them £6,489.60!!), they have since sent us the following candidates:
-2 individuals which they admitted were FAKE 'sample' candidates
-Candidates that are not available for interviews seemingly forever (its been many weeks with no available dates, FAKE?)
-Candidates that don't want to look after children
-Candidates that are not available to work the designated hours
We were referred to James Ross the manager to assist with the problem (you will see a copied and pasted response from him below most likely), he provided no assistance whatsoever, took no responsibility and his responses were at times simply copy and paste.
We are now forced to bring a legal claim again Little Ones (UK) Ltd.
Upon review of their Trustpilot reviews, it is extremely worrying that there appears to be a large number of FAKE reviews posted. They all appear to be almost identical in wording and appear to be forced onto potential candidates to write in order to get interviews!
Stay away!

Eva has been amazing and been so proactive with sending me an array of different roles. She has been lovely to work with and found me a wonderful role very quickly.
Incredibly clear communication
Incredibly clear communication and great options sent to me for a future nanny. I was able to speak honestly and openly about what we needed and felt really well listened to. Would highly recommend!
I am writing to raise a serious concern…
I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding my recent interaction with Ms. Morgane Cognaud. At her request, did in fact attend the interview on Wednesday 19th March and was informed that I had done well. My references were contacted shortly after, and I was also asked to submit my documentation, which I provided.I provided highly sensitive personal documents, including my passport, DBS certificate, and proof of address. She also contacted my referee as part of the process.
Since then, I have not received any feedback or updates on the status of my application. I have attempted to follow up by phone, but unfortunately I have been passed around without any clear response. This has left me feeling both exposed and vulnerable, given the nature of the information I shared.
Out of concern, I had to check your website myself to understand whether and how my documents are being used, which is not a reassuring experience. Considering the sensitivity of the documents involved, I kindly request urgent clarification on:
The current status of my application.
Confirmation of how my personal documents are being stored and protected.
Assurance that my data is being handled in line with GDPR and your company’s data protection policies.
I trusted your organisation with my personal information in good faith, and I would appreciate a prompt response to address this matter. i attended the interview
