Scam! No goods - it's a scam to get you to buy something you want but all you're buying is membership of a discount club which doesn't even work anyway.

This is not a shop, this is rubbish. Take money from account strate away but after this no answer. When try by WhatsApp, just chat ''I don't know, I do not understand what you want''. No delivery, no money!

Waited two weeks for deluxe Christmas crackers for a party on the 3rd December.
Ordered on the 24 th November, thinking it was plenty of time.
Dozens of email's later,
Although I've paid for them , apparently there just sitting there,
Because I need to redeem them ?
What ! I said,
I had no idea, I only shop online every now and then.
Is this redeem a new thing ?
How many more people don't get the redeem bit.
Is it a case off 1000s of pounds sitting in banks growing interest, making people fight for their money back?

Living social have acknowledged receipt of money yet failed to send goods or to offer a refund. All they offer is a credit on another order. Beware.

Shocking! Scam! The products are listed for sale, money deducted straight away, no items delivered, as customers are forced to sign up with credit card details a monthly prescription (€15 ) before the order will be processed or claims can be made and no money ever is returned . Even 1 star is too much for such criminal behaviour. Please always read customer reviews before purchasing anything.

Delivery should be 18th Nov 2022. It is now 22nd and no progress since the 15th. I tried contacting but they forward to Evri delivery. The status has not changed in 5 days, it still states 'Your parcel is at the delivery depot'. Their contact form states ... '404 - seriously, so embarrassing. Looks like the page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable.'
The contact form still has error 404 after 3 days.

I ordered a mans watch via an advertisement received by email. When I came to pay (Via Paypal) I found that I was paying 'Wowcher' and not LivingSocial.
I was concerned that after payment I did not receive any information about a delivery date.
Emails sent to me requested that I redeem a voucher, which I did, but still no info on delivery.
I attempted to contact LivingSocial and Wowcher by telephone but neither seem to answer phone calls.
Next step was to try to contact via 'Whatsapp' as this seems to be the only way that Wowcher are able to communicate with customers. Not voice contact only text contact (starting with auto responses).
Eventually, I did receive an email telling me that my voucher had been successfully redeemed and that I would get the product.
However a delivery charge request was made for a further £9.99. No delivery charge over and above the product price quoted was mentioned in the advert I reponded to originally.
I found the purchase process very confusing. I believe I received emails from four different organisations.
I will not buy a product again as a result of an advert by LivingSocial.
Buying from Amazon is much easier snd the price differential is worth it for peace of mind!!
I have the watch. It is as advertised and is working O.K.

I recently reviewed a previous purchase, and stated I had only received half my order. I have to say within hours I'd had an email to say they had checked my account and saw that I'd only redeemed 1 voucher, I had automatically assumed as both items were on the same order and identical only 1 voucher was needed.
I'm now happy to say my 2nd mattress topper is now on its way.
Very quick and positive response from this company.

I purchased a voucher for a blanket. It was all too good to be true. They took money but it never arrived. They will not reply to me.

This company should not be allowed to trade. I bought the divan crushed velvet bed with apparantly this wonderful mattress and headboard. This was in February. The plastic was so weak that the headboard literally stayed up for 3 days then the plastic split on the attachments both sides. I have flipped my mattress more times than I can even count as when I say every spring has pushed its way through the “so called fantastic layer of memory foam” on BOTH sides now that it’s horrendous but just to top things of the left side of the base has collapsed well the bottom has completely gone and it’s just slowly working it’s way around so the whole bed is wonky. I literally have NEVER EVER in my 47 year of living known such a bed so shoddy that has been passed as a acceptable to inflict on people to purchase. I suffer mental health and sleep is a very important factor of my functioning. Which as u can imagine is something that has become impossible. But upon contacting them about this issue just these months later I was simply told warranty’s last 6 months any addition comments feel free to add. No care in the world. Almost feels like they are selling this product knowing they only have a very short life span because they are such poor poor quality and purposely letting us think otherwise. I can not afford a new bed so have no choice now but to live miserable. But I hope that other people see this abd steer well clear from living social. Good luck

Scam!!! Voucher didn't work...Avoid it !!!

I was brought a voucher for my birthday. Unfortunately the person who bought it didn’t put their name on. I realised there were 2 different valid dates when I tried to redeem the voucher. I contacted Living social and they told me they couldn’t help me because of data protection. In other words they ripped me off. I’m disgusted with their customer service and will never use this company again.

I bought a voucher a couple months ago for Afternoon tea for 2 at Copthorne Tara Hotel Kensington. Several friends went and walked out on account of the place being dirty, the crockery was dirty, stale bread, no saucers cups were placed on plates, no staff, waited ages etc. They all walked out in disgust. There are numerous appalling reviews of this hotel advising people not to go. I decided I would not take my friend & risk getting food poisining or worse & contacted living social asking if they would give me a credit to put towards another offer. You can only contact by whatsapp & they reply after 24 hrs but its a Robot called Walter ! I screenshot some of the awful reviews to highlight why I was asking for credit. After 12 hrs of to & from whatsapp messages I was told that I would only get 50% as I purchased more than 14 days ago but have not received any credit as promised. Surely I am entitled to a full refund as under Trade Descriptions act the goods or services not as advertised. Looks like Ive lost my money, will never use again. Steer clear please !!

Completely scam. Do not, I repeat do not buy anything in this website or worse try the app.
It's been months and months end I cannot login to my account, recover the password never works and the customer service almost inexistent. When you are "lucky" enough to speak with a representative, they are dismissive, disregard any issue and keep saying all sort of lies. I lost about 100 eur with them in vouchers trying to solve a problem they caused. 100% service with Groupon and Pigsback. Go for them, there is very little difference in price for the same deal and you are guaranteed the service, product or REAL support. Living social is a SCAM

If I could give zero I would. Absolute scam, ordered items for my sister's birthday and got nothing , the company will not respond the delivery company will not respond. KEEP AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Bought Edinburgh hotel deal £104. Cannot get through to confirm date as phone lnbox full for last 2 weeks. All emails have been ignored. Hotel won’t answer phones. Please Do Not buy anything from this scamming company.

I bought one travel, didn’t gave me information from the travel, also after two email. The Travel company also didn't respond me! When I said enough, I want to return my money, after many-many email and complaint, the Livingsocial gave me credit woucher. Not gave me money!! Didn't ask me I want credit or not, they are decided instead me, what I want with my money!!!! 😠😠😠😡😡😡

Utterly appalling. Take your money and ignore you Paid for two items received nothing Impossible to contact. Complete scam. Should not be allowed to trade
