I got an email from underwriting that said my house that had a VA loan and was converted to Real Property and is supposed to be listed like any other site built home; was not eligible for a refi loan.
The same day I get a letter asking me to accept the terms of the loan.
They are on the California Gold evidently smoking the good stuff.

Offered me a ARM VA IRRL and sent the LE only to find out from another lender that this was not in the VA guidelines and no way it would close .After calling and confronting this issue and speaking with the loan officer who spoke to his director to get credit on the points before issuing the LE, which did finally acknowledge that they couldn’t do the loan. Wasted time .

We're repeat customers, most recently from just a few months ago and we expected things to go quickly and easy. Had a few hurdles but most disappointing came at the end. Paying off existing loans/cards was a disaster with wrong checks issued leading to delays, missed payments, penalties, increased APR rates and forfeiture of benefits. We're told LoanDepot was looking into it. That was a couple weeks ago with no response. I doubt we'd ever go with LoanDepot again. We dealt with some nice people but the process and end result left much to be desired. LD dropped the ball and there seems to be little accountability. Sad. :(

So just before Loan closing with Loan Depot, Abe Miller suggested I not make my January payment with my current mortgage company and I asked him if this would affect my credit and he said no it would not and the loan would fund before it would ever be considered late.
Now I have a 30 day late on my credit report.

I did not agree to allow them to share or sell my data with their partners and was told that their service may be delayed as a result.

Basically, they purposely offer degraded service to people who don't sign up for their marketing list.

Buying a home is stressful enough. Don't appreciate them making it more stressful because they don't get another mark for their marketing list.

I love that the LoanDepot team keeps you informed at every step of the loan process.

You have been spamming my phone every single day for the last month after I put in an inquiry on another website. Never once engaged back being interested with your team. Stop bugging people. Ridiculous.

Applied for a HELOC. Got turned down due to an unfortunate low point in my credit history life. No biggie. Expected that. Bad times happen. But what I didn't expect is my experience when I asked for a decline letter for my records. The loan officer said he would get it to me by the end of that day. Nothing. 4 days go by, I call, out of office due to holidays. Ok. No biggie... but ask for customer service, I was polite, disconnected me THREE TIMES. Finally got through to a manager who gave me all the info I needed including the direct department phone number so I didn't have to go through the pain of phone options etc. It was a non-working number. If this is the kind of customer service they showed me, BEWARE what they would do for you. Rediculous.

were very instrumental in guiding me along. They represented your company very well.
Your companies' overall communication is very good and your follow up is excellent.

Very unhelpful and charged for points when promised they wouldn’t on top of having us sign with a name incorrect.

Everything on the front side was good. Sending out payoff checks after closing sucks. Should have been wire transfers.

Refinancing was easy, especially since the same team did my initial loan. The notary came to the home. Good communication at all times, questions answered. Portal is clear and reasonably easy to use. No complaints.

We refinanced with LoanDepot... every person we interacted with was superb, from the initial response to the lending officer to the senior account manager to the closing attorney who worked with them locally. Highly recommended.

I had to pay back money disbursed to me. Their error. My inconvenience. Had to wire money back due to incompetence.
