Bought the PureVis pitcher

Bought the PureVis pitcher. From the first day it never filtered correctly. Even though I took the filter out and made sure it was in correctly. Contacted customer service and they were no help. Filter does not work as advertised and when I asked for a refund they said they don’t offer them.

*UPDATE* have been offered a refund for the pitcher. The customer service team is great!

Absolutely disgusting business…

Absolutely disgusting business practices, after paying postage they decided to send it tax unpaid. The item was held by customs until I paid import tax after paying them postage. Once paying an additional $35 to customs my item was released to me, and able to continue its journey to be delivered to me.

Shipping issue/ warranty claim

Had a delivery issue where the bottle was dropped off to a different address. They were kind enough to send me a replacement bottle. Had some issues with the replacement bottle and they were able to accommodate as well. I understand shipping issues and hardware issues can occur but the fact they stand by customer experience is huge. Already recommended them several friends and co workers.

Great idea but needs some fine tuning

Great idea but needs some fine tuning. I bought the pitcher and a water bottle. I have a strong dislike for how the straw works. The physics of it don’t make sense to me and you have to tilt the bottle a lot and end up with water on your face from the air pocket in the lid. The pitcher pours extremely slowly. The reason why I am giving 4 stars is because the advanced filters make the water taste SO GOOD. Best water I’ve ever tasted. I reached out to the company with my issues and if they help me troubleshoot my concerns I am leaving this review with 4 stars. If I receive poor customer service; I will be changing this review to 3 stars. I love the filters, I love the UV lights but they need to invest in better functionality. If the straw worked better and the pitched poured faster, this would be 5 stars!!

Best filter out there!!!

I’ve been using the LARQ Pitcher PureVis™ and it’s been a very solid upgrade from a standard filter jug.

Delivery was notably fast. From ordering to arrival, everything was straightforward and efficient, with clear updates along the way. It arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition, which set a good first impression.

The design is one of the standout features. It has a clean, modern look that actually fits well on a kitchen counter rather than needing to be hidden away. The Monaco Blue finish gives it a premium feel, and the build quality is noticeably above typical plastic filter jugs. The handle feels sturdy, the lid mechanism is smooth, and overall it comes across as well-engineered rather than mass-produced.

In terms of performance, the water quality is excellent. The taste is noticeably cleaner and crisper compared to untreated tap water. There’s a clear reduction in chlorine taste, and it feels softer and more refined. Great customer service!

After my cap seal broke and my water bottle was leaking, I worked with customer service who offered to replace my damaged cap. They responded quickly and professionally, which was greatly appreciated!

Tracking is hit and miss

Tracking is hit and miss. You have to open the app every time you drink for it to log basically. Don't even think about adding electrolytes to your water or else you won't be able to get it to pass through the filter at all.

Poor Hydration Tracking

The bottle is very good at filtering and purifying the water, with a definite improvement in the taste. However I've had real issues with the hydration tracking. The Larq Purevis 2 bottle doesn't accurately measure the volume of water you're drinking, it doesn't always communicate with the app, as it should despite following all the guidance. For example, on one day it only recorded 700ml of water when I had 2.5L throughout the day. If you're buying the bottle for hydration tracking purposes, it's not worth it.

Dirty so I thought the pitcher would be perfect but no today after 3 months of use I have the pitcher Full of sludge inside and there is no way to clean because it is sealed the pitcher only has a way to put and remove the filter super badly done the designer you can't wash the inside of the pitcher! Anyway, the worst product I bought because of Instagram that keeps bombarding for you to buy things, this was the first online purchase I made and I was completely disappointed with two expensive products that don't work and have no support from them, this product is a fraud! I don't advise anyone to buy it! And fake!

The Real LARQ PureVis 2 Self LEAKING/FAILING Water Bottle

I wanted to love the LARQ PureVis 2, and for a while, I genuinely did. The design is sleek, the concept is innovative, and it feels like a premium product when you first pick it up. Unfortunately, after extended use, it became clear that the core design has some serious flaws, and what’s more frustrating is how those issues are handled by the company.

