Livens LTD Reviews 

Travelled up to Livens after seeing they had good stock. The staff were friendly, helpful, and really knew their stuff. They showed me a few options, and I was sorted and back on the road within the hour. Smooth, easy transaction — just how it should be. It’s a fair drive for me (about 1hr), but I’ll definitely be using them again.

I responded by email to an ad from Livens on the Guntrader site offering a new Tikka rifle for sale. No response. I waited a day and emailed again. No response. I visited their own website and found the rifle model to be ‘Available on special order’ i.e. not in stock as advertised. I then used their online form to register a lead time enquiry for the rifle. Again, no response. You may have better luck but I’m going elsewhere.
Update:
Received an email response late today (19/07/24) confirming that a suitable rifle is in stock. Presumably systems/updates interfering with usual business interactions. Revised star rating accordingly. Thanks Livens.

Very friendly when you're buying, but certainly not supportive when there's an issue. Your money is in the till and we don't care! It doesn't matter how many thousands you spend in the store.

Sent for a fx 480cc carbon air bottle from Livens last Monday, it came on Wednesday pm. Unpacked and check bottle and straight away noticed dates on it, first reg 06-2016, the 1 test date was 06- 2021, end of use 2032. So the bottle was 6 yrs old already and past it’s first test date (no markings or certificate to say 1 test had been done, also the bottle had early valve in it my fx is new so bottle would not work on my gun. There was nothing on webb site to say it was early bottle either and to add insult to injury they charge the new full price for it.
Phoned on the Thursday morning to complain and asked for refund, they said they would pay for carrier cost back to them. I printed carrier cost on a40 sheet with packaging and sent it back. Arrived Saturday it was refunded back to me on the Tuesday, (they did not pay carrier cost.)
So Livens full marks for prompt delivery, full marks for prompt refund, NO marks for not paying carrier cost and Definitely NO marks for sending out an old out of date very early make of bottle with no safety certificate for first test, NO marks for charging full new price for old stock… hope to hear some comments on this

A top drawer gun room staff are very helpful!! A really nice place to visit.

Amazing customer service.
Needed some fireworks for a 70th Birthday. Arrived at shop over easter weekend, but was closed due to bank holiday. When I phoned and explained, they very kindly opened and sold me what I needed. Lovely to know, good old style shop keeping is still in force. Lovely people with great customer service.

Very pleased with the Customer Service I received when I had a problem with the wrong colour spacers being packaged with a Magpull rifle stock by the manufacturers.
The correct colour spacers were sourced and provided by Levins quickly and with no fuss.

I just wanted to let people know how pleased I am after speaking to a member of staff at liven,s today, the problem I had was only a door lock being very hard to unlock, but after numerous attempts to fix it I ended up ringing liven,s with the thought of paying for an expensive call-out fee plus the cost of the job, but he told me to try a couple of things first.the door is now working perfect at no charge at all , very much appreciated for the advice and also nice to feel you can trust the tradesman, many thanks.

I've been using Livens since 2018,and I can honestly say it's one of my favourite shops.
All the staff I've dealt with are spot on nothing is too much trouble and the atmosphere is relaxing but professional,I can highly recommend Peter and his workforce for all your shooting needs.

UNFORTUNATELY I couldn't recommend, went to order 2 small Snapcaps price£13.50 but when I put in my address which is in the U.K just like there shop, postage for 2 small Snapcaps was £20 😂😂 ended up as you can imagine buying exactly the same brand from another shop 1967Spud with a more reasonable postage of £5.

No one likes being ripped off

Visited their shop twice, bought a rifle on both occasions. Customer service was good and it's a great shop.

Wow I was in my FX element. Great guys managing to work in hard times. Not cheap or discounts unfortunately after spending 2.5k +. Got what I wanted and no Bu—-it saying they have it or can get it. Deffo a place for me from now on. Big thanks 🙏

Absolutely shocking disgusting service. Bought a brand new rifle, faulty from day one. All they could say was phone the importer, so I did. Well, 6 months later I was still waiting to have it sorted. In the end I had to issue proceedings against them to get my money back. I had to settle with a loss of £600 as I couldn't wait another 6months to a year for a hearing. They lied & lied & lied, weren't interested in sorting the issues out. Spending almost £2500 & this is how you get treated. Worst customer service ever. Deserve to go bust

A total Aladdin's cave for shooting enthusiasts, they stock just about everything you would ever need. Special thanks to Pete who dealt with me in a very patient and understanding manner, offering good advice and ultimately giving me an excellent deal. Cannot praise highly enough and will certainly be visiting again and spreading the word of how good they are. Thanks once again for such outstanding service and time spent sorting out my requirements. Will enjoy sighting in my new Kral Puncher Knight and Weirauch HW97.
