Once your order is confirmed, if you could complete and return the shoes as directed in the form situated above, that would get the process started. On arrival, the shoes are inspected and placed on the original lasts. Our skilled factory staff rebuild the shoes using new long soles and heels, to the current factory specification. The uppers are refinished as best possible, and new laces are included. Although there are normally no issues in repairing Loake shoes, we cannot tell for certain if a repair can be made until the shoes have been examined. **Please Note** that we will not be able to repair footwear not originally produced by Loake, nor can we repair shoes that have previously been repaired by a third party. We will NOT be able to return shoes in their original boxes (new boxes will be supplied), and we also cannot guarantee return of any shoe trees, shoe bags, or additional insoles etc. included with your shoes when sent to us. Please can you also remember that when you send your shoes back in for repair, they will be closely examined, by hand, by our repair team. If you could please remove dirt with a damp cloth before sending them in, that would be appreciated. Shoes that are excessively muddy and/or unpleasant to handle will be returned to you without being processed. We cannot be held responsible for the safe packaging and arrival of your shoes, so we recommend protecting your shoes in a box before sending in for your repair. Some types of shoes such as boat shoes cannot be repaired; if in doubt please contact Loake to confirm. I sent shoes for a repair it would of been nice to of received a emails To confirm they had been received and roughly how long it would be till they would be returned.

Having owned my Loake’s Burford boots in black for over 3 years, wearing them 2 to 3 times per week on average. It was time in May to send them off for a sole and heal repair. Well today they’ve returned and look, feel and smell great. Well worth the £100 to have them repaired back at the factory including postage and packaging. Obviously the soles and heal look like new as, well they are. But the quality of the repair is top quality. The leather uppers have also had some time spent on them, and although still look worn, I’d argue you’d never tell they had been worn up to three days a week in a busy restaurant. Meaning worn for 10-12 hours a time. If you want shoes that are comfortable, classic and reparable and (depending on brand range) made here in England, have a look at Loake. I’ll definitely be purchasing another pair and will continue to use their repair option. Here’s to another 3 years of wear

Fabulous job. Turned around in a reasonable time scale bearing in mind the COVID situation. Particularly pleased with the non standard repairs to the heel area and the replacement lace eyes. They now have that “new shoe” feel to them, but already bedded in. My Chesters have been worn every other day as a work shoe for over four years now and have proved to be excellent value for money - the ability to have them restored at the factory means they will continue to give great service for many years to come.
