Advertised Toyota Aygo turned into Fiat Panda - multiple scratches on every side.
Advertised tire chains turned into tire socks - pretty useless in Dolomites.
Summer tires in winter.
At the car return a Locauto rep tried to frame me in a few scratches but ultimately he gave up.
The positive - smart checkin works really good and fast.

The reception at the Treviso airport…
The reception at the Treviso airport desk by Luca F was excellent from the very beginning. That is very important because he was the face of the company.
I had booked a car with winter tyres as I was going skiing in the Dolomites. Luca suggested I upgrade by paying a difference and take a 4x4 SUV, which I finally accepted. It was really good advice and a good decision. We had several days of snowfall and the accommodation we rented was up a hill.
We will repeat!

Winter tyres and chains
I booked winter tyres (51eur extra charge) and chains as I went for a holiday in the mountains. I got summer tyres and chains - the employee said upon pickup the tyres are all season (they were not). When it started to snow I tried to put on the chains and it turned out they were the wrong size - up to R16 and the tyres were R17. As a result I wasted 1,5 days of holiday as I had to wait in the hotel for the snow to stop and the roads to be cleaned. On top of that the next day I had to drive through snowy roads down to the valley, I returned to Treviso to get good chains from Locauto. The person confirmed my tyres were summer ones and changed my chains to the good size, saying they don't have cars with winter tyres atm and that I should write a complaint. The next days I had to mount the chains in the night and in the mud in order to be able to continue my plans. Upon dropoff at Bergamo the employee told me to write a complaint by email to customer service. I have still not received an answer after 5 days. I would like AT THE VERY LEAST my money back for the extra winter charge. The company should be better prepared for winter, I did not rent a car in Sicily and the mountains are nearby.

Decent price for a good car
Decent price for a good car. Pickup was bit time consuming with lot of process which can be fastened. Drop off was quick and easy. Overall a good experience

Great car (brand new) and a smooth service of pick up and drop off.
Highly recommend to do online check in to avoid ques in the terminal. You will just go to the car park and pick your key.

I would recommend having a couple of options for insurance at the desk, a full one and a cheap excess reduction.
They had a one covering tires/frontscreen but it was too expensive to make sense.
