As a PA working closely with the LiveYou team, I genuinely couldn’t recommend them more. The team are supportive, knowledgeable, and always go the extra mile to secure the best possible funding and support, helping people with disabilities live independent lives without unnecessary barriers.

Even though LiveYou is a relatively small team, everyone is completely aligned on each client’s needs. Communication is strong, nothing is overlooked, and clients are always treated as individuals rather than just another case or number. It’s clear that the team truly care about the people they support and the outcomes they achieve.

From a PA’s perspective, working with LiveYou has been incredibly positive. Every day is different, the work is genuinely rewarding, and you’re supported to build strong, meaningful relationships with the people you work alongside. You’re made to feel valued, listened to, and part of a team that actually wants to make a difference.

Whether you’re someone looking for support to break down barriers, or a PA considering a new role, I would absolutely recommend LiveYou. I couldn’t speak more highly of the organisation or the work they do.

I have nothing but good things to say about Live You. We reached out to them for their help with securing funding employing and managing PAs for my disabled daughter. My daughter is in her early 30s and they just aren’t companies around like Live You that understand the needs of a younger person, all other companies we found seems to be focused more at elderly people or those that didn’t go out. Live You helped us every step of the way and without their help my daughter would not have received funding for 24/7 PAs. The pre-employment stage was seamless and my daughter managed to employ five amazing PAs. 18 months on and I still have nothing but great things to say about the the company, and although it sounds soppy their service is literally life changing. Sam, Dan and all the team at Live You are so friendly helpful and accommodating. From an employee point of view all my daughter’s PAs are really happy with the support they receive from Live You. if you’re thinking of reaching out to them do not hesitate they are just marvellous.

As a colleague, I joined the team not knowing what to expect, but any preconceptions I may have had couldn't have been more wrong!

LiveYou is not "just a care company", but a company who really cares about getting people the right funding and the right support from people they chose themselves and can build amazing relationships with. From dealing with both clients and PA's in my own role, I know how successful this autonomy over team management is, and how working alongside LiveYou can really help support this process from the start and ongoing throughout the journey.

I feel incredibly lucky to be working with such an amazing team with such a wonderful vision. (This could seem like a biased review...but this really is the best job I have ever had so is entirely honest!)

They really messed me around. Do not recommend. I've been working with them for over a year but I still have no care in place and they've been really dragging their heels about it.

Now, because my condition has deteriorated due to my lack of care for over a year and I can no longer "go skiing" (no joke, that was in an email they sent me), apparently I'm too disabled for their marketing requirements now - fair enough I suppose if they'd told me at the beginning, less good when they've wasted a year where I could have actually had a organisation who helped me instead.

They're also very keen on toxic positivity and trying to get PAs who would "encourage" me, which felt very infantilizing and uncomfortable. Positivity is definitely a good trait in a PA but every disabled person understands what it's like when people take it too far.

I felt that the person I originally worked with, Hannah, who later left the organisation, was brilliant & understood what it's like when you are disabled and need care to do things. But the person I dealt with after I left, Sam, didn't seem to understand what it was like at all, was generally unfriendly & unhelpful and used a lot of ableist tropes. But I do get the impression that before she left they were better, thus the more positive reviews before.

As a minor point, they are also very difficult to get hold of, very slow answering emails or getting anything done, and will just let you down without warning - for example, they promised they would come to a particularly difficult social services meeting and then just decided not to.

I highly recommend LiveYou. As a young disabled person it’s rare to find a team of people who understand. They are an amazing care support provider and have changed my life when it comes to living with PA’s as a disabled person. Every aspect of the support I have received has been highly professional, friendly and approachable, any questions and they deal with them almost immediately, I really could not recommend them more.

This company has found a great carer for my son and are supporting us through his transition to uni and into adulthood. We are really glad that we found them.

I have been a client of LiveYou for over a year now and I can honestly say that choosing them to handle my care and support is the best decision I have ever made. Before LiveYou my care used to stress me out 24/7 and my funding never felt secure.

LiveYou got me the hours I needed and secured the funding on my behalf, which took a load off my mind. We then worked together to find me an ideal PA, who still works with me to this day. I would recommend this service to anyone.