The biggest problem is that the bottle is not truly sealed under normal, real-world conditions. Any pressure differential, like on an airplane or even just leaving it in a warm car, causes water to leak out through the cap and vent. This isn’t a one-off defect; it’s a repeatable issue. I tested it in multiple scenarios, with different fill levels, orientations, and confirmed all gaskets were properly installed. The result was always the same: pressure builds, and water escapes.

What’s particularly disappointing is that customer support ultimately confirmed this is “normal” behavior due to the venting design, meaning the bottle is fundamentally not suited for travel or temperature changes unless you modify how you use it (remove the straw, leave the cap open, constantly monitor pressure, etc.). That’s not what I expect from a premium water bottle.

Even more frustrating was the support experience. Over months of back-and-forth, I was repeatedly asked if I was using the bottle correctly, whether I overfilled it, oriented it properly, or checked the gaskets, despite providing clear explanations and even video evidence. It felt less like troubleshooting and more like deflection.

To make matters worse, the cap itself failed after less than two years of normal use, likely due to repeated stress from the same pressure-related design. When I reached out again, I was told the product was out of warranty and offered a 30% discount to buy a replacement part, essentially asking me to spend more money on a product that has already demonstrated design and durability issues.

To clarify, what you’re experiencing is not a defect specific to this product. Bottles that use straws and vented lids - across many brands - are not designed to be fully pressure-sealed. Changes in altitude (such as during flights) or temperature can create pressure differentials that force liquid through the vent system. This is expected behavior for this category of bottle, not a unique design flaw.

For situations involving pressure changes, we recommend using the bottle without the straw or ensuring pressure is released before opening. These are standard usage considerations for straw-based systems.

Regarding your comments on durability and support, we do our best to troubleshoot thoroughly and consistently, which can sometimes involve revisiting common setup factors to rule out user-side variables. While your product is outside of the warranty period, the discount offered is intended as a goodwill option rather than an obligation.

Loyal team great service

I had purchased my Purevis pitcher and filter a few years back since I’ve seen it in a tv show. I thought I’ll try it and we have been happy with it since. But, recently i noticed some inconsistency with the texture and how my pitcher looked. So, I reached out to get some advice. I promptly got a reply from Patricio form customer service. We talked about it more, he got my product info etc and even though mine was way off warranty he got it approved for replacement. It was not expected. I am so happy. Larq team do value their customers and standby their products. My wife and I have few water bottles by larq and whenever we go out, we fill them up with water from our pitcher and bring them wherever we go. Refreshing, clean taste water.
Thank you Patricio and Larq. For keeping our minds at ease drinking out water.

Terrible product knowledge and customer support

I love the Swig Top bottle so upgraded and bought the PureVis 2 Cap, the website clearly says that it is compatible with the straw, filter and adaptor in the Swig Top bottle, it even has a picture of the exact same one. When it arrived it is not compatible, you have to buy a new straw and adaptor for £8 PLUS £6 shipping!!!! I've paid £68 plus shipping for something I can't use. Customer Support have not replied to either request for them to send one FOC or my request to return the cap. This is a real shame as I love the swig top bottle, love the taste of the water so much that I use it for all the water I drink. However, this experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) that I've cancelled my subscription for the filters and will just use the bottle as a normal drinking bottle. Great product let down by a company that doesn't know it's own products, non existent customer support and a website that is misleading.

Top water quality and customer service

First the water quality is great when using the LARQ pitcher. It crystal clear and taste great much better then any previous filter used.

Second customer support is excellent not only for filter ordering or specific issues when you drop them an email. I had the occasion to converse with Patricio on a small issue. Patricio responded quickly and took care of my issue above and beyond.

Subscription plan expensive and sneaky

I have owned and used a Larq pitcher for almost four years. I find the pitcher useful. I do not appreciate the marketing techniques of Larq, including coupons that are nearly impossible to redeem or filter subscription plans that autor-refill without a courtesy email and result in a sudden 75€/$85 charge. This is unwelcome.

My son and I bought LARQ bottles. Loved them. Live the colors. Had an issue with the caps. Contacted the company. The representative, Patricio, is professional, pleasant and went beyond all expectations to find us a resolution. Superb customer service is hard to encounter these days.
