Recommend and I would like to rent again

wonderful helpful gentle assistant @ Locauto Torino Porta Nuova

I booked the car through the company’s website while I was at the hotel.
The next day, when I went to pick it up, I made the mistake of following the address for the parking area instead of the correct pickup location at the offices.
The gentleman who cleans and checks the cars helped me and took me to the right place where I should have gone from the beginning.
A big thank you to him, as well as to the staff at the offices, because otherwise I would have gotten lost—it was my first time in Italy.
I would highly recommend them.

Rented a car 10th time with the company.
+ Cars are usually well prepared.
+ No deposit policy with the prices retained competitive.
+ If you book a car in smaller class, you may be upgraded to the next or higher class (upon occasion).
- Don't recommend to book a car in the smallest class (class A) as you will never get Toyota Aygo, won't get Fiat 500 as well, and you will be unpleasantly upgraded to Fiat Panda (don't recommend for long trips - you will be tired more than get a pleasure, not an ergonomic car).
- Recommend to book a full damage coverage and don't rely on your good driving experience. In Italy a car can be subject to act of vandalism even in a small town (I faced with a deep scratch on the trunk door). The damage costs are high.

The car was fine, but even though I booked it in advance and had it for a week, they didn't give me clear instructions on how to return it. I told them from the beginning that I would be leaving the car after 8 pm in Turin, but the address they gave me was for the sales office, which was closed, not the parking lot, and they weren't answering any of the contact phone numbers.

I returned the car on time and according to all the documented instructions given to me at the Imperia pickup location. Because the Torino Porta Nuova location had nobody at the drop off return location, they charged me an extra day because their staff did not register the return until hours later. The young guy at the location cleaning took no responsibility in providing any information. What an awful, poorly run car rental location.

Friendly and helpfull people in the office

The fuel tank should have been plenty at the check-in, it was nearly empty. Explanations about how to start the car should have been provided. Staff was nice at the check-in in Torino as well as at the check-out in Imperia.

friendly,corteous staff at the desk,finding parking a mile away is another story and absolutely undestennable, if return is in a different place, you get 2 return addresses, one on reservation with not reachable phone number and another on agreement you sign upon picking up car,with not reachable phone number and instruction to leave car street smth first floor, street is 2 miles long,not a single sign of Locauto, turns out it in public parking underneath train station Torino, God bless people of this city, who eventually guided us there, will highly recommend and use again when in Italy

Great experience

The service was very good. The agent was cooperative and he explained everything getting out of the parking and coming back was very easy. I am very happy with the service. The only thing is my car was OK. Did not have a AC and it happened to be a very hot day so I would assume a minimum Requirement should be an air conditioning. We are living in the 21st century.

The staff were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces.
